This restaurant was recommended to me by an acquaintance and decided to go for brunch with 3 friends. We were seated after a 30 minute wait to be expected on a Sunday, our waitress came by and brought us water and took our beverage order. We then ordered our food two of my friends ordered the salmon Benedict with a poached egg, one asked for her poached eggs not to be runny and the waitress said that she could not guarantee it and was confrontational when my friend said she always ordered it that way at other restaurants and it was not an issue the waitress reiterated again no guarantees I ordered scrambled eggs with bacon and a side of tomatoes the other eggs over easy with a pork loin. The food came after a decent wait but the two poached eggs and my scrambled eggs were cold and the bacon did not look totally cooked so we sent them back. The manager came and asked what was wrong and told her so she said she'd expedite the order since we had already waited for our food and apologized. It took just as long to get as the first time so much for expedited, the poached eggs came first, how long does it take to make scrambled eggs and bacon? They were a little warmer but edible. Long story short I thought the manager would have offered to at least comp our drinks or offered a little discount. I have been to this location several times and the food and service has always been very good. I recently was in and had the uptown burrito. I was impressed. Tristan was behind the bar and the service was top notch. He actually cared that I was satisfied with the full meal. When I questioned where the cheese was on the Caprese salad, instead of giving me a story, he immediately asked if I wanted to switch it out. I did not switch it out because it was still good but all I had to do was ask a question he was on it. This is one of Chandler's best locations hands down. read more

My friends and I decided check this restaurant based on the reviews. From the reviews Tipsy Egg appeared to be trendy and fun with delicious food, perfect for a birthday brunch! To our surprise our experience was completely opposite. The wait was about 45 min and once seated we were greeted by the our waitress. She gave us a round of water and we didn't see her again. The hostess came to us a couple of times to see if we wanted to move and we declined. The third time she came over to us and asked us to keep our conversations down because customers were complaining. Keep in mind we have yet to see our waitress to order food or drinks and we've been seated for about 30 min. We asked for the manager and Chad came over. We told him our concerns and the lack of service we've received. He attempted to fix the situation by gifting us champagne and desert but at this point we over the way we've been treated. The food was mediocre and not worth the wait. We asked for consideration on our bill from Chad the manager and his response was, "Absolutely Not!". So we paid our bill and upon exiting he chased us down outside and assumed that we did not pay! I've never experienced so much rude service at a restaurant. My husband and I made the trip (it's in downtown Chandler and we live in North Phoenix...it's not right around the corner) and met friends for breakfast. It took quite a while to get our food but once it was served we soon realized it was worth the wait! My husband ordered The Henderson. Oh. My. Lord. You have some choices...1) Eat it all and don't eat again for a week. 2) Eat a bit and take some home to enjoy later. Or 3) Split it with someone else and be glad you did. I had a fork full and it was delicious. I ordered the Enchilada. First, I loved the way it was presented. The plate with my party potatoes (yum) and toast sat atop the bowl my dish was served in. The enchilada was perfect. The omelette was fluffy and the ingredients blended together to create a unique and delicious flavor. The portions are ample so don't worry about being hungry when finished. I have to mention the pancakes. My friend ordered one pancake as a side dish that we split. It was so good! Much lighter than your usual pancake, it convinced me to order one of the pancake offerings the next time we go. Tried for the 1st time to see what all they hype was about. I'd honestly say pack your patience because everything takes a WHILE to get to you, even Napkins, BUT good things come to whose whi wait right?!? Drinks were yummy, pricey, but tasty. Our party had 2 drinks each and that was PLENTY. The presentation of our food was on point however the flavor and meals themselves were lack luster. On the menu a tipsy egg icon marks the "life changing" options like the enchilada yumlette to which I tried. I wanted to LOVE it but it was in my opinion very mediocre. Tortillas are not fresh just warmed and hardened by the time they arrived. Omlett would be good but swimming in enchilada sauce that was just too much. The cotija cheese very good but again so much sauce took away from all the possible flavor. Party potatoes were probably my favorite item. The wait inbetween service took patience but our party knew " hey the world is short staff let's be troopers," but I must say 15min in between asking for Napkins, boxes, silverware was a long time. Had a great experience at Tipsy Egg this morning. Our wait was estimated to be 25 minutes but we got a text to come back within 10 minutes so definitely a short wait on a Sunday morning! The Benedict and scramble were really great for a classic breakfast. The gravy on the biscuits was very different from gravy I've had with any other biscuits but it definitely packed a lot of flavor. So todays experience was very different from last time. Got here before noon and we were so excited to get another great meal. We sat at the bar again. Because it is first come first serve and there was a line to sit inside. The bartender we had today was slow and inattentive. We had to ask to order. We ordered the same peppered steak. Because we loved it so much. Completely different this time. You'll notice the tomato this time as well as very little gravy. Also, as we were trying to order she was walking away. So had we not yelled out how we wanted our eggs she wouldn't have got it. And we forgot to say bread. Which comes with the meal. But she didn't ask. And we didn't get. We stopped in with 3 of our kids for lunch. Service was subpar. The hostess was nice but our server was not even pleasant and seemed almost irritated. I watched her with the other tables as well-it was not just us. She checked on us once. My husband ordered some kind of steak and eggs. The steak came in a gravy. He didn't expect it, but said it wasn't terrible. I had the Turkey omelette which I enjoyed although everything was under seasoned. The kids meals (except the French toast sticks) we're good sized. The advertised "bakery" no longer exists (our server told us the bakery goods just weren't selling). They did have four types of cookies in the front case, but nothing that caught our eye. First time, last time. Nice ambiance, cool name, clean dining room. The problem was the food. I thought I would order a basic breakfast as a test. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast. I ordered over easy eggs, home fries, wheat toast and crispy bacon. The eggs were under over easy (clear whites), the bacon was hard and thick and ate more like beef jerky. The Tipsy Egg is just what downtown Chandler needed! This hip, new brunch/lunch hotspot is the place to be any day of the week . The service and waitstaff are so incredibly friendly, attentive and outgoing. The cocktails (and mocktails) are so creative and refreshing. And the menu items are loaded with flavor (and the portions are very generous)! We stopped by on Memorial Day for brunch and as crowded as they were, we were seated almost immediately (party of 6) with minimal wait time. Our party had ordered various drinks and I tried the bloody Mary. It wasn't overly spicy and had a great flavor (and decent amount of vodka). :) I was hungry so I got the Gravy Biscuit Mountain. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach this time! This did not disappoint! I have NEVER EVER seen biscuits so big. They were covered in a homemade sausage gravy that was loaded with flavor! I saw this place was opening on Facebook and was pretty excited to try it after looking at the menu! I came here by myself the first Saturday it opened after a long hike. The hike tired me out so I was super hungry and craved some delicious brunch food! For parking, there is a lot of public parking outside Tipsy Egg if you turn into the Serrano's parking lot and drive a bit further in (this is the turn right before you see Tipsy Egg). I parked there (pretty empty lot for like 10 AM on a Saturday) and got a bar seat at the establishment pretty quickly even though it was packed that Saturday morning. I don't really drink alcohol so got one of the mocktails, the Pineapple Smash ($7.59), it was pretty decent for a non-alcoholic drink and tasted very tropical. Reminded me of a nice beach! I would recommend this if you want something pina colada but without the alchy in it. Then per the bartender's (Michelle) recommendation, I got the Crazy Scrambler with Rye Toast and the Party Potatoes. The Party Potatoes were super delicious, cheesy, and flavorful!!!! I would definitely choose this over the normal potatoes every time (not saying the normal potatoes were bad, they were nicely seasoned but the party potatoes were definitely better)!!! The Crazy Scrambler was also super delicious (or maybe I was super hungry that day)!!!! But it had the perfect combination of toppings and mayo. Everything tasted, fresh, hot, and flavorful. I saw there was a dessert and figured I might as well treat myself and got that too! It was a really cute bread pudding topped with Cracker Jacks. The Cracker Jacks tasted like normal delicious caramel popcorn then below that was this super delicious salted caramel gelato and then below that was a warm bread pudding that was soaked by the gelato. I didn't taste any bacon in this and the bread pudding was delicious except I think I got some edge pieces which were a bit hard to chew compared to the rest of the pudding. A friend came to visit me and I mentioned how much I enjoyed this place so I came back again for round two (and this was pretty much within 2 weeks of the place opening and I can definitely see myself coming back here again). We came on a Saturday around 1 PM and the place was a lot emptier and we were seated immediately. My friend ordered a Cranberry Mimosa and the Enchilada Yumelet with the Party Potatoes while I ordered the Uptown Burrito and Strawberry Sparkler mocktail. So far this mocktail was my favorite! It was very strawberry tasting and perfectly sweet, which I liked! For the food the Enchilada Yumelet was super delicious. When it came we were surprised how it was doused in enchilada sauce but in the end we loved how well the sauce worked with the eggs! My friend had the party potatoes and also noted how it hits diff than normal potatoes and would 100% choose this over the normal ones anytime. Per the server's recommendation, I got the Uptown Burrito, which was more like a unique breakfast burrito than a normal burrito. It was more Americanized than the normal burrito and had spinach, Gouda, mushrooms, and steak. I would say it isn't bad but I did prefer the Enchilada Yumelet my friend got and the Crazy Scrambler I previously got before. On the side I had the normal potatoes and I wish I got the party potatoes instead. They were still good, just not as good as the party potatoes. Well one thing to note is that sometimes it does take a while for your order to be taken or the food to get to you. Which I don't mind since I have all the time in the world but I asked the server and any of the items on the food menu that are boxed in blue are usually one of the quicker options to come out :) so if you're in a hurry, maybe opt for one of those options instead. The food items with the little chick next to it are the popular recommended items! Overall food is a solid like 9/10 so far. Some things are better tasting than the others but I enjoyed the experience a lot! I would definitely be making my way here again for brunch, especially with how close by it is!!! read more

If you like servers who are rude and don't give AF about how long you've been sitting there before asking what you'd like to drink, this is your place. Finally got a chance to check this place out, saw it under construction last time I was in Arizona back in March. The restaurant itself is really open and modern, it reminded me of LA. This place is still fairly new in Chandler, but it was definitely worth giving it a try. I went with some family and they absolutely loved their food. My Fiance got the Eggs Benedict (Mom's Pot Roast) and I helped her finish it because the servings are pretty nice here . I had the Salmon Benedict and it was fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The bar staff is obnoxious and and loud and yelling so loud you can hear them throughout the restaurant. So when your staff is yelling, it allows the client to be just as loud and obnoxious as they feel it's normal. This more of a bar and not a breakfast place. The menu is very limited. The food isn't the greatest as I order biscuits and gravy dish. Biscuits were stale. I asked for the potatoes to be cooked extra crispy and it came and the came out raw in the middle. I don't see this place lasting if they don't change things. No parking lot. Plus side, our server was super nice! The manager was very polite and removed my meal and offered a free one next time.
