They did great Grooming my Luna Belle today she is so clean and just looks perfect. Unfortunately they ran out of the Valentine's special spritz for her but hopefully we will get it next time!

Corporate complaint was ignored completely

If I could give negative stars, I would. The grooming was horrible, and my dog came home so shaken that for two weeks she panicked every time we walked into any store, thinking she was about to be groomed again. She has never been scared of grooming in her life, so whatever happened back there is a mystery, and not a good one. Customer service was another nightmare. I spent 80 minutes going back and forth, being told "we'll make it right," but nothing was ever done. This was the worst grooming experience I've ever had. Trust me, it really is that bad.

Some days you need to just stop and recognize a great job. We have used the Grooming department of PetSmart, Sunset Valley, TX location for several years. Having four dogs makes us frequent visitors. Today, our big dog, Larry, was introduced to a new (to us) groomer, Jesse. Jesse did an outstanding bath, brushing, ear cleaning and nail grind. A clearly happy Larry was returned to us in record time. Bri does an awesome job on Honey, the Shih Tzu, every six weeks. Thank you to all the groomers at that location who have cared for our pups over the years. Their good work and care continue to make our family happy and comfortable with the work they do.

Grooming services: We took our Cavachon for his first grooming today. Luckily, we were able to get in same day. The staff were super nice and he got a great cut. We'll definitely use them again!

The worst experience I've ever had dealing with a shamelessly unapologetically behavior of an unprofessional gromer and manager who basically did everything he could to invalidate my complaints. This morning, I took my 6-year-old cat for grooming, the second time during his 6 years since I've been handling by myself, but this time, I require professional help since my cat had some heavy mat issues. I pay for a Bath & Brush with Deshed + Cat - Dematting Fee (30 min) $114. But I made a huge mistake when I picked my boy off, checking on him exhaustively once I got home; I realized he still needed to be brushed or de-matted as requested and paid. I gave the groomer straightforward guidelines about its mats, and I also completely accept that I may receive my boy not wholly dried because it could be uncomfortable for him to remain in the dryer for a long time. Anyway, he returned with more matts, unbrushed and completely messed up. I called consumer service, assisted by a lovely, helpful rep who listened carefully to my complaint and walked me through the following steps. 10 minutes afterward, I received a call from the store manager to hear his lecture on why I received my cat soaked and all kinds of arguments on "cats grooming 101" and why I was wrong, no matter what I told him. Although I knew my cat would need to be dried more, the arrogant manager discussed the issue non-stop, avoiding the real problem. When I specifically asked him about the real issues of brushing and de-matting, he replied, "I talked with the groomer, and she said she did it. Also, I saw the camera vids where I saw her doing it," so basically, my complaint was invalidated, with his "irrefutable" evidence, so when I am confronting him about his need to improve his communication with his employees since it was obvious my cat wasn't brushed or demat, he came back offering a rescheduled session to check the maths and fix them. Due to his poor consumer service skills and lack of empathy, I declined his offer and ended the call. No more Petsmart for my household, and please consider other grooming services, at least when you're thinking about your cats. You will do 100% better grooming service than what I received. Such a scam.

A 5-Star review for consistent 5-star performances that's long overdue. My dog Patsy Cline and I really love this PetSmart, it's been our go-to for several years now for pet training, various pet supplies and food, and the boarding services which we frequently utilize. Patsy Cline loves their Day Camp, I can tell because when I take her here she gets really excited to see the staff - who all have come to know her now and greet her by name. I bring her food and bed, the staff here follow the feeding instructions, she participates in Day Camp from 9-5 and gets her own room. When I pick her up they give me a progress report and feedback on her stay. I can tell they're really engaged with Patsy as the information is helpful. They also wash her bed when I pick her up which is a bonus, they recently purchased a new large capacity dryer that can wash large beds which makes it easier and more efficient for the staff. Speaking of the staff - everyone is always consistently on point and courteous and you can tell they really enjoy working here. They always greet you when you walk in, and those who know Patsy and I always stop by to say hello. All of the managers are very nice and everyone is always so nice and professional, and IMO that all starts at the top with quality leadership and management led by their General Manager, Jason Scarpino. He's always been very helpful and responsive when I have gone to him, he has excellent customer service skills and is eager to make sure you have a great experience here to make sure you keep coming back - and that's why I do. I can't thank Jason and his entire staff enough for always going above and beyond the call of duty. Patsy loves getting her nails clipped from the Grooming Salon in the back, the staff there are very gentle with her and do quality work. Another recent bonus here is they now track your purchases and give you $$ back, so my last visit I saved $12 off Patsy's 3 day stay. They also offer up coupons for additional discounts. And if you board your dog overnight you get a discounted rate for the Day Camp. I now get the Silver Package because it includes a daily treat along with the overnight boarding and Day Camp and ends up being cheaper than ordering the services separately. Kudos and 5-Stars to Pet Smart Brodie from Patsy Cline!

Sometimes I've boarded her, which usually causes her to be reluctant the next time we go for day care. Not at Pups and Pals! She is so excited every morning! The daily schedule allows for group play and indoor rest. The staff evaluates the dogs' personalities, size, and energy levels before putting them in a group. Playtime includes best friends, lots of cuddles and kisses, pools in the summer, and always playscapes. They go out anywhere between 6-8 times a day, with breaks in their air conditioned suites. The building is super nice, very new, and the play areas have K9 grass that keeps their paws nice and clean. I especially like that it is hosed every night. BTW there's a groomer onsite! Just a heads up -- it's hard to see the marquis from the 1st street entrance. You really need to know what you're looking for! April and I give Pups and Paws 4 paws up!

I was happy to hear that the play groups are sorted by dog size and temperament to ensure that everyone would get along. The staff is so warm and friendly. You can tell they are dog people! I knew my boys were in good hands and it took a lot of stress of my mind while on vacation. I LOVE getting to see all of the pictures that they post daily on Facebook. Seriously they're so cute and funny - you can see the dogs personalities in the pics and to me that means they are comfortable and happy. Transparency was a big element for me to try this place out for the first time. They have published policies on their website about what they will do if your dog were to get hurt on accident and I really appreciated that. There is really nothing negative that I have found about this place! I recommend bringing your furry children there.

I'm hoping this review saves someone else the time and money…read more Our usual boarding place was full for the holiday, so I reluctantly looked for alternatives. When I called to schedule an evaluation, the manager (Jennifer, I believe) strongly encouraged me to go ahead and book the holiday dates. In hindsight, this was likely just to secure our money (more on their refund policy in a moment). I specifically asked if my deposit would be refunded if my dog didn't pass the evaluation and was told yes. What was not made clear to me over the phone: they do not issue refunds. Ever. They only "credit" your account for future services. I wouldn't mind this if I were already a client, but I've never sent my dog here, and at this point he hadn't even been evaluated. About an hour after booking the evaluation and boarding (and putting down deposits for both), I found reviews on Yelp and Reddit, and a news article, stating that a dog had died here due to alleged negligence about a year ago. Out of safety concerns, my partner immediately called to cancel everything. Only then were we fully informed of their real refund policy and told that our $600+ deposit would not be returned, but instead would sit as a "credit" on an account for a facility we would never send our dog to after what I learned. And when we brought up the incident, the business placed the blame entirely on the dog owner. Let me be clear: I am not posting this because of my safety concerns or the alleged incident. I'm posting this because I truly feel we were scammed. They intentionally avoided explaining their refund policy over the phone to secure payment from us. I feel completely taken advantage of. The Acre never clearly disclosed their refund policy when speaking to me and made no effort to ensure I understood it before booking. If you're considering the Acre, please make sure they provide full, upfront transparency around their refund policy before you hand over any money. This entire experience has been an absolute nightmare. And no, my credit card company was not able to dispute the charge.

We are responsible for speaking on their behalf. I was a customer of The Acre over the course of the month of June 2024. I chose them based on their google reviews, followed their suggestions for onboarding, and ultimately lost our dog due to my decision to place her in their care. My experience with the staff at The Acre has been distressing. They have proven to be more concerned with maintaining their rating on this site than they are with admitting and correcting the wrongs that ended my precious dog's life. Barret and Madelyn (who run The Acre) have not been able to tell me when Wendy went missing or from where on the property. They have placed the blame for this event on an anonymous scapegoat, shirking any responsibility themselves. I believe that every action they've taken to find Wendy has been in their own self-interest, informed especially by the way they are handling deeply justified, relevant, and necessary criticism of their safety protocols. Need I remind you, my dog is dead and they were the last people to see her. If I were them, I would not spend my energy attempting to hide this fact from the public, but working to drastically raise the standard of safety at The Acre. They put on a good show, but that is all it is- a show. It is my strong opinion that The Acre is not a safe place to leave your animal. I wish desperately that I had taken a more critical eye to this place and the people who run it before leaving my dog with them, and I beg you to do the same.

We went to a couple of places, one even where you can watch on an app that was closer to us, but when we went to visit the place, we did not like the "vibe" of the place. When we took a tour (just call, and they will let you take a look at the facility before hand) of Paws Landing, we immediately felt great! We had our puppy for an half day "evaluation" with Durenda, which also made us feel at ease. She is marvelous!!! When we picked her up from that, she went over everything she did, and how she thought our puppy would do. They had her in a small yard first and let our puppy feel safe before they had her with the other dogs. I really like too, how they have the dogs separated into "small dogs", " large dogs" and "very active dogs". She has a great team working with her, watching over them, and most importantly taking care of them all day. They will always send you a text and email to confirm your reservation, which is great. They go inside and outside to play all day. If they go "all day" they will get a 2-hour rest, so they get a break from all the fun! But, believe me, when you pick your dog, they will be tired when they get home, which is "good thing"! Pam will send you pictures later via text of your dog, which is great to see at the end of the day. Now, that my dog has gone for awhile, she gets excited when we get there, and she is excited to see Pam and her team when I drop her off.
