I'd come here more often, but the traffic and parking are just real bad. They've got a really good beer selection. The tap list isn't bad, but the cans and bottles are really where they shine. I got a Lucky Envelope pumpkin emoji draft and then wandered around staring at all the beers in the cases. I grabbed the four I wanted most and having finished my pint I took off before I decided I needed more beer. The place has a lot of seating for it's size. It's really well kept. The lady behind the counter was pleasant. All in all it was a good experience. The selection is really where they shine.

No heating elements necessary on this day as it was hot and humid in this early afternoon. I was impressed by their board that lists everything on tap with ABV and IBU as well as prices for all ranges of sizes that they offer. They had 2 stout options and I tried a 5 oz. Extra Loud Irish Stout Nitro ($3.50). Lady bartending was friendly enough and answered questions well, although my 5 oz was 4 oz of foam when she handed it to me, so patience before drinking was necessary. If you like Guinness, it very much reminded me of that, although I prefer my stout more sweet and less coffee-esque.

One of the best bottle shops in the country!…read more I've had many of Bottleworks' anniversary beers in the past because they always team up with stellar breweries to make them.. but before today I have never visited the famous shop. It's smaller than I imagined it to be but every beer inside, from the draft list to the cans and the bottles are carefully curated by the staff. We grabbed a quick beer (Hill Farmstead, which is the first time I've seen this brewery for sale in the since I started this trip 6 weeks ago and Ive been through 4 states) Then we shopped for some cans, we quickly had to refrain from buying too much as the refrigerator in our van only holds so much. We ended up with a six pack and then grabbed a mystery 4 pack on the way out (mystery 4 pack was stellar). While we're shopping they opened a sour from Jester King and shared it with us. I honestly wish I lived a bit closer (Las Vegas is kinda far) because I'd be here everyday... Honestly, they have a whole cooler just for barley wine! The staff are very knowledgeable about beer and are very hospitable. Thanks for a great experience!

Came here the past couple Fridays to get my weekend started and closing out a work week. The…read moreambiance here is intimate and the music isn't too loud which is great while sipping some beers. There are several beers and some ciders on tap from all around and all the ipa's I've tried here have been pretty decent. from there you grab your brew and have a seat at high top tables within the tap room. Again, the setting is mid-sized good for a couple groups of four and a few two person tables. Music is at a decent volume and is lit dimly making it decent for a date spot or just a place to have conversation without raised voices. Fridges line the tap room so you can mix and match beers, ciders and wines to take out which is cool. I like Bottleworks, I want to enjoy it more, but there are some issues holding me to 3 stars. The staff are...alright. Not bad, but I feel could be a little friendlier. Also they don't allow sample pours? This is a common thing at most breweries, but maybe it's because this is a tap room, but beers run a bit higher here - $8-9 a pour so that's annoying that you can't even try a couple. Lastly, they rotate things out it seems weekly. Some of the more popular options I suppose they keep but seems like a lot of turn around on the drinks so if you like something they have on tap, don't get too attached. Perhaps on subsequent visits It will improve, and I can boost the score here, but besides the decent beers and setting, it's just OK here.

Their tap list rotates frequently, but they have a large selection which means there's usually something for everyone. My one wish is that you could sample before committing. My go-to order is a bacon grilled cheese, but I remove the smoky aioli & ask for a side of serrano pepper jelly to dip it in instead. But everything on their menu is good, including their specials which change maybe every few months or so. Most recently we came in last night around ~7:20p w/ a group of 9 & were quickly seated at the big picnic table. Despite closing at 9p, the server let us order a monster cookie right as the kitchen was closing & let us stay a bit longer to finish our drinks/meals while they were closing up, letting us know we didn't need to rush. It was appreciated & even with a big group toward end of the evening, drinks & food all came out fast.

Quality/Quantity - Surprised that you do NOT offer samples of your draft beer?!?! And your bartender did NOT do a good job describing the beer options. Actually, he just did not do a good job at all. Happy Hour Mondays to Fridays from 3pm-6pm. Ambiance - A decent size location. Indoor and outdoor seating. The patio seating is now heated. And limited to 90 minutes. Fairly busy, well not when we got here. Again, lots of day drinking on this trip. Open 7 days a week from 11:30am to 9pm or 10pm. A huge parking lot in the rear, but not enough spaces to accommodate all the businesses here. Service - The bartender did NOT seem engaged. I think he was working both the bar and sales floor...? The guy next to me had a different bartender/server and they messed up on his order. I watched the interaction and was not impressed by the service. They ended up replacing his sandwich, but they did NOT say a word and just left and came back a few minutes later with a new sandwich. They did let him keep the wrong sandwich (and fries), but he did not take it. He did eat the first fries while waiting for the second sandwich. No reservations, first come first serve.
