I've tried to eat here four times. One of the four times there was no parking anywhere within walking distance. I drove around for 15mins before giving up. The other three times, they were not open even though it was during their posted business hours. I'm giving up. I heard this spot has seriously good breakfast. Such a bummer.

Asada Tostadas and shrimp taco

This is a cute little spot for breakfast burritos or a quick lunch break if you're in the area. The food is made fresh and served fast, with large portions. I'm a big eater and made the mistake (or blessing) of ordering two things on the menu..and yes, I finished it all, but I was stuffed! Definitely worth your buck. I came on a weekday hoping to try their ceviche, but it's only available on Sundays. So instead, I ordered the shrimp tacos and an asada tostada, both were so good! Next time, I'll probably re-order the tostada; it reminds me of home. They offer mild or spicy salsa on the side.. of course I went for spicy (because that's the only way to go), and yes, it's actually spicy! There's only outdoor seating, and it's pretty limited, so it's more of a take-out spot. Also, Just a heads up: they only take cash, Zelle, or Cash App.

Service was great! I was immediately greeted by the young lady and young man working. I ordered a chorizo and bacon breakfast burrito with sour cream for - $14.00 ! Burrito was huge, tasty and they weren't skimpy on anything! Nothing special about the ambiance, the restaurant is more like a deli only a counter, refrigerator with drinks and the kitchen. Nice clean tables and chairs are outside.

BEST breakfast burrito in Long Beach, and I mean that with my whole heart. I have lived here for 5 years and just tried this place for the first time... $12 for a GIANT burrito -- I split it with my girlfriend and we added cheese and sour cream so it was $14 and worth every penny.

*** Cash only but accept Zelle or Cash app *** Tito's Restaurant is one of local neighborhood Mexican take-out only eateries located near The 4th Street Corridor (aka Retro Row) in Long Beach. This burrito shop has a surprisingly active Instagram page. [Parking]: Street parking only and parking can be next to impossible even if visitors come as early as shop opening time. I did manage to find one street parking spot about one block away (Orange Ave). [Amenities]: There are only two small outdoor patio tables with no indoor seating. No public restroom. [Menu]: This shop is known for breakfast burrito with different protein options including no meat, chorizo (popular option), ham, bacon, sausage, and shredded beef. Other options include chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, quesadillas, tostadas, tacos, spoes, mulitas, and regular burritos. I just tell the staff I want *** insert protein *** burrito with everything. On sunday they offer ceviche menu. *** Asada burrito (eggs, beans, potato, onion, cilantro, hot sauce - $10 with addition $1 add on for cheese, sour cream, avocado): Classic bean and egg burrito and the size is HUGE with enough for two separate meals. Unfortunately flavor profile was alright and mild salsa was also mediocre. *** A great spot for anyone who looking for a budget friendly burrito that can (1) fill your stomach and (2) doesn't taste too bad, but there are better breakfast burrito options in Long Beach for those who are willing to pay few additional bucks.

That's a damn fine breakfast burrito! Stiff competition for breakfast burritos in this area, but this one definitely rises above. I was skeptical about all the hype, but this burrito delivers. Only $10! What a value! It's larger than a dollar bill in length and width and even half of it filled up an entire glass lock container. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito meat option, and it was very good. There's great spice level in the burrito itself and the spicy salsa is actually spicy. I can tolerate a good amount of spice so I'm always disappointed when the "hot" sauce isn't that hot. The burrito is filled to the brim with eggs, cheese, potatoes, chorizo, onion, cilantro and beans. Sometimes beans and potatoes can be used as a filler to add less eggs and meat, but not here. They are just a little accent and the beans just barely smear the tortilla like a condiment, so they don't overpower the rest of the ingredients and it adds in a wonderful flavor to the overall mix in the burrito. Staff was nice and friendly and there was no line. I hope to come back and try the ceviche, tortas, and some of the other menu items.

Breakfast burrito with meat, eggs avocado cheese and sour cream. HUGE (top of cell for scale) GO!

No fuss. Happy staff. EXCELLENT Breakfast burrito. One fed the two of us 2x in one day. Highly recommend!

This little gem of a spot feels like a home away from home. Very clean with outdoor seating! Family-run and full of heart, the food is rich with flavor! Great customer service, very friendly and welcoming! Would definitely come back! 10/10

Chorizo breakfast burrito

These are the best breakfast burritos in LBC!! I'm dead serious! These burritos are HUGE for the price you pay!! They're packed full of eggs, potstoes, and beans. I probably could have used a little more chorizo in my burrito, but I'm not complaining because it truly is so good! I got my coworker the shredded beef one and she agreed, SO GOOD! Yes, the parking is not great. But it's totally worth it. Look how massive this thing is even after I took like 4 bites! Just an fyi, they only accept cash, cash app, or Zelle.

Chorizo Burrito

Unfortunately I was highly unimpressed with my breakfast burrito from here. The chorizo was very mild with not much flavor and the rest of the burrito had no flavor. It was left up to the salsa to add flavor. I'm not writing this place completely off. I will return and try something else at a later date and update my review then. However, a plus is that the burritos are HUGE! (see pic)

Flan is amazing
Ben L.

Had the breakfast burrito with bacon and all the extras; a huge cup of flan - it's a 16 oz cup and 3/4 full and is delicious as was the burrito. I could only eat half of it and enjoyed every bite of both! The service is always great; I'm a neighbor and they treat me well. There's sidewalk service including a table for the disabled. It's family owned and operated and I love to support the community. If you haven't eaten here yet please be sure to stop by check it out-you will not be disappointed!

A very welcoming vibe upon entry, we were greeted by a friendly couple who answered our questions about popular drink flavors. We decided to go with a Hot Cinnamon Dulce Latte and an Iced Blueberry Lavender Latte. While waiting, there were plenty of chairs, tables, a comfy couch and even a bar area to sit and relax. Tons of board games, books and wonderfully mellow music helps make the experience feel comforting and inviting. Our drinks were prepared quickly and shouted at the coffee bar for pickup. The presentation was great, but the flavors, out of this world! The Cinnamon Dulce Latte was OUTSTANDING. So good, in fact, that my girlfriend stole it from me! Not to worry, her Blueberry Lavender Latte was also top-notch, with a smooth, not-to-sweet flavor combination. I started with a cup of their beef and barley soup. My wife and I both make this at home from scratch and we're both impressed by theirs. My wife took a taste of mine and instantly ordered her own. Very rich and flavorful. I kept looking at photos of their take on chicken and waffles and knew I had to try it. Seriously epic and was good as it looked. They coated the chicken in a chili rub that gave it a sweet and spicy flavor when paired with their maple syrup. Served on top of a waffle and topped with an egg. I loved it and would probably order again on my next visit. My wife had the American plate which was your classic eggs, bacon, potatoes, and sourdough toast combo. High quality ingredients elevated it beyond your typical diner food. Drinks were great too. I had their house made bloody mary which had a nice kick to it. My wife had their brunch version of a Corpse Reviver cocktail. After our meals were done we finished with an Irish coffee since everyone was ordering them. TLDR; It's expensive, and not worth the routine visit, but worth the one-time stop in to experience the festivities. The Miracle pop-up at The Ordinarie is somehow even more decorated and extravagant than you'd expect from a seasonal pop-up. The line looks long outside, as there are no reservations, but it moves quickly since they hold everybody to a pretty strict 2-hour time limit. The drinks are good, the cups are cute, and everyone is festive. It's an all-around fun experience.  I think because of this, you do pay a premium price tag for food and drinks that are just good or okay. I think it's something that is worth the visit if you've never been and you enjoy getting into the Christmas spirit. I think that outside of the pop-up, The Ordinarie is a fun spot to check out in Long Beach. It't not a pillar of the food scene if you're a tourist, but it is a good, late night spot if you work in the industry nearby. They have a great late-night menu with a killer smash burger.

The vibe has shifted toward a more minimalist coffee cafe aesthetic, and the menu has seen a significant overhaul. The Food & Value: I was disappointed to see the old favorites go. The Chicken & Waffles, previously a staple with three wings, has switched to dark meat only (thighs) with zero substitutions. As someone who isn't a fan of dark meat, that was a major letdown. I opted for the Lemon Pancakes ($21), and while the presentation was stunning, the taste was underwhelming and the portion size was surprisingly small--my son's kids' meal actually had more food than mine. The Silver Lining: The service is still the highlight here. Our server, Jorge, was absolutely fantastic--attentive, kind, and professional. The entire staff was very nice, but unfortunately, the price point doesn't quite match the current portion sizes or flavor profile. It's sad to say, but this will likely be our last visit but best wishes to them

Bristy, our server, thoroughly explained the details of certain dishes such as the Mac & Cheetos. She also checked in on our table throughout the meal and came around often to refill our water. As for the food itself, it was very delicious. My favorite dish was the artichokes. They had a somewhat smoky flavor and the outermost leaves were crunchy and a nice contrast to the soft inside of the artichokes. They were also served in a tangy sauce that complimented the vegetable well. My friend's favorite item was the macaroni and cheese. It was chewy and creamy, and the pasta, which Bristy informed us was made in-house, was what my friend thought elevated the dish because it was a nice texture. We additionally ordered the gumbo which was also tasty but not as yummy as the other two dishes that we ordered. It is not a spicy dish if one is concerned about spice level. As for the ambiance of the restaurant, we enjoyed how the atmosphere felt casual and almost like you were sitting in somebody's house (the wallpaper and interior design is pretty) while still maintaining an elegant aesthetic design. There is inside seating what looks like a converted house? There is outside seating at tables or at the bar. The menu was interesting which had a theme of shrimp; there was eggs Benedict with shrimp, but not an item to order a regular one without it? Sure maybe could have ordered and asked without shrimp but pay the same price? Pass. Ok when I called they mentioned they serve brunch until 3? 3:30 I can't remember. The server mentioned they serve the brunch all day? Either way when I got to ordering this month on the menu it highlighted the shrimp po boy. I tried to order and nope, out. How can you be out of the item highlighted as the special in the middle of the day? When the place is not packed? I tried to order the lobster roll and again, out. I was tempted to order their short rib poutine since in theory it sounded good, but at this point I tried something simple I would hope they have in the kitchen chicken and waffles. The plate came and it looks good. If you look at the picture at the bottom of the chicken you can see a dark something. As I lift my chicken I found a huge burnt piece of breading pictured next. On top of the chicken is green onion I think? Who eats that with chicken and waffles? If I am wrong, a garnish is totally unnecessary for this dish. The chicken was moist. There are spices in the flour breading I can see but hard to taste what it is. The waffle is a hard pass for me. The waffle was crispy which is good, but also thin and dry and I couldn't taste any sweetness until I put maple syrup on it. The syrup came out warm which was nice. It's clear watching the people at the bar this is a local hangout. The chicken and waffles were $19 which if I was in the bay I think it's about right, but I think a little high considering the level of food I got. Supposedly this place is packed specifically on Sundays. The server doesn't know why? I'm not interested to even try to come back for a second chance and just be told sold out of the menu.
