Great hibachi! Our cook was great and entertaining. They were quick to accommodate allergies and gave a free fried ice cream for our lunch anniversary celebration! We opted into splitting a plate for an up charge and the amount of food we got still was insane, we had plenty of leftovers! I recommend ordering the filet mignon :)

Goodness I.

Came here on a Sunday night for hibachi and dinner. We weren't really looking for a big show, just good food. It's very loud, which we weren't expecting and HOT. From the flames, to the smoke, to the poor ventilation. The food was okay, BIG portions for sure, and a lil salty. Not sure I think it was worth it¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sushi was pretty good for the price point. I ordered two different salmon rolls and they were doable. The fried ice cream melted too fast for to go so next time I would eat it at the restaurant. I also got a toro handroll, it was ok. I want to come back and try other rolls. Service was great and prompt. They have hibachi here

Food was delicious, chef was fun to watch and listened to requests, server was attentive. My only complaint was how hot it was, but we'll be back.

My friends surprised me with a birthday dinner at Tokyo Harbor. They were kind enough to give us a private area. The service was amazing. The chef was very upbeat and lively. I like that there is a variety of selections on the menu. My food was delicious. They were patient and helped everyone decide on what dishes to order.

We had a great meal for our family's birthdays. First, the bar drinks were very good, and then seated, the typical appetizers. The show was enough for us, our cook was very friendly. The only thing a little disappointing was the fried rice you pay a few dollars extra for...it didn't have the veggies and eggs in it that other places cook in with it. But all said, love this place.

The weirdest presentation of Agedashi Tofu ever:(

It was alright. Not authentic Japanese but more hibachi place. I tried the the non hibachi section with rolled sushi. People are drawn to the place as they open late.

We went for our son's bday celebration but despite putting that on our reservation he didn't get the birthday candle celebration and dessert. Five other tables around us had bday celebrations and everyone there was celebrated and had a great experience from what we saw. I guess it is server dependent on how you are treated and ours was Keenan. I even asked the hostess and she just shrugged it off. In the future we recommend requesting Eko as the hibachi chef. Gratuity is included in your bill.

However, the past two times we shared this place with another couple who loves sushi just as much as my husband and I do. One reason we kept coming back, aside from all the delicious food, was how they labeled their menu with the top food allergens. As a food allergy mom, I appreciated this so much! Especially when I was still breastfeeding, I had to eliminate all of my daughter's allergies to breastfeed safely. The main ones I had to look out for was gluten, dairy, egg, nuts, and sesame seeds. The safe was aware of my limitations and shared empathy, not annoyance like other places. T Thankfully I'm out of that stage so I can eat anything on the menu now. We would like to take our daughter here some day, she loves sushi a lot! But being only 5 years old, we'll need to save it for a special occasion. We get carried away when we come here. The food here is top notch and worth every penny, so we'll have to save up. Cooked dishes we always order: Brussel sprouts, steamed mushrooms, hamachi collar and miso cod. All the nigiri/sushi is fresh and you can't ignore the specials or seasonal menu!

My husband found Robata & Sushi EBESU on Instagram, and it immediately caught his eye. Having lived in Hawaii, we ate sushi, sashimi, and poke on a regular basis. Finding spots like this allows us to create new memories while also feeling a bit nostalgic for the flavors we love. We might have gone a little overboard, but everything was incredible! We ordered the Crunchy Eel Roll, Hamachi Nigiri, and Tuna Nigiri, along with two of the EBESU Course menus. My husband had the Chirashi Don and I went with the Toro Tekka Don. Love, love, love. As you can see, it was a lot of food, but every single piece was cooked and cut to perfection. The dishes are very easy to share, and I think next time we'll lean into that more so we can sample even more of the menu. If you are looking for authentic, high-quality Japanese food, this is the place to go!

"Here is the best water in Plano," was an actual phrase I heard from Esther after I sat down and…read morewas greeted. Of course, that prompted me to ask, "What makes it the best water in Plano?" Esther told me they have a great filtration system and that it tastes wonderful. And frankly, I agree! This is very good water. It may sound like a small thing, but I appreciate details like this from a restaurant that takes its service seriously. I started with toro ($39) and Japanese snapper ($20), both in sashimi form. I love snapper, and this was quite good, with proper cuts that were not too thin or too thick and very generous portions. I also asked for fresh wasabi, so that was the only accompaniment I personally added. The snapper was fresh with no fridge burn, something I encounter far too often out in the world. The toro was good, just served slightly too cold for my preference, so I set it aside for a few minutes to warm up while I approached the rest of my substantial order. At one point, my server actually told me I had ordered enough and didn't need any more. She was probably right, however..... Next came the chef's choice sashimi platter ($35): salmon, yellowtail, tuna and escolar/white tuna, four pieces each. Man, I love escolar when it's fresh and properly cut! It has that springy firmness with a light, smooth, slightly buttery taste that just feels right. Yum. Next up were mackerel and eel (unagi) sushi, three pieces each served together. Very different flavors if you're newer to sushi, but I like them both. The mackerel is a little oily with a savory flavor mixed with a punch of vinegar and salt that makes it really interesting. The unagi brings that richer, sweeter contrast. OK, so I'm still eating... I also ordered the Caribbean roll and the Guns N Roses roll. What was I thinking? The Caribbean is a no-rice roll with mango, salmon, tuna, crab and avocado. Delicious, fresh and beautiful. Then came the Guns N Roses, my fresh fish roll, which somehow I still found room for. I had a 300 ml bottle of Horin Junmai Daiginjo ($49) with the meal, and it paired extremely well with my choices. I tend to avoid heavy mayonnaise-based dishes and prefer lighter flavors overall. In other words, I like to taste the fish. Horin is delicate enough that it complements that style of meal without competing with it. If you're ordering more sauce-heavy rolls, the house sake may make more sense. If you're going for the fish experience, though, this is a very good sake. At $49 it isn't inexpensive, so if you want to stay closer to $20 to $30 a bottle, I'd just ask them for the closest alternative. I absolutely recommend Sushi Sakana. Fresh fish, generous portions, good service, and some genuinely memorable dishes. And get extra water. Apparently it's the best in Plano, and I'm not arguing. PS: The restrooms were CLEAN! Such a huge thing for me. :)

I got gyoza and Katsu Don, and my partner got a Charashi Bowl and Red Clam sushi. The gyoza I'd say was above average and pleasantly crispy. The provided salad was pleasant with a strong citrusy ginger flavor. The Red Clam sushi had wasabi hidden underneath the meat, so keep that in mind if you're a spice baby like myself. My partner described the Charashi bowl as good, especially for the price. My Katsu Don is where I felt everything fell a little flat. It was overly sweet, the rice underneath tasted a bit stale and like nothing, and the katsu itself was a bit too moist and no longer crispy on the outside. However, I must note that it was an impressive $13, when I feel the usual is more like over $20, for a decent amount. The waitstaff brought us these lovely pre-peeled and cut oranges with the check and they were a nice touch to the meal. Overall we had a decent, pleasant experience here!
