To sumn it up: these people know how to treat kama'aina and do car drivers good Ho brah I was driving down the H2 going up the hill and all of a sudden my car no like work, was going 60, then 50, then 30, then 20 so I had to pull over. Brah I was so nervous, I tried calling the roadside assistance (no answah off on Hawaii time yea ) I call at least 3 other towing places (no can, no how) call Tip Tows and sistah locks in, asking me all kine questions, giving me suggestions, doing the best she can! Tip Tows - He took very good care of my baby!! Mahalo tip tows & Kai!! - Towing Near Me - Kapolei, Hawaii

Had multiple roadside calls with Tip Tows, including a flat tire yesterday. Booked through Allstate and the tech called immediately with my place in line/ETA. He got there 40 min early (Kapolei). In and out. If you have a choice, choose this place. read more

Quick, careful, friendly service. Knowledgeable about EV quirks. Charged at the average rate and notified prior to pick-up that use of a card would add 4% to the bill, always good to know. read more

After a nightmare with AAA and their contracted tow trucks, I went thru GEICO who sent Tip Tows. Keoni was the driver and he literally arrived 2 minutes after I hung up with GEICO. He was super professional, shaking my hand and introducing himself. He hooked up my little car on the flat bed so carefully like it was his own car, and he did it so quickly. He used a flat bed tow truck (not the other type that drags your car) and towed my car to the dealer. I followed behind him and he was a great driver. I know most of the time you can't choose which company shows up for your car trouble, but after having to deal with some of the questionable shenanigans with other companies/tow yards, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you choose Tip Tows if that's available to you. On a side note. If HPD calls a tow truck and you also call AAA, the HPD contracted truck will probably get there first, so you'll have to pay for that tow up front, read more

My car insurance will usually go through this company for tows and they've probably towed our cars about 6 or 7 times so I just wanted to say thank you guys and sorry it took so long to leave a review. Great tow truck drivers very helpful, prompt and careful with all of our cars. Always recommend you folks to family looking for tows. Thank you all!!! read more

My tow came within 30 minutes which was great. Keoni was very professional and friendly. Towing with aloha. The price of the towing was reasonable and I didn't feel taken advantage of like some towing company will. I would recommend them to my friends. read more

My radiator took a crap on the pali and had to get a tow. Amazing customer service on the phone and great communication as we waited for them to come (it took less than an hour for them to arrive). The guy who picked up was so sweet and easy to talk to. We had to drive in 5p traffic and I felt comfortable and calm the whole way, which was nice as I was freaking out over my car!! I felt like I was getting help from a friend. and the price was AWESOME. 10/10, if anyone needs a tow you call these guys. MAHALO !!! read more

Tip Tows - Towing Near Me - Kapolei, Hawaii

The most AMAZING service! I had a flat tire at 5am getting off of work, went through my insurance and they connected me with Tip Tows LLC. I was then estimated a time frame of 110-150 minutes until arrival-- Which, I expected because they are located in Kapolei and had to travel into Kalihi to save me (Morning rush). I had been connected with RJ-- who had such great service from the beginning to end. He called to let me know he was going to be a while as there was traffic which again, I totally understood. The attentiveness and RJ being persistent in keeping me updated-- was what stood out & for that, I had to write a review. God bless you for the advice and the very efficient process! 10/10 read more

The flatbed was on the scene in 45 mins as promised. The driver was cool, and he had a good sense of humor. Sometimes you need that when your baby is broken down on the side of the road!! The price was excellent compared to other quotes. Dispatch was cool too!! "Tipbox" for the win. read more

I had an emergency this morning around 4am and needed my vehicle towed. I contacted 9 tow companies majority were 24 hour service and none could help me. Tip Tows was the 10th tow company we contacted. Not only were they able to tow my car, he was extremely knowledgeable about the repair station I was having them tow it too. Location and hours and drop off area. I thought the pricing was good and reasonable. Overall the service was amazing. No issues. He came quick and loaded my vehicle quickly. Like my neighbors were already leaving their homes to go to work and he was quick. And he brought the big tow truck (don't know what's it's called, trailer lol ‍) and easily drove in our tight middle street and managed around our cul de sac where our neighbors and us park illegally lol . I'm so grateful. Thank you Tip Tows!! read more

Utilized my insurance for a tow. Was trying to change my oil in the parking lot of kapolei regional park and my oil filter was hella stubborn to come loose. Pretty stupid for me to do it there but given the personal situation I was going through I had no choice. Big shout out to driver Kainoa for coming out to me. He asked me if he could try and break it loose with his pants belt as a trick that his uncle taught him. He tried for like 10 - 15 mins trying to get it loose. He not only tried using his pants belt he tried using a tow strap to no avail. He really went above and beyond in trying to help me. Ended up towing it to my house in the end. Was also hospitable in offering me a cold bottle of water. How cool is that? Had a nice conversation with him on the trip to my home and I gotta say it was really enjoyable. Really hope his boss sees this as what he has is a gem of an employee. No ka oi for sure. Also hope his boss puts in a raise for him and to have a little more leeway for this hardworking man. read more

Everything went well! The owner even came out to ensure my car was not damaged during the pick up. I absolutely recommend these guys even if you have a nice car like mine. It only took them 15 minutes to reach my location and even though I was worried my car would be damaged the owner reassured me my car would be ok. They even had race ramps because the car was low. Most towing companies do not have race ramps. They were also careful to not damage my side skirts...I'm sooo thankful for that too. Again, I was impressed and to all the car guys out there don't worry about your car they got you! My car is 4 inches off the ground so it's low. They get 5 stars from me on this tow and customer service for sure and I'm saving them in my contacts for future work if needed. read more

They don't drag your vehicle they carry your vehicle. The drivers are friendly and courteous. 100% for Tip Tow. read more

Mahalo Eli for your awesome and friendly customer service and for saving me! Prompt professional service!

Last night I got a complete flat. Roadside assistance gave me an ETA of over an hour wait time. I was by myself, parked in a dark, isolated area in Waipahu. Within minutes, I got a call from Eli saying he'd be there in 15 minutes. He was quick, courteous, professional, and kind enough to NOT shame my dirty mom car. Shoutout to whoever Servco Service dept contracts their courtesy roadside assistance with. This was my first time using this service and I was fortunate that Tip Tows answered the request. Thank you! read more

It was a pleasant surprise to have such a pleasant towing experience, which is usually up there with root canals with me. My tow guy communicated his ETA with me and was efficient once he began the process of towing my truck. My mom and I rode in his truck to the mechanic and had an enjoyable ride and chat with him. Tip Tows really lived up to catering to our sensitive towing needs! read more

Tip Tows - Tip Tows in action - Towing Near Me - Kapolei, Hawaii

Came back from a 6 month work trip to a flat tire, dead battery and cracked windshield but when USAA dispatched Tip Tows to help replace my flat, it ended up being the smoothest process I've ever had with this kind of thing! Super fast and friendly service and I only waited 30 mins from the other side of the island! Huge relief after coming home from a long, exhausting trip. read more

Ok first of Ms.Halona, it really shows your inexperience as a manager that you don't own your employees mistakes. How is it privilege, when you could have simply decline the job. Was it my choice that Geico picked you? Of corse not. So stop making this about privilege, and excuses of being a manager. Did I choose for a flat bed? My answer was I don't know what is needed but the tires are stick with 255/35R20 front tire and a 285/30R20 rear tire. Now tell me do I need a flat bed? I don't know! It's not my job to decided, but hoping with your experience you would know. But wait, this is integrity? Seriously? Get a clue! Thirds part was that your tow truck driver never says anything to no one, but just leaves the key fob inside the car. Keep in mind that this a keyless fob. So YOU CANT LOCK THE CAR WITH THE KEY FOB INSIDE! The driver could have gave the key fob to someone in charge or let us know that the key fob was still inside the car You could have taken the better position by simply apologizing, and lessons learned. But you making about entitlement, privilege and integrity? Sounds like you got some serious learning of simple customer service read more

Keoni, was the service person for my car. He was totally customer centered and extremely professional! He kept me informed of the ETA and sounded very personable throughout the whole stressful ordeal! read more

My car died and needed to be towed to get serviced. It was in an apartment parking that needed to be maneuvered in neutral and moved down a narrow ramp to the street level. I really wish I remember the driver's name, I think (Keoni?), and he was wonderful. He was friendly, helpful and mostly knowledgeable in what he was doing. I had to cancel another tow earlier from a different company because they couldn't or wouldn't try to get my car out of my building's parking structure because of the low clearance in the height. He was on time and called me promptly when he said he would and delivered me and my car to my mechanic safely and professionally. God forbid if I need a towing anytime soon, I'll make sure to call this company. Thank you Keoni..... read more

Geico dispatched Tip Tows and I couldn't be more thankful! Keoni kept me in the loop of where he was and his ETA. When he got to my car, he greeted me with a friendly attitude quickly jump started it. Originally I thought I was going to have to have it towed after a neighbor tried jumpstarting but glad he figured to try again. Mahalo nui for great customer service! read more

GEICO lockout services dispatched Tip Tows.... Legit. Nicest tow truck driver to ever help me!

I'm astound at how amazing, and quick Tip Tows is!! I spoke to Halona and she got me a driver calling me in the next few minutes. Now, I know this is typical but what happened after the call is what made the service CHEF'S KISS! AJ was extremely professional, courteous, straight to the point and made sure to communicate with me in a way that put my anxious mind at ease. He told me he would get to my car in two hours and I could not be there so I left the keys in the car for him. He was there within the two hours as stated and gave me an update every step of the way. When he got to my house, he found it easily. I live in a neighborhood where it all looks the same, and the street name is throughout the entire subdivision. He understood my directions and typically people don't so I really appreciate that! Thank you so much, Halona and AJ for the OUTSTANDING AND QUICK SERVICE! I was in a jam and y'all pulled through so quickly. I love it!! CALL TIP TOWS. read more

My Porsche 911 had an Instant Flat on the H1 and I needed a tow and I requested a flatbed. Tip Tows showed up quicker than expected with a flatbed for the win! The Driver "Keoni", was perfect, professional, efficient, courteous and friendly. He quickly and safely secured my car and knew exactly where and how to transport with care. I have had a lot of car issues in my life and normally would not go out of my way to write a review of a tow truck driver. But I would say this, if I had a loved one with a car issue stuck on the side of the road and Keoni from Tip Tows came to rescue them. you should now they are in good safe hands and would be treated the way you would want them to be treated. The truck showed up with the right tools and the driver with the correct knowledge and good personality. Thank you so much! for making something negative, seem not so bad. read more
