Hibachi chicken, steak, shrimp and scallops
M C.

We had a great meal for our family's birthdays. First, the bar drinks were very good, and then seated, the typical appetizers. The show was enough for us, our cook was very friendly. The only thing a little disappointing was the fried rice you pay a few dollars extra for...it didn't have the veggies and eggs in it that other places cook in with it. But all said, love this place.

Lunch special Hibachi Chicken

We've been here many times--it's the place our 3yr old grandson learned to enjoy tofu with teriyaki sauce. Dine-In service--our usual--is spotty depending on whether their hibachi area is busy or not. Either way our order very usually is great. I tried the Sushi Deluxe for the first time and was very pleased with the presentation as much as the taste and portions. The fish is so very fresh, from sweet shrimp to salmon to scallops to tuna. My partner cannot have food that's greasy, and when she requests low oil the kitchen delivers (when it's not busy). We've been eating here for at least 5 years and have very seldom been disappointed. This is our go-to place for exceptional sushi!

We went for our son's bday celebration but despite putting that on our reservation he didn't get the birthday candle celebration and dessert. Five other tables around us had bday celebrations and everyone there was celebrated and had a great experience from what we saw. I guess it is server dependent on how you are treated and ours was Keenan. I even asked the hostess and she just shrugged it off. In the future we recommend requesting Eko as the hibachi chef. Gratuity is included in your bill.

The weirdest presentation of Agedashi Tofu ever:(

It was alright. Not authentic Japanese but more hibachi place. I tried the the non hibachi section with rolled sushi. People are drawn to the place as they open late.

My favorite Habachi restaurant from any of the states I've live in and frequented over the years. What sets it apart is the fried rice imo.

The hamachi carpaccio and soy garlic edamame had really nice sauces, although my friend thought the actual edamame wasn't cooked as perfectly as some other places cook theirs. The seared salmon roll was also really good, and the spicy tiger roll was good but a little spicier than I expected. Would definitely get again.

The presentation is beautiful! But the food itself was pretty lackluster for the cost. I got a variety set and my bf got the seared salmon set. Admittedly I've been to Aji-Kiji in San Francisco so my standards for boxed sushi omakase level was very high. Aji-Kiji was more elevated from the tiny building room to the food presentation, however the price was great too. Here it felt cheap in a few areas yet the price is the same level as them. The rice isn't the best and by extension, the rolls aren't perfect. I can get over that though, just picky due to the cost. Next, the fish was fishy. It was enough to make me worried if I could get sick. I ended up being fine, but honestly this place is just average sushi made to look better than it is

Dozo Sushi - Lots of interesting decor. They even have some Japanese whisky. We didn't try it though.

I got gyoza and Katsu Don, and my partner got a Charashi Bowl and Red Clam sushi. The gyoza I'd say was above average and pleasantly crispy. The provided salad was pleasant with a strong citrusy ginger flavor. The Red Clam sushi had wasabi hidden underneath the meat, so keep that in mind if you're a spice baby like myself. My partner described the Charashi bowl as good, especially for the price. My Katsu Don is where I felt everything fell a little flat. It was overly sweet, the rice underneath tasted a bit stale and like nothing, and the katsu itself was a bit too moist and no longer crispy on the outside. However, I must note that it was an impressive $13, when I feel the usual is more like over $20, for a decent amount. The waitstaff brought us these lovely pre-peeled and cut oranges with the check and they were a nice touch to the meal. Overall we had a decent, pleasant experience here!

Honestly, some of the best gyoza I've had. The Cherry Blossom Roll was beautifully plated and the portions of each roll will for sure fill you up. The ahi tower was delicious- I added ponzu sauce to cut some of the sweetness of the house sauce. Overall 5/5 stars

The rolls were fresh and tasty, and the fried lobster came out hot and crispy. The atmosphere was definitely a highlight -- nice for either a family dinner or a date night. I'd like to start by saying this is some of my favorite gyoza I've ever had, including when I visited Japan. This is a must get. The sauce was delightful, the outside was perfect with a crunchy bottom and soft top, and the filling was delicious. Well worth $7. My bf got some calamari ring tempura, which was fine but we got a small portion compared to when we usually get calamari. There was only like 3 big rings and 2 small on the plate. I also got a Gyu sushi to try. Was it worth $4.50? Maybe, maybe not but I enjoyed it and it was a much higher quality than the beef sushi at say Kura. Now my Beef Yakisoba was questionable honestly. Smaller portion than I'm used to, the beef tasted awkwardly like hamburg and was chewy, and the sauce it was stir fried in was really sweet and thick, almost like honey. Someone might like it but for $18 it wasn't what I expected and wasn't to my tastes Bf got a Charashi bowl for $25 and stated it was mid as expected for the price. I think we would return, but IMO our food was a mixed bag.
