Fast, great, and thorough service. RJ was amazing and rather calming in a time of crisis. Great guy and most importantly he was incredibly competent and knowledgable of his job. Dispatcher was also extremely patient and helpful. Great job guys. 5 stars! read more

This was the first company I called and I immediately knew it was the right decision. RJ was so helpful and easy going. He took the stress out of a stressful situation. He efficiently helped me with towing my car safely where I needed it and he even managed to simultaneously help a lady who locked her keys in her car. He didn't blow her off because he was helping me first. He was professional and caring about it. I would recommend that this company be the one you depend on when you're in a bind. Thank you Tip Tows! read more

Just had my car towed by Rj form tip tows. Excellent service and was able to arrive within 15 minutes. Price was very good given the distance and the fact that a flatbed had to be used. Over all I'm very happy I decided to go with tip toes and will definitely be going back any time I need towing services. read more

Incredibly quick, courteous, and efficient. One of the better towing experiences I've had, highly recommended.

Incredibly friendly people. We were helped by Adam, who came to our aid super quickly and gave us a jump start. He also gave some advice and words of caution, which was really showed they cared. Easy, quick, and friendly service. read more

RJ was super cool, the situation is always going to vary but he got to my location in 15 minutes. Called other companies and they were charging about $80-$100. This gentleman is all about customer service. GIVE THIS MAN AN AWARD. read more

Gotta say we had a great experience with this tow service. We broke down on the road to north shore and we called these boys up, Kioni was there within 15-20 mins and he was friendly and professional. It was kind of a shit situation breaking down and all but riding back with Kioni actually made it a good experience, we talked the whole time, we are going to need a tow to the shop on Monday and i am calling these dudes and requesting Kioni to come grab our whip. I wish i could give more than 5 stars. read more

Just had our first experience ever with Tip Tows. Rj was very friendly and made the experience so easy for us. Multiple calls to let us know how far he is (no one like wondering or waiting). I couldn't ask for better when having the worst luck on the road. read more

Awesome service!!! Adam was GREAT, VERY professional, and took pride in his work! Definitely recommend Tip Tows if you need a tow!

Got a flat and waited over 3 hours for another company and as soon as they came they said they weren't able to tow my car. My insurance company called Tip Tows and they came right away and had no problem towing my car. RJ, the guy who helped us, made the situation better. His service was great and easy to talk to. I would rely on them for any road side service! read more

Was in a bind yesterday as my car wouldn't start and I needed a tow from Kapolei to Kailua. After leaving unreturned voice and text messages with another highly rated tow company in the area I gave Tip Tows (another highly rated company) a call. Received a pick-up on my first attempt and was told that a tow truck was available and would arrive in 25 - 30 minutes. RJ (driver) forwarded text updates on ETA and showed right on time. Car was loaded with care and expertise and soon we were on our way. Chatting with RJ, I came away impressed with his passion for customer service and in helping out others. Got a GREAT rate for this long haul and received receipt via email a minute after arrival in Kailua. I would HIGHLY recommend Tip Tows for any towing needs or road assistance. Finding vendors/businesses that truly care for their customers is a great thing! read more

Braddah Brooks was one solid straight up guy. He's there for "customer service" and not for the $. GEICO set me up with him, told me bout 35min on an early Saturday morning. Braddah was there in 15min. Took him 5 min to hook me up and we was off to WAIALUA, 25 miles away! Talk story all the way down. Braddah Brooks not even from the islands but get more ALOHA than a lot of the other guys. Mahalo Brooks. You good people brah. Aloha read more

Driver RJ came in at 3am in the morning as promised. Truly one of the best customer service I got. Wasn't expecting much at at first but ended having a professional service. BIG SHOUT OUT TO RJ at TIP TOWS who arrived at my residence in Makiki JUST 15 MINUTES AFTER I CALLED, on Mon, Nov. 8, 2021, and PROBABLY SAVED MY LIFE--Read on! I had a flat tire and needed a tow. A certain insurance co--with a gecko for a mascot--with which I have Roadside Assistance--had called around to various tow co's and had gotten estimates of *2 hours* for arrival. RJ called me *personally* and said I sounded pretty stressed, and he felt bad for me. So even though he already had a call to p/u a 1933 vintage car, he arrived in barely 15 minutes!! We had a nice chat and he was clearly knowledgeable about cars and tires and explained about the bad shape my other tires were in--I didn't even know! He said, "You really don't want a blow-out" and recommended replacing other tires, so he probably SAVED MY LIFE!! He towed me to Lex Brodie's on Queen and I told him I'm telling everyone I know about TIP TOWS TOWING! MAHALO R.J.!!! read more

We needed a tow from Kapolei to the dealership. Called for roadside assistance and Tip Tows came to the rescue! We weren't by the vehicle when we called for help, so the driver gave us courtesy lockout services. They were super fast and the driver called and stayed in touch the entire time. I highly recommend this company for towing needs!!! They also do flats and jumpstarts 24/7 - call them if you need them! They respond FAST!!! read more

I have to say this towing company is solid. This cool guy Adam which he also goes by AJ has provided awesome service and was very friendly. This is the best tow company I have ever dealt with. They were so fast and helpful! Within 20 minutes of calling them, they were already out there and unlocking my car. And their prices are reasonable too:) 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone read more

I had to have my van towed twice. Once sometime last year and again today. I always call my car insurance company GEICO and both times I needed a tow....they sent Tip Tows. The driver I had today was the same driver I had last year, Keoni, at least he sure looked like the same guy. I wish I caught his name last year but I swear it's the same person. Anyway let's talk about the service. Consistent. Both of the times that GEICO sent Tip Tows I received excellent, professional, fast, FRIENDLY service. Having to be towed is never good but in a bad situation TIP TOWS is definitely a POSITIVE. Being granted consistent SUPERB service twice is not a fluke. Tip Tows is a great company and deserves a 5 star rating and review so here you are Tip Tows...this company deserves it. Thank you for your business card if I or someone I know ever needs a tow but I really don't need your business card because I will never forget TIP TOWS. read more

I was in Kapolei on a Saturday night and my car wouldn't start (it was the starter). Geico said a tow truck will be there in 45 minutes. Tip Tows showed up in about 15 minutes. RJ was super professional and he has some neat stories! The whole process was stress free. He towed my car from Kapolei to Wahiawa. I HIGHLY recommend AJ and Tip Tows for any towing services. read more

One of my tires has a slow leak and I noticed that it was unusually low. Just so happen Rj was right across the street from me so I asked him if he could put some air in my tire. He seen my kids in the car with me and seemed very concerned about my tire being low. With no hesitation he went to his truck to grab something, came back and put air in my tire. Great service comes a long way. I would definitely give Tip Tows a call the next time I need a tow. read more

Questionable business practices, such as charging excessive storage costs and extra for towing. Extremely rude, obnoxious staff. More than happy to blame the customer, even yelling over phone, meantime padding the bill. Complete nightmare. Never, ever will we use this company again. read more

This company is awesome! Very professional and was actually concerned about the situation. Driver was super friendly.

I highly recommend this company. It took just 10minutes for RJ to come and rescue me and my car in kapolei. I had to ride with him home while he towed my car so I was pleasantly surprised when I got into his truck and found it was comfortable and clean. Thank you RJ for getting me home safe! read more

As usual, car broke down at worst possible time. Luckily, a friend of mine referred Tip Tows and I gave them a call. I was surprised at how quickly he was able to get to my location and get my car up and on the truck. He was very professional which is something you don't see too often in this line of business. Getting your car towed is never an enjoyable experience but I have to say that Tip Tows made it about as good as it can be and the price was better than expected. Thank you for getting me out of my jam! read more

If you have to call a tow truck, you're usually in a bad situation. Fortunately, having a reliable, honest tow company can alleviate the stress. Tip Tows, LLC is that company. I called Tip Tows after they were the first company that popped up when I searched Yelp. RJ promised that he could get to my pick up location at a certain time despite the poor weather conditions and rush hour. He showed up right on time and had my car lifted within minutes. RJ is the epitome of a trustworthy, hard working individual. I needed my car to be at a dealership by a certain time and I, unfortunately, gave him a very small window to work with. We got to the destination with 10 minutes to spare. He stayed the whole time until my wife and I were taken care of. After a very stressful day of dealing with a broken car, I'm extremely glad that I got to do business with RJ. The process was very quick and simple. He takes credit cards! RJ, thank you for your friendly attitude and your service with a smile! I will always call Tip Tow, LLC anytime I need a tow and I highly recommend you do the same. read more

Extremely great customer service, and great service from the owner himself. I would like to express my deepest gratitude in helping me tow my car from where I was at to Goodyear in Kapolei. You are a god send, and my day wasn't looking so great, but your extreme generosity to go out of your way in helping me is beyond comprehension. Again, mahalo to the owner of tip tows in going out of his way in helping me and my son. read more

I randomly called this company when I was recently stranded and I was very fortunate this was the company I chose. RJ was the person who came to "rescue" me and he was wonderful. Friendly, funny, helpful, reassuring. He gave me a bottle of water as soon as he got there and had the AC blasting when I got in the truck. If I need a tow again (and please god say I don't), I'll call Tip Tows and ask for RJ! read more

Unfortunately yesterday my Honda element wouldn't start even after jumping the battery. To make things worst it was in a basement with very limited access at the Aloha Hotel in Waikiki. I contacted this company to see if they could try to tow my car due to its location and from start to finish I got A-1 service. Very polite staff, they came fast, where able to tow my car with no problem, and best of all, their prices are very reasonable. read more

Got a tow today from Tip Tows. The driver was very prompt and professional. I have a slightly lowered vehicle and the operator(RJ) was very careful with my car. Thanks RJ and Tip Tows for the best towing experience I've had on island. read more

This is a late review. RJ came to the rescue when I was stuck at the parking structure one evening a couple of weeks ago. He's professional. We had conversation on just about anything in life. Amazing customer service!!! Owner messaged back faster than any other tow company I messaged and RJ was quick and brought the car right up to where I needed it in my driveway. Hawaii, hawaii, hawaii.... sigh. I must say, i had an awesome time wining and dining around the island of Oahu with friends and family. Im from Texas and great service and hospitality doesn't come by often considering being close to 4,000 miles away from home. ANYWAY.. Im getting ready to leave the islands driving to the honolulu airport from our hotel and kaboom. I hear flapping, car vibrating. Front passenger tire shot. I called my rental company. OMG, no one answered for 45 minutes. Mind you , I have a plane to catch in an hour so I was in full panic mode. I called over a dozen towing services and no one answered or I had to wait an additional 2 hours for service. Its was 4am, I was starting to think about changing the tire myslf. At this time Im about to cry. I begin to call and see if I can reschedule my flight for the next day. I quickly typed in on the yelp site and called this company. I let him know i was on the H1 headed toward the airport. He arrived in less than 20 mins. This gentlemen approached me and said, " Hi Ma'am " Opened his truck passenger door for me and murder she wrote. Talk about an angel. Not only was he able to pick up the vehicle and I, but he dropped me off at the terminal and took the rental wreck back to the company. Of course price didn't matter at the time but I would pay double for this incredible hospitality anytime. His price was right on time tho. I even provided a well deserved tip. Thanks again. I highly recommend this company..... read more

My mom was stalled at 630. She calls for road side assistance. And gets VIP towing. So around 7pm I ask my mom to call them to check how long more. The lady that answered told my mom she gotta wait another hour fifteen min. We was surprised. But just went with it. It was quarter to 9pm. I tell my mom to call again and the lady says. Sorry we cancelled your order. My mom asked. No I been waiting how long can you put me back on. The lady tells my mom no she gotta call the insurance again. So upsetting my mom goes and start from the begining. Our first response again was VIP towing. I tell my mom no call them back and say we dont want them. She gets another company. TIP TOWING. THE GUYS CALL MY MOM ASK ARE YOU SURE YOUR COMING, HOW LONG? THE GUY SAID YES TONY WILL BE THERE IN ABOUT 30 MIN. HES ON THE H3. WITHIN NO TIME THAT GUY TONY WAS THERE HOOKING UP MY MOMS CAR AND WE WAS HOME IN NO TIME. THANK YOU "TONY" AND TIP TOWING. YOU GUYS ARE SO AWESOME FAST, EFFICIENT, TRUE, AND DEPENDABLE. read more

Car broke down in my garage, called Tip Tows and they sent someone out in under half an hour. Gave me a price upfront which was great. He got to my apartment complex, tried to jump start my car and it didn't start, he said it was most likely my starter but it was in a weird place so he couldn't tap it (even the mobile mechanic who came out said that it was really difficult to find/work with). My garage has a super low clearance and his truck wouldn't even fit to get my car out. Still didn't charge me for the jump/his time, told me to shop around and call him if nobody beat me what he quoted me for the truck that would make it through a roughly 6'9 clearance. Gave me a heads up that lots of companies would charge just for showing up and to make sure I gave them the clearance, as well as a solid time table for when their truck that would fit would be available. Completely appreciated all his help and will call them/send people their way if someone needs a tow! Thank you so much! read more

Tip Tows LLC hit it out the park this afternoon/evening with some of the best quality customer service I have seen in a long time. After waiting for over 2 hours for another company I received a call from RJ. He told me he was dropping off a vehicle and would be back to get me, telling me not to worry, "I got you." I told him USAA had called someone else, again he said, "I got you, don't worry." He calls again and says he is 5 minutes out and after some directional challenges on my exact location he rolls in and hooks up. Lots of friendly conversation all the while reassuring me things will be ok. "We are here to take care of people." RJ told me. We get to KIA and he walks me through the key drop off process to ensure I will be taken care of in the morning. As I tell him I am headed to Tripler to see my grandson he offers to give me a ride and drops me at the front entrance to the hospital. Above and beyond his duties, he made sure I got to my family without hesitation. It's rare to find that kind of customer service today. I will recommend Tip Tows to all my friends. Mahalo for a great experience. read more
