This is a really cute weekend brunch place. This place is a 4.5 but because they got 5s in 2 out of the 3 categories (read below) I rounded up. You can definitely tell they take the time and make the effort in the presentation especially with the mimosas. This isn't the best brunch place but I would come back. I judge a restaurant based on 3 categories; food, service, and ambiance. Food 4/5: A good brunch place must have good mimosas so we got "Aloha Mimosa" as well as the "Mimosa Paloma" and both sound and look better then they actually were. The Aloha had to much syrup and the Paloma taste to much like rosemary. As for the food, I got "The Crazy Scrambler" and it was good but not life changing, it was pretty basic. Lastly, we got chocolate macadamia nut cookies and even though they would be way better if they were hot, still wasn't bad. Service 5/5: Even though it was really busy as expected on a Sunday, the staff our server did not looked stress. They were very welcoming and friendly. Ambiance 5/5: The ambiance was exactly what you want in a brunch place. Good music, a nice patio and a up beat atmosphere. Disappointed with this place. They got every drink wrong and re-dif almost everything. The water taste horrible, we saw every table around us and no one drank the water. The food was okay a little too much salt but okay I can deal with that. Our bill was 100$ and just felt like it was not worth it. Not coming back. We love this place. Probably a 4.5 overall. 5 stars for their "party potatoes" alone. Those delicious morsels are potato chunks with some cheese and lovely rosemary. Oh so good! Food overall is well-seasoned and tasty. Portion sizes are almost perfect for brunch. Not the cheapest prices for breakfast/brunch, but not terrible. Some of our favorite dishes are the Enchilada and the Chicken Fried Pork. My wife loves that it's different than the usual chicken fried steak. Cocktails are priced a little higher than they should be. Basic Mimosa is $7.99 and comes in a tiny flute glass. Should be a big wine glass at that price. So $8 is the cheapest booze drink and goes up from there. At least their bloody mary's are spot on. Great house mix. Some of the best we've had. Just wish they had some daily drink specials. Service is fast and attentive and both the patio & interior have a good brunch vibe. Good location in downtown Chandler. I went in with pretty low expectations given the rating Yelp has been giving this place averaged out. We went in on s Monday morning and we were able to get some seats at the bar but the place wasn't packed so if we wanted to sit at a table that definitely would have been possible for sure. I would always see so much going on during the weekends so it's kind of surprising that the average score is kind of low. Now i know this is only my first visit but it was great. My husband ordered me the filet and eggs with extra tomatoes as a side since he ordered his breakfast with the party potatoes. My filet was already cut into slices which was fine and the grilled tomato that I think comes with the dish was perfect. Now I definitely think that the extra side of tomatoes was complete overload but that's my fault for not really reading the description very well and not abruptly stopping my husband for ordering for me. My husband on the other hand had the enchiladas with the party potatoes and the party potatoes are an absolute must. He loved his enchiladas so much. For someone that hates breakfast as much as him it was pretty impressive. If you go on a Monday just a little FYI: bogo mimosas. So another perk for my husband. Since I'm 9 months pregnant obviously I couldn't partake. The aloha was his favorite so far. My Arnold Palmer was awful but can't expect much most of the time when it comes to fountain drinks and I definitely don't think either their lemonade or iced tea are made in house. Cute place and great location, our staple brunch food is Eggs Benedict and Biscuits and Gravy. Biscuits were super dry and gravy was just okay, the cheesy potatoes were good. The salmon on the Benedict tasted like the flat top griddle it was cooked on. I went there recently with a 90 year old veteran sergeant. He had some difficulties, but the service was so patient and fun and relaxing . They got a big tip. They always come by and ask if you have any needs and it's more than one waiter or waitress. Great teamwork. Food was great. Great New Hot Spot! Love the posh bar stools inside, but they're so far apart, it's hard to have a conversation with anyone given the noise level. So, it will be a great spot to visit on my own, unless we go early enough not to have to wait outside on the sidewalk for a table. There is no "call ahead" or opportunity for reservations. The mimosa list is exciting. It's the first page of drinks (not labeled.) And there are lots of other margarita, cocktail and mocktail options, too. That definitely explains the "tipsy" part of their name! I chose the mimosa paloma. Be careful with that first sip! There were several enticing dishes that I wanted to try. I was super happy my friend chose the enchilada yumelete. It had great flavor and the dish it was served in saved it from the hot window. I had the crazy scrambler, which seemed like it would have been more delicious with a little more cheese and not dried out from the hot window. Both suited our taste best with tortillas (instead of the bread options listed off for us.) All in all, I will probably go back, but definitely earlier or later than 11am to get food and drinks in a more timely manner. This was our second time at Tipsy Egg and we were excited to try new items after having a good experience the first time. However, it fell short of expectations. While our server was sweet she did not provide the best experience. My husband ordered a side of bacon and never got it. I asked for jam and never got it. We had to ask for waters which I think should be standard when patrons get to a table. She also didn't stop by the table very often so we had to actively try to catch her eye to get water. It seems like she was a new server which I get but the staff needs a little extra training. The food was okay. We ordered the Yuzu Mint pancakes and the Crazy Scrambler. The pancakes were standard-not bad, not stellar-and the yuzu mint flavor came from the mascarpone on top of the cakes. It was not a "flavor experience" that I thought it'd be. Mostly tasted the mint and very little of the yuzu...the dish could have been brighter. The mint was also dried which does not go as well with citrusy yuzu as fresh mint would. The Scrambler was more of an omelet than a scramble which was disappointing. The egg was also over cooked as I tend to like light scrambles and fluffier eggs. The jalapeños, tomato, and white onion sat on top of the omelet and didn't really add anything flavor wise. It might have been better if they were sautéed and incorporated into the omelet/scrambler; or if it was more finely diced and closer to a pico de gallo. I also got a cold brew coffee and was taken aback when I took my first sip of the overly carbonated coffee drink. I definitely did not expect a carbonated cold brew so I suggest that the servers warn patrons since they might be expecting flat/still cold brew. If they plan to keep this as a draft, I might suggest switching to nitro. Overall, disappointing but I would give it one more try given that our first experience was not that bad. read more

When you look at reviews sometimes it's hard to tell if they're legit or a bit impatient etc. I am always down to try something at-least once to see for myself. I've driven past this place quite a few time when in the area and decided to stop for breakfast with my daughter. Tipsy Egg is located in Downtown Chandler so parking can get a little frustrating if you've never been. There is a parking garage nearby, some street parking as well. We were greeted right away and told we could sit anywhere we chose. They do have a patio, but we chose inside as it was still nice inside because they have wall to ceiling window/doors that open. The road noice was also quite loud. The location is a bit small, but again when we came it was pretty empty. There was a bartender and a few servers; one of who looked like he was training. Jessica came over and introduced herself, gave us some menus and took our drink order. She was so friendly and fun to talk to. It was refreshing honestly because now a days so many people are so unhappy in their profession. We decided to share some avocado toast and of course I had to try the eggs benedict. They had a few of the traditional options, but I went for the Moms Pot Roast Benny. They come with country potatoes or what the call party potatoes. Now, I knew before even asking that I was getting the party potatoes...because they are party potatoes HA! My daughter was excited to see Its My Birthday Pancakes that literally came topped with funfetti sprinkles and whip cream. It's like it was meant to be. I let Jessica know it was actually my daughters birthday and asked if by some possibility they had a candle hiding in the back. She wished my daughter a happy birthday and said she wasn't sure, but she's check around. Let me tell you that when Jessica came around that corner with a candle topped on the cakes my 22 year old daughter beamed like a kid! She then lit the candle, gave her a sweet happy birthday again and walked away while we celebrated a moment, blew out her candle and made a wish. My food followed and it looked amazing. It was all so delicious. I'd never thought of a pot roast combo with hollandaise sauce, but it complimented well and meat was cooked great. The party potatoes were yummy . They offer mimosa flights that looked amazing as well as bloody Mary's, mocktail and basic coffee like cold brew. If you're looking for fancy lattes etc this is not your place . There is a coffee shop across the street if you wanted to get something from there to go after brunch. I could see that service was be an issue as the reviews say, but we didn't experience that in the slightest. The place was a bit slow, and a few people outside had to come in to the bartender asking for their bill etc Our server was awesome, food was amazing and the joy on my daughters face exceeded my expectations. Awwww we are so sad. This used to be a favorite brunch place for us. We OBSESSED over their epic "Henderson" french toast, fluffy pancakes, among other things. We visited this restaurant this morning and were not disappointed! Our server, Jessica, was quick to help and was very friendly. Regardless of the holiday, we were seated in a timely manner. She advised us on what to eat and frequently checked in. The food was great! The pancakes are fluffy and very large. My husband got the filet with eggs and it was extremely delicious, plus the bacon was some of the best I've had! I highly recommend getting a strawberry lemonade to top it all off.
