We've walked our dog past this taco stand so many times and last night, we finally made it a point to try them out. I wasn't starving so I made a salad at home and ordered one of their giant crusty burrito and split it with my guy. I ordered it with asada and added guacamole. The cheese melted on the outside of the burrito was an interesting touch. The burritos here are pretty big and filling and delicious. The stand itself is pretty unassuming, almost hiding behind a boxing gym. You know it's good because there's always a line. Employees here are nice and efficient. I'd try to get there a little early as 10-20 minutes after they open, a significant number of people have started to line up. We're lucky to have a culture of street vendors in Long Beach... do yourself a favor and make it a point to support this one. read more

Heard about this spot and finally had to check it out. Here's how our experience went. AMBIANCE Feels: They do catering so they may be at different spots. This is their general location at the moment, a tent on 4th street in front of Casa de Luxe. Thus its street parking and paid plaza parking. Not much spots to post up and eat, moreover a grab and go or if you want to stand, eat, and enjoy the vibes. FOOD: Flacco Burritto (Recommend) The famous cheese skirt-wrapped burrito! Just lovely, they don't shy on the cheese. Super savory so be sure to cover it up with some sauce and all other condiements. Very fulfilling from the meats, rice, and other ingredients inside. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Cool people but very casual. They enjoy cooking and taking care of people, it took a while to get my order so I'd just recommend to chill out and enjoy the 4th Street ambiance in the meantime. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. Great! Great selections, delicious food, large portions, reasonable price, and delicious food. First off check their Instagram for their location!! Went to the location on Yelp & it was wrong! Anyway it was worth the 15 extra minutes to get to their location. The beef crunchy burrito was incredible because of the melted cheese around the burrito. It's sort like a crispy layer that enhances the flavor of the burrito. The way they grill the cheese on the burrito here is a game changer for sure! At first, the burrito looked about medium sized but it was almost so big I could not handle it towards the end. TLDR - Eat here at your own risk, but don't be shocked if you get sick. Wow, I thought the attitude we received was a 1-off, maybe a bad day, maybe stress, but nah, just read the owner's responses. The people in charge of this establishment don't seem to care they might get people sick, but they have a chip on their shoulder if you bring it to their attention. Between touching the counters, touching bags, touching sauces, touching tongs, touching and adjusting their mask, and touching the limes and cilantro all with his bare hands, we did not see them wash their hands once. Other reviews mentioned they have gloves, guess we came on a bad day. Couldnt tell you if the food tasted good, after seeing the conditions of how it was made, we paid our money and disposed of the food. Somehow wanting sanitary conditions makes you a "Karen". Watch out for the red challenger. Anyway I hoped the food would be good. I arrived to see a line of people and easily had to wait 30 minutes or so to get my food. Because of covid I took my food home. I'm going to be honest, I considered throwing it away before even tasting it. I noticed they were wearing gloves, but see them being swapped after handling money and the phone being used to take orders. Pretty cool guys running the stand, easy going and chill. You serve condiments yourself, but if you've ever had real street tacos you should know it's always like this. The tacos themselves were ok IMO. If you're looking for legit tacos you'll be let down but if you love chipotle you'll be fine. I personally wouldn't go back for tacos because I'm picky about my tacos, but they'll do the job if you're hungry. Maybe it was the cheese or maybe the meat itself, or maybe just a bad day considering I dropped by towards the end of their day, but the tacos were a little too salty and the meat was a bit dry. I haven't tried their burritos, so I can't speak on those. If you love tacos from a taquero, I'd say keep looking. If you're looking for tacos from a taco stand, live a little and give em a try. You can't beat $1 tacos and on top of that, they're bomb asf. He marinates and cooks the meat from scratch and also makes the salsa verde and rojo from scratch too.
