NO We had to check out the selections at Costco Macys Target TJ Max Penny's Our searching was over a few days my patience spent, Amazon would of been so easy, finally I said that was it for me no more. But somehow we missed Nordstrom Rack.It was 102 today when we entered the store located in the upscale Riverwalk Shopping Center. I liked Nordstrom the minute I felt the cool AC. Nordstrom is a large, open store featuring quality merchandise We looked in a lot of travel departments In all those stores. Nordstrom hands down had the largest selection of luggage sets, brand names many different sizes soft and hard cases most with the desired spinners. I was impressed. We were done no more shopping anywhere else or on Amazon. We easily decided on the Travel Pro brand, it had excellent reviews my set is grey my wife picked out a black set. Great price a friendly Andrew checked us out and explained the generous return policy. I didn't shop except for luggage I'll return after our vacation Check this store out.

This Nordstrom Rack has plenty of inventory it just happens to be average, overpriced items that can be found at the TJ Maxx right next door or somewhere between Marshalls and Kohls. Today was probably one of the few times that I actually was looking for a pair of shoes and they happen to be some hocus I don't believe Nordstrom Rack does price matching when they add their stickers to their products but a lot of their products are overpriced whether something is on sale or not is debatable. Today I was looking for On clouds or Hokas for my upcoming trip. The Nordstrom Rack usually has comparable prices to online at the on store or even the Hoka store but after researching several items including the one in the pictures below there's no reason to shop at Nordstrom Rack anymore, instead shop online and save 10 to 20%. I really do understand sales price meaning Hoka can run better sales in most cases as the manufacturer but most items are overpriced in Nordstrom Rack. Ralph Lauren polo shirts two to three years old are still running $70 even more expensive than the outlet price, basically Nordstrom Rack is overpriced in my opinion and this one in Bakersfield has given me reason to continue to go.

My biggest find was the light pink BOGG brand bag for $39.99. It came with an internal pouch. You can shop for your entire family from youngest to oldest. The pricing is reasonable and there are sales often. It is so convenient to have a Sephora on the property. One of the great conveniences for me is being able to do Amazon returns here. The only weird thing is they keep moving that location to different parts of the store. It's like a treasure hunt.

When I went to pay, I realized I had more than 10 items, so the quick check out was not an option. There were two regular check out lines open. Both with huge lines. The line I picked never moved after 15 minutes of waiting. The second line open turned its light off and was closed. I stood in the non moving line for about 10 minutes more. No other lines opened during that time and I was over it. I left my cart and walked out. I could not believe that 2 lines open was acceptable practice. Especially during a time when there were 6 people ish per line. Today was the first time I've ever left a cart. I felt embarrassed, but was more embarrassed for Target and their crappy management!

N o problem unless dealing with a 20 to 30 lb bag of rice and beans that is a little over the top but when I have those items I choose to go through the lines where the workers will remove those items, They also have the best Meats in the business if you don't believe try them for yourself go for the prime select Meats,as the choice is good but the marbling on the prime steaks and ribeye are Bar None to many meat market I have ever been to. Costco also has the snack bar which is outside the store and the only downfall with that is they have six to eight machines outside and only two to three work which is not a problem during most of the day but around noon and around 5:00 p.m. they're super crowded and you're dealing with a lot of people who act like they've never been to Costco and can't pick what they want so it takes a lot longer to get to one of those machines. The upside is when you do get to the counter the step is really quick and friendly and make sure your order is complete before they send you on your way with a smile.
