After a nightmare with AAA and their contracted tow trucks, I went thru GEICO who sent Tip Tows. Keoni was the driver and he literally arrived 2 minutes after I hung up with GEICO. He was super professional, shaking my hand and introducing himself. He hooked up my little car on the flat bed so carefully like it was his own car, and he did it so quickly. He used a flat bed tow truck (not the other type that drags your car) and towed my car to the dealer. I followed behind him and he was a great driver. I know most of the time you can't choose which company shows up for your car trouble, but after having to deal with some of the questionable shenanigans with other companies/tow yards, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you choose Tip Tows if that's available to you. My radiator took a crap on the pali and had to get a tow. Amazing customer service on the phone and great communication as we waited for them to come (it took less than an hour for them to arrive). I had an emergency this morning around 4am and needed my vehicle towed. I contacted 9 tow companies majority were 24 hour service and none could help me. Tip Tows was the 10th tow company we contacted. Not only were they able to tow my car, he was extremely knowledgeable about the repair station I was having them tow it too. Location and hours and drop off area. I thought the pricing was good and reasonable. Overall the service was amazing. No issues. He came quick and loaded my vehicle quickly. Like my neighbors were already leaving their homes to go to work and he was quick. And he brought the big tow truck (don't know what's it's called, trailer lol ‍) and easily drove in our tight middle street and managed around our cul de sac where our neighbors and us park illegally lol . Utilized my insurance for a tow. Was trying to change my oil in the parking lot of kapolei regional park and my oil filter was hella stubborn to come loose. Pretty stupid for me to do it there but given the personal situation I was going through I had no choice. Big shout out to driver Kainoa for coming out to me. He asked me if he could try and break it loose with his pants belt as a trick that his uncle taught him. He tried for like 10 - 15 mins trying to get it loose. He not only tried using his pants belt he tried using a tow strap to no avail. He really went above and beyond in trying to help me. Ended up towing it to my house in the end. Was also hospitable in offering me a cold bottle of water. How cool is that? Had a nice conversation with him on the trip to my home and I gotta say it was really enjoyable. Everything went well! The owner even came out to ensure my car was not damaged during the pick up. I absolutely recommend these guys even if you have a nice car like mine. It only took them 15 minutes to reach my location and even though I was worried my car would be damaged the owner reassured me my car would be ok. They even had race ramps because the car was low. Most towing companies do not have race ramps. They were also careful to not damage my side skirts...I'm sooo thankful for that too. Again, I was impressed and to all the car guys out there don't worry about your car they got you! My car is 4 inches off the ground so it's low. Ok first of Ms.Halona, it really shows your inexperience as a manager that you don't own your employees mistakes. How is it privilege, when you could have simply decline the job. Was it my choice that Geico picked you? Of corse not. So stop making this about privilege, and excuses of being a manager. Did I choose for a flat bed? My answer was I don't know what is needed but the tires are stick with 255/35R20 front tire and a 285/30R20 rear tire. Now tell me do I need a flat bed? I don't know! It's not my job to decided, but hoping with your experience you would know. But wait, this is integrity? Seriously? Get a clue! Thirds part was that your tow truck driver never says anything to no one, but just leaves the key fob inside the car. Keep in mind that this a keyless fob. So YOU CANT LOCK THE CAR WITH THE KEY FOB INSIDE! The driver could have gave the key fob to someone in charge or let us know that the key fob was still inside the car You could have taken the better position by simply apologizing, and lessons learned. My car died and needed to be towed to get serviced. It was in an apartment parking that needed to be maneuvered in neutral and moved down a narrow ramp to the street level. I really wish I remember the driver's name, I think (Keoni?), and he was wonderful. He was friendly, helpful and mostly knowledgeable in what he was doing. I had to cancel another tow earlier from a different company because they couldn't or wouldn't try to get my car out of my building's parking structure because of the low clearance in the height. I'm astound at how amazing, and quick Tip Tows is!! I spoke to Halona and she got me a driver calling me in the next few minutes. Now, I know this is typical but what happened after the call is what made the service CHEF'S KISS! AJ was extremely professional, courteous, straight to the point and made sure to communicate with me in a way that put my anxious mind at ease. He told me he would get to my car in two hours and I could not be there so I left the keys in the car for him. He was there within the two hours as stated and gave me an update every step of the way. When he got to my house, he found it easily. I live in a neighborhood where it all looks the same, and the street name is throughout the entire subdivision.
