The atmosphere was comfortable, service was flawless and prices were reasonable. Behind the sushi bar was a smiling sushi chef, proudly making my delicious masterpiece. Ther ambiance is good aesthetically good pictures and decorations. The music is hip hop/rap music which is strange for a sushi place. The waiter even apologized for it before we left. Strange experience all together. The food is good! Lots of flavor but there are plenty of other places out there that are better. Ordered to pick up, was told 10-15min pick up, I got there within 10 minutes had to wait 5 minutes for food to be ready. Overall friendly customer service, ordered sushi rolls and all were fresh and tasty. Ordered the love roll, mountain roll and hot night roll. All three were delicious. My favorite was the mountain roll because of the baked salmon on top, Only wish they would provide more wasabi and ginger for the amount of sushi we ordered. Prices were reasonable for sushi. Came here with four people, used a groupon. The place itself is nice and spacious, welcoming, which I like. Family friendly, many people came here with kids. Can get noisy but it's fine. Yummy!!! My family and I stopped by here after visiting Mukilteo and the sushi was divine, service wonderful, and entrees were tasty. I highly recommend the Puget Sound roll and the the deluxe tempura maki roll. The salmon bento box on a scale of 1 to 5 is a 4 and the chicken teriyaki and gyoza on scale of 1 to 5 was a 4. Came here to celebrate Tokyo getting the 2020 Olympics (ganbare Tokyo!) The food is pretty standard fare for a sushi joint and brings the flavors that its korean owners (?) bring. Hey that's not a smack ... even the Japanese envy the Koreans for their food. It's true. Ask any pureblood Japanese from Japan and they'll go "Anno ... etto ..." and look embarrassingly off to the side. One of the unique things is the nacho sushi. The unique flavors of the cheese with the fish and nacho crunchiness I thought would be revolting. In actuality it was quite good! Unique textures that doesn't make it sushi, but definitely in the American-Korean-Japanese fusion camp. The other sushi was high grade quality and better than anywhere else I had in the Northend. Only a few places bested it, even in Seattle. Tsukushinbo is one of the best places and isn't fair to compare it to there, but in the Northend there's definitely a few places that are good, and this place is up there. I'm sad to see this place with so few customers on a Friday. I'm thinking that if they advertised more and saw their Yelp page they would get more customers. They're across the parking lot from Gelatocious gelato place, maybe they could hook up with them? read more

There is just no better place to eat Sushi. I've been to many of the so-called "best" sushi places around Seattle and none of them come close to Tokyo House. This is the kind of Sushi you'd expect from a super fancy restaurant. It just so happens to be in Everett, the Chef is amazing! Very clean restaurant and there is always some hip jazzy music playing. Now the food. I've been here dozens of times and have never had bad or gross food. My favorite roll has to be the Deluxe Tempura Maki Roll (not on the menu, must ask for), soooo good! Other favorite rolls of mine are the Martian Roll, Spicy Alligator, the Jeff Roll, the Blondie Roll, the Mt Rainer and the 911 Roll. My favorite non sushi roll item is definitely the Salmon Skin Hand Roll!!! Its one of those items that you may not think to try but if you do, you won't be disappointed. Awful! We brought our Japanese exchange student here for our first visit as she was a bit homesick. We were concerned when we got inside and there was only one table occupied during the "dinner" hour. The Korean staff and chef also threw us , but no worries... as long as the food reminds her of "home", right? Due to my celiac and need to eat gluten free, I began by asked about the ingredients of some of their entrees, though was surprised to learn that EVERYTHING is pre-packaged and/or pre-made from their supplier. They admitted they essentially heat and serve everything that comes from the kitchen. With this, my family ordered the chicken curry and rice (basic) and I ordered a spicy tuna roll from the sushi bar. Note: they don't have gluten free soy sauce available. The curry dishes came out looking like watered down soup. Our Japanese student said it was awful, though politely choked it down. The sushi was not fresh and tasted terrible to the point I could not finish it. If you want GOOD sushi, I would recommend either Toyama down the street or Ho Sushi Bistro on 128th. read more

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place as we were driving and figured, "why not?" to trying this place! We walked in on a Saturday evening around 6pm and the place was empty. The hostess/waitress immediately welcomed us in and sat us down. There is definitely a lot of options of entrees that you can get here! It's priced very well, I was surprised that a bento box (which is what we each got) was priced around $10. Most places that I've experienced in the past price them at around $14-15. It took about 8 minutes before the both of us got our food and we were very pleased! They give a good amount of food for each part of the bento box (teriyaki, sushi, rice, salad, dumplings, fried tempura) for the price you're paying. Overall, it tasted very good! The decor to this place had a modern Japanese feel to it. It was clean and visually appealing. We had a great experience here and we would probably come by again in the future. The only downside we had to this place would be the music selection, but, that wasn't that big a deal. read more

This is the best Japanese food in Everett!! When we found it we spent dinner there every friday for a month! It's great to go to Gelato'ious across the parking lot afterwards. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The miso soup is the best!! Normally I don't order miso but if it comes with my order I drink some of it, here it is so good I will order it no matter what. My daughter and I alway order the chicken katsu. Amazing. There is good sushi in Everett - who knew? Certainly you'd never know it from the exterior - don't let that frighten you. The salmon teriyaki/sushi bento lunch was outstanding - a miso soup start, a nice slab of teriyaki salmon, 2 gyoza, amazing tempura (about 5 pieces, including shrimp), a six piece roll and rice for about $12. You can substitute a roll for the one that comes with the bento for only the price difference, and I recommend the Everett roll. Two could probably share the bento if you added another roll or an order of sashimi. Fish was very fresh and service was excellent. The only bummer is that they don't have tamari for us gluten-free folks. Closed on Mondays, which is sad. read more

We finally sat down and tried a few things. We had tempura (it was alright) and gyoza (the sauce was heavy and wasn't that great) kind of ruined the gyoza. I ordered the everett about $7 and the other one I got was about $15. I got it and it was super tiny and not that great. I was expecting more for that price. I'm a believer in second chances but Oshimas is still the best sushi I've eaten in this area. What makes a difference is when the staff are kind since that didn't happen that may have affected how I felt about this place. Maybe will come back again not too sure.
