This place has been in this shopping center for 20 + years. My husband loves this place. They have pro club shirts up to 5XL. They have socks, scrubs, hats, NFL gear and more. I've gotten my scrubs at this place a few times. They carry heartsoul break scrubs and i think they're the cutest. My husband loves their hat selection and of course the pro club shirts. They have two or three dressing rooms. The aisles in the store are a bit snug and they have their boxes of merchandise around the store so sometimes tou have to squeeze through to get around. They are a bit strict when it comes to trying on clothes because of people getting the clothes dirty which makes sense. read more

Not allowing service animals in the store. People have service animals for all kinds of reasons, and to get kick out of a store because you have a service animal that is wrong. Do you kick people out if they dont look at certain way, I don't think so because there money is as green as regular costumer? I call that discrimination in different ways. I'm really disappointed with Sportswear. I went in to exchange a shirt that I never wore, still had the tags on, and I even had the receipt. The employee claimed there was a "stain" on it which wasn't there when I bought it or when I brought it in. They refused to exchange or refund it even though it was clearly in new condition. There was a little bit of lint on the shirt, but there was clearly no stains. The worker even brought out another shirt telling me that they don't sell clothing with stains. I found that very rude. I accepted that they weren't going to return my shirt so I decided to leave. I wasn't going to give them my time of day. Never going back. read more

I found this store online, I talked to a guy online and he gave me all the information to the store. (Store addy, hours, phone number etc.) This store is really cool for many reasons... There's so many sports teams jerseys, jackets, sweaters, plenty of hats for cheap, wide variety of everything to choose from, they have girls clothing usually all on sale, sports anything from blankets, mugs, etc. They also have work uniforms there from dickies to scrubs. The front has an area with shoes. In the middle of the store they have kids clothing sizes. When you enter the store an employee gives you a spray of hand sanitizer. All the staff I interacted with were very cool and very helpful with any questions. Nobody was rude, the girls that work there were very nice. I would recommend this store to anyone, you will get some killer deals and real nice clothes. Perfect place to shop for the holidays. Ordered New York jersey. Logo alignment on one side of shirt was a full 1/2 inch lower than the other side. SportyMart claims that is within "spec" and would not refund or exchange. Unlike their website image which is perfect. Obviously,don't stand behind their products. read more

Went to the store 2 days ago to find a hat for my husband and they had 30 mins before closing time. As we were wandering around one of the employees yells out "yall got 10 mins, hurry up we wanna go home" I couldn't believe she really said that out loud? Like who does that? That's very unprofessional especially being a sells person. And as I'm still looking at the hats another employee asked me if I was ready? When I was clearly not even in line yet. I've never felt so rushed to shop. Like do they not understand you get paid, because people shop there. And as I was paying she seemed very annoyed. Worst customer service and jersey quality I have ever come across. The jersey I ordered was made of poor material, and was not sized correctly. I attempted to exchange the jersey in for a larger size, but was refused. Again, was not trying to return or get a refund - they wouldnt even allow me to exchange the jersey (this was not a custom order either). Their website talks about their refund & exchange policy at the top but do not honor it. Additionally, follow ups took days and they never answered their phone. HORRIBLE customer service. They left an ink tag and sensor on a tiny onesie. I noticed the sensor on the shirt while wrapping the gift. I went during Christmas time, and am pissed I have to drive back for their mistake, in holiday traffic, for them to remove the sensor. At that time, they asked for a receipt for them to remove the sensor. They have these kids play bodyguard at the front, so I tell them, "Is the receipt necessary? Your employee at the front clearly saw me walk in with the original bag." They were insisting I needed the receipt for them to remove the sensor. Luckily, I had the receipt, still. At that time, I informed them that their machines at the door obviously do not work, since I was able to walk out when I purchased the onesie, without the alarm being set off. Fast forward to my cousin opening the gift for my little cousin to wear, to find that an ink sensor was hidden in the booties. So, I offer to take them back to have the ink tag removed. Knowing I'm being watched like a hawk once I enter, I show the front little bodyguard that I'm walking in with the booties and that I need the tag removed. He sends me over to the front desk, and this is where I become the former customer. The front desk, obviously doing what they're told, tell me I need a receipt for the ink tag to be removed. I told them I no longer have it as it was a Christmas gift, and I was already here back in December, to have their first mistake, fixed. They insisted I have a receipt for them to be able to help me. I then stated that it was ridiculous that I needed a receipt for an ink tag to be removed from BOOTIES (probably worth 1-2 dollars alone), given that this was THEIR MISTAKE, and that this was MY SECOND TIME THERE, for THEIR MISTAKE. The owner, Susy, comes out and explains that it's policy, and that I would have to show them proof from my bank statements that I made the purchase, so that they could verify from their receipts, to match the date/price/purchase. For booties???? Seriously??? I stood in there, scrolling and scrolling my purchases to go all the way back in December, to prove to her, that I did in fact, buy the booties. I have been a longtime customer, and have spent a lot of money on hats for numerous friends and family at this place, because it's local. I will no longer give my business to this place. What a joke. All of this work, and I probably could have walked into Macy's and they would've removed the tag, no questions asked. read more

This place is terrible! There's a guard in the front watching you like a hawk while you come in, and I'm like OH PLEASE, like I'd steal any of this cheap garbage. I was looking through everything, and nothing is organized. There'd be a football jersey hung up next to a hockey jersey-and that's in the baseball section! The stuff there looks like a truck dumped it off at the landfill and they brought it back to the store to sell. And yes, they were even this terrible before all this COVID stuff started happening. This is a great place to get almost anything with your favorite sports teams logo on it, no matter who your favorite sports team is. First of all, the place is huge, so it is better stocked than any place in a mall. They have all kinds of teams you can't just buy anywhere, like the Miami Dolphins, The Blue Jays! The variety of items is incredible, team snuggies, team Christmas stockings, and of course hats, beanies shirts etc. I don't even watch sports, but we have been Christmas shopping for gifts for people who do and this place was a good find. Another thing, and I thought it was hilarious, they have a small selection of jewelry, and you can get "661" earrings. You know, the area code for Bakersfield! Terrible Service. I came to the store to do an exchange on 3 pairs of Dickie pants. The management inspected the pants in and out for about 15 mins. They accused me of wearing the pants although all the tags were intact and you could still see that the pants were crisp.
