Man, TipTop Cafe totally made our Space Needle trip. We went up mostly for the views (obviously), but ended up staying way longer because the spot is just so nice. The 360-degree panorama is insane. We split the apple pie and it was legitimately one of the best I've had in Seattle. Warm, not too sweet, crust was flaky and buttery, apples had that perfect soft, but, still have some bite thing going on. Paired with the view it was stupid good. Love the whole vibe they've got going, kinda retro-futuristic. Clean lines, fun little spacey touches, but nothing cheesy. Felt modern and chill at the same time. Service was no-nonsense in the best way. Friendly, quick, didn't hover, didn't make us feel rushed even though it's a high-traffic spot. We went for the Pies & Pints after 4pm promotion ($35 per person, which includes your ride up the Space Needle) and tried the wagyu beef BBQ pie. Overall, it was a delicious, savory snack. The BBQ sauce inside made it a bit messy, but very flavorful. While most of the beef was tasty, a few pieces were slightly chewy. Still, it's a great deal if you're looking for something fun and different to do. Pro tip: We arrived right at 4pm and it was already packed. The counter near us mentioned they ran out of pies around 5pm, which led to about a 20-minute wait. This happened a couple of times while we were there, so definitely go early if you're hungry. It's not every day that you can eat a little camp pie almost 700 feet in the air. We were hungry and decided to pick up a beef wagyu hand pie and a chorizo breakfast hand pie. The beef hand pie needed the meat to be chopped up a bit more. It was very hard to bite through and the meat was chewy to eat. The chorizo breakfast hand pie was delicious! I decided to try one of their tip top pies and went for the wagyu beef BBQ pies. This was a first for me to try, different way of enjoying a meat "pie" The middle of the pie had a large piece of wagyu beef with great flavors surrounded by this BBQ sauce. For a snack, this was very savory and I felt full afterwards. I enjoyed my pie while viewing the city from up top of the space needle. Service was slow during the time I was there, only one cashier was assisting and it would take sometime before she could move on to the next customer. Super quick service, and surprisingly quality food. Lots of options, both sweet and savory. Though no GF pie options as far as I could tell. My friend was super impressed by the wagyu beef pie, said it was notably moist, flavorful, and tender. The soft serve is flavored by the outside swirl, and there were a ton of options. I feel the pies are decently priced but felt the drinks and even the water bottle is overpriced due to its location. Quick service despite there's only one person working. Off to the food review! 3.7/5 - Apple Pie - Eat these as fast as possible. As when it's flaky and crispy it is at its best. One bite I felt the coldness of being on top of the needle and outside is worth it. Sweet chunks of apple with each bite, but I felt a bit more cinnamon would have pushed the pie to the next level. Only choice really of a place if you are hungry or parched, but nothing special that you need to stop by. The only reason why I risked my sanity to ride the open air elevator all the way up the Space Needle was to check this pie place out! My kids and I were in town looking for touristy things to do. They mentioned the Space Needle. I was planning to talk them out of it when I saw on the website that on the top of the space needle, is the best mini pies in town. I was sold. It was a very scary ride up and when we got to the top, the kids went out to explore the scenery, while I was glued to the wall. I smelt coffee so I inched my way to where the smell was coming from. As I got closer I can smell pies coming out of the oven. I ordered coffee, peach pie and apple pie. ALL was delicious! I would love to get another one next time I am in town, but I really can't do that elevator and height again, so I'll have to get someone to go up there and pick one up for me . lol read more

At the top of the space needle. It is just a little shop but gets very busy. They sell pies both sweet and savory and cinnamon rolls. You can get them with ice cream as well. They also sell drinks. The pore was great crispy light crust and packed with fruit! We got the cherry pie but they also have Apple and rhubarb strawberry and some meat pies. The I've cream was so good and smooth. Highly recommend. You can sit and look out of the tower while you eat it. read more

What a hidden gem!! I really love how smooth and creamy the ice cream is. I got the strawberry + raspberry with a sweet cream base and it was delicious. The ice cream color is gorgeous. I definitely tasted the fresh raspberry seeds but I think freeze dried strawberries were used whereas I would've preferred fresh. The employees were super kind and helpful. Wow, the pie was actually delicious! Got the champagne chicken pie, and it was incredibly tasty. Honestly thought it was going to be some crap pastry up-charging tourist fees as a cafe at the top of Space Needle. But no! It was a deliciously flavored flakey pastry, and I would definitely get it again if I ever stop by Space Needle again.
