I had the worst shopping experience ever today at the local Lululemon store. I scheduled an appointment for noon, during my lunch hour. I confirmed my appointment at 11:30am. I leave work and arrive at the store at 12:07pm. I checked in with the person at the door and she told me I was late for my appt and that I would be canceled or skipped. I explained to her that I was on my lunch hour and I had to drive there. She kept going on about how i should have texted or called if I was going to be late. She would not stop. There was a person in line behind me that heard the whole thing. I had to stop the check in person and ask her if I can go in or not. I walked in then she proceeded to tell the customer behind me that she had to wait because I was late. I spoke with the manager regarding the whole situation, which she did not apologize for or seem to care at all. This is the last time I will shop at our local store. I had asked a friend at work where to shop for my wife for work out clothing and she suggested this store. I went straight to Yelp to find the had a low rating mainly due to customer service. Not sure why because my experience what awesome. This store was once the Bakersfield Scuba location which appears that they took over the business that was next door because from my memory it's a lot bigger. The store was absolutely packed with shoppers and staff that was working there. At first it was hard to tell the difference because other than the few guys that were in there everyone was in yoga pants. I was promptly created by a cheerful eager to make my experience a good one young lady. I told her what I was looking for and within 5 to 10 minutes I had an outfit purchased for my awesome wife. I can see why my friend at work likes this store so much, between the awesome customer service and great selection of clothing for both men and women you could easily spend your pay check her. Hopefully everything fits so my wife doesn't some and spend more lol Awesome job!!! For those that gave them one star you should give them a second chance and update you review. read more

Summary: bad customer service, stained merchandise, unprofessional I love lululemon and shop there regularly. I completely understand due to COVID-19 procedures are altered but this is just disappointing. I walk up to the store and I'm not greeted or acknowledged in any way. I ordered for pickup and they took up to 10 minutes to find my bag, it's unprofessional. Because I ordered pickup I didn't directly choose my items; and my white headband has a black smudge AND a makeup stain. My white shorts also have a small black smudge. Disappointing. read more

So I don't really consider myself a "regular" Lululemon customer. Don't get me wrong, I love their clothes but it's almost like I can't go in there all the time since one visit will easily set me back $300. So our Lululemon has weird hours because it's a pop up store. And I guess we're still in a trial mode on if we get them as a permanent store (Is what I've heard through the grapevine). So I don't think it's really fair to dock them stars for something the local store can't control. Considering I'm not a regular and staff doesn't know me by name, I've been treated with excellent customer service each and every time. Im always greeted and I'm always asked if I had any questions or need any help. But my most recent visit is what's prompting me to write this review. It was the normal hi, how are you? Let us know if you need any help. Are you finding everything okay? And let me start a fitting room for you. I never ask for help, I just like to browse and do my thing. But I was hunting for a certain color, which lead to more question asking which lead to the girl who helped me specially find pants for running. She strongly encouraged a couple of styles and took the ones I had in my hand away. Apparently I had picked a pair that would be too hot and a bad choice for running lol. She also told me if I didn't like the styles she picked, I can easily exchange them. Needless to say I've ran several times in my new leggings and they've been holding up fantastic. They never sag, fall, or ride up on the legs. Anyone who runs knows it's a terrible feeling when you're running and your pants are starting to sag. It's so annoying to have to worry about them and constantly pull them up throughout your run. Overall, I think quality is worth the price and customer service. I hope we continue to support them so they stay forever with longer days and hours. read more

I had a $50 gitftcard, which doesn't get you much at this high-end shop. I get it, comfort and quality in the fitness industry is a big, and expensive, ordeal! I got a pair of Align pants, which one of the employees stated is their "best seller". I stood in a long line with one register. Well, turned out most of the people standing in the line were returning merchandise. Red flag? Being that I was purchasing, they used their little phone scanner to ring me up, but the receipt would not print from that device. Seeing all these people making returns, YES, I wanted my receipt. So I had to wait and here is where they lose some stars. Eye rolls and bad attitudes (from Susie) are not friendly customer service. Acting like you're doing me a favor to print a receipt? Um...I just spent $100 on one pair of pants! I'm the one doing the favor! Had I not had a gift card, NO way would I ever shop here. You can bet I'll be wearing the hell out of these "best sellers" to get my money's worth! read more

The store hours are odd, nobody asks if you need help or even greets you when you walk inside, and they don't take cash. The reason I have them two stars is because their inventory is great for such a small store. read more

I walked in tried on 6 different pairs of pants I was debating what I wanted for a good amount of time. I got to the register to find out I wasted my time because they didn't take cash and that's all I had on me at the time. Would've been nice to know that sooner .. This was one of the worst shopping experiences I've ever had I understand the appointment times and everything but when we show up to an appointment we have to wait 15 to 20 minutes to get in until someone's done shopping nobody greeted us nobody helped us, I was with my mother and she has Hispanic and the girl working the cubbies of the leggings wouldn't let her near the leggings and I don't know if it was racial profiling but something of that was not very settling, the vibe in there was very awkward and very rude not one person talked to help me it was overall a very negative experience and I don't think I'll be shopping back at that Lululemon. Not one person was nice to me in that whole store and there were five workers standing around talking in on their phones the entire time and when I'd walk near a worker she would walk away on her phone and talk to the guy who was running the appointment times. It's safe to say that the employees pretty much thought that they were better than us or their job, I don't think I'll ever be back I'll just stick to ordering online. read more

Love lululemon but this store did not give me any type of good experience. Took me 10 minutes to get someone's attention to ask a question despite there being at least 5 employees working in the studio apartment sized store, and when I did get their attention, they were all incredibly snobby and rude, including who I believe was the manager. I love this store! Being that I am a huge fitness and health advocate Lululemon has become my go to store! The clothing is amazing, and I have never come across workout clothes SO comfortable, fitting, and flattering! All of the girls at Lululemon Bakersfield are amazing, so sweet, complimenting and always make sure I leave happy. Some of the clothing I've purchased with Lulu, I've experienced some minor stitching issues, but they were quick to fix them with absolutely no hassle. Complementary hemming is included at Lululemon, whether you buy in store or online. The only reason why I didn't write a 5-star was because hours are always changing and of course Lululemon clothing can be a bit expensive, but have quickly noticed it's worth it! Thank you! read more
