    Avocado Skillet

The Mommy and I had to go to Patchogue. We were there longer than planned, and suddenly it was almost 2 pm! We asked some nice people where we should go for lunch, and they recommended Toast and Whiskey Neat. The Mommy chose Toast. It's a large, welcoming space. Soaring ceilings, lots of wood, and a full bar. Interesting, because they close at 3 pm. Very nice cocktail menu. We chose two different skillets from a quite extensive menu. The Mommy ordered a Garden something, and I had the Avocado. They were mixed up on delivery, so we inadvertently tried each other's. Both were delicious!! Portions are huge. We couldn't finish ours, and took the leftovers home. Service was cheerful and friendly. My cappuccino came in a huge cup and was delicious!

Ordered through Uber Eats so I cannot speak for the customer service. I got the Domingo skillet which is " creole scrambled eggs, pulled pork, fresh guacamole and tortilla chips". I got it without the cheese, it's pretty good. The "guacamole" is just sliced up avocados and a very small amount compared to the size of the skillet. The pancakes were free with my order and they were okay, seemed a bit stale but I didn't pay for it so.. I would be willing to try this place out in person.

Had brunch here on a weekday with our family of six. We were able to get a nice cozy booth table right away. Enjoyed their seasonal autumn specials. Service was friendly but it took a while for our food to arrive.

Great food. I love seeing what's on their seasonal menu. I've enjoyed a lot of their seasonal lattes!

If you're hungry for some brunch, this is your place to go!! First timer and man the food was amazing!! I had a nice Siracha Bloody Mary, with a Perfectly cooked grilled shrimp and bacon on it with a Lemon, celery and olives. Oh man. Heaven. Also had the trio with Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage and Home fries. Everything was cooked to perfection. My child had chocolate chip pancakes and my wife had corned beef hash and eggs with Hollandaise sauce and sweet potato fries. AMAZING! Would def come back again. Got here at 10AM on a Sunday to avoid the rush and wait was about 10 minutes. Our server was great also! Jaime I believe! Thank you Toast!!!

This Patchogue location is spacious compared to the other location in bayshore. Wait was short and the service was good even though busy on a Saturday morning. The chicken waffles could be better but I loved my French toast special.

Toast Coffeehouse is a tasty start to the tastebuds any day you have the time to really sit and enjoy their variety of offerings. When visiting on a weekend especially, definitely use their site to check out the wait and get on waitlist. Tried to see about calling in a reservation, but that is only for larger parties. This visit was to celebrate my best buddies birthday, so wait list 20 deep it was. Although if timed right it gives you time to drive there and really not wait too long. It also gives you the opportunity to mention that the waitlist reservation of sorts is for a special event. :) The location had that cozy, Coffeehouse feel. The two servers/runner we had that day were very attentive and always approached the table with smiles. There was only one small error on the beverage Mimosa flight, a duplication of one flavor, but they quickly brought the corrected one, to add to the mix. Also opted to try their fresh strawberry matcha iced tea, which was nice! Reminded me of a strawberry milk flavor as a kid vs being overly powered Matcha green tea, so balanced perfect. Since the portions are sizeable we decided to share/split two selections: Avocado toast app and the Krispy Nutella French Toast. They even brought out a small Funfetti pancake with a candle for the birthday girl. Both selections made/cooked perfectly and tasted fabulous. There is a lot to choose from so will have to go back again when in that area, or one of the other two locations on the island. Highly recommend the locations if you are a breakfast foodie. :)

Toast coffee house does a nice breakfast. They have a hard working staff, fun & decorative pictures on the wall & was an over all clean establishment. My breakfast was what I ordered, came out fast & tasted clean meaning my eggs & sausage weren't greasy. It was busy for a Wednesday but I can see why, definitely worth a trip.

Sunday brunch here a Toast Patchogue was pretty good. This location is bigger than the Bay Shore one so seating our party of 10 was no problem. My brunch go-to entree most of the time is chicken and waffles so of course I ordered that but the Tennessee chicken and waffles - cinnamon sugared sweet potato waffle with spicy honey fried chicken. The waffle was really good, but that chicken was far from spicy. It just seemed like it was one big oversized chicken tender. I could have done without it. They seem to have a good selection of items on the menu so I wouldn't mind returning to to try some of my other favs. The drinks were good, no complaints there. The service - we seated right away which was nice, no wait since we did have a reservation. Our waitress was nice, but there was a lag in bringing out the food and wrapping things up with collecting the check. It just seemed that took longer than normal especially since by the time we were done eating and they brought the check it wasn't busy. But nonetheless it was enjoyable.

Food is good and average, nothing extra-ordinary, but they are creative with their menu offerings. The place was busy but not completely full. Service was inattentive, couldn't get water refills, a missing fork, removal of dirty dishes or glasses to go containers, or even the bill. Skip the Iced coffee flight, it was $13 for mostly ice cubes and whipped cream and 2 tablespoons of flavored coffee in the tiny glasses. Skip the biscuit and gravy, biscuit crumbles apart, and the gravy has no flavor.

Parking is OK - there's street but all meters; about $2 for 2 hrs which isn't so bad. The food isn't as good as the Toast at the one in Bay Shore. The gravy is more watery here so I didn't enjoy it. The French toast was not as good as well. Everything else was about the same. It does feel more spacious though inside rather than packed like the Bay Shore location. Service is always great at all the Toast locations so far.

I've been to Main Street Patchogue a few times before and I'm always amazed at how it's now like Huntington, with tons of eateries, bars and places to hear live music. It was a busy late Spring Friday night and my cousin told me if we were there just two weeks later (ie, post Memorial Day), there would have been lines to get in anywhere. So make resos! I made one easily earlier that day and when we arrived around 7:30, it was not packed, but it is pretty loud in there even half full. Our waiter, Jonathan, expertly took such great care of us from start to finish, even taking my father's dad jokes in stride. There's a solid cocktail menu, but I had a couple glasses of a better-than-decent prosecco. My cousin loved his espresso martini. For food, count on a couple respectable vegan entrees and I went with the Japanese eggplant with cashew ricotta. The eggplant is delicious, slightly sweet with a creamy rather than chewy (thank god) texture. The cashew ricotta is also tasty, but I do think it needed to be blended a bit more to remove the slightly grainy texture (the cashews might have needed more soaking). My father loved his French onion soup and pastrami sandwich. Separate paragraph for the fries. They deserve it. I'm glad we ordered these to share- it's an enormous platter of them. I appreciated that they were salted perfectly. I appreciate restaurants that can make satisfy a variety of preferences and dietary restrictions. The vibe here is festive and vibrant and a great choice for groups and families.

So 2026 did not come in hot for me. My little romances with Italian Mr. Big and my half-Italian…read moreAiden? Yeah... both fizzled. On top of that, my damn car decided to up and die, so I've been bleeding money on Ubers just to get to and from work. I even had to go into work on my day off just to sit around waiting for the tow truck so they could junk it. Love that for me. After I handled business with the junkers, I said eff it and headed to Whiskey Neat. I was starving--no breakfast, running on fumes--and since my job's in Patchogue, I figured I'd finally try them for lunch. First of all... happy hour on a Saturday from 12-6?! Uhhh hello?? In my Angelina from Jersey Shore voice. And if you pay cash, you get the discount. Say less. They've got a fabulous small plates menu. I started with the French onion soup--ooey gooey mozzarella, cheese pull was undefeated. Soup was delicious too. I haven't had French onion in ages and it really hit. Then I had the pulled pork slider, which was really good, but BABY... those short rib croquettes? To. Die. For. I also had to get my classic deviled eggs. A little heavy-handed on the paprika, but still solid. Drinks were half off, so of course I indulged. Started with an espresso martini because I needed something to jumpstart my day. Then I had a French martini because duh--I'm a French girl ‍. That one was good. Finished with my classic cosmo. Not gonna lie, I've had better, but it did what it needed to do and helped me forget my troubles for a couple hours. Also great playlist of music. I got there and they were playing Ska. Love me some Reel Big Fish and No Doubt. Mixed with some Motown and Bob Marley. Made me remember the good old days.
