5 STAR SERVICE ALL THE WAY! Poor babes had some bike issues and stalled out on her way to work. After checking online and calling a few other shops with no response, she found Lopez Towing and Mike Lopez came to save the day! Not only was it a sigh of relief since it was during the morning rush hour, but Mike was informative AND RESPONSIVE; all greatly appreciated. We honestly couldn't have had a better experience. Wait time was reasonable since it was around 7am heading east, but Mike was courteous enough to stay well within the estimated time of arrival (1-1.5hrs) and even gave her a heads up text when he was close by. When Mike arrived, he was so friendly and took his time safely loading the new baby onto the flat bed. Mike is fantastic. We had an unusual, off-road situation that required some specialized equipment. Mike arranged for a second truck to make the extraction possible, advised on the best approach with insurance, and kept us up-to-date on the progress (we were not on-site) with lots of texts and pictures. He had both trucks out to the site within 30 minutes of my (cold) call. After the car was pulled out, he took it back to his shop and dealt with the insurance folks to get it to a repair shop. We needed a last minute tow from Kailua to Pupukea. Found Lopez Towing on Yelp, and called for a quote. I literally called 20+ towing companies in the Kailua/Kaneohe/Honolulu area. For the same job, the other tow companies wanted at least $100-$150 more than Lopez Towing had quoted us. The driver was just finishing up a call when I called, and was in Kapolei. He made it out to Kailua in a little under an hour (at 5pm on a friday.. not bad, right?) Very professional, easy-going guy; approachable and friendly. Very few tow truck companies deserve a five star rating. Lopez towing is one of those companies. My truck had a flat and it had to get towed from Ewa Beach to down by the airport. I called up Mike and he gave me an honest time of about 45 minutes and a quote over the phone. He was there in about 35 minutes and very helpful. He was a cool person to talk too and let me ride with him while my truck was towed to the shop. He knew what he was doing and where he was going. His price was very fair. If you EVER need a tow job, give Lopez towing a call. You will be dealing with a honest and hardworking individual, not some jerk just out to take your money. I called around to multiple tow companies prior to giving Mr. Lopez a call, the other companies were kind of rude on the phone. Mr. Lopez was very courteous and professional over the phone and in person. When I called and got a quote from him, he explained what he charges and why there might be an addition charge for the dolly, he said it would take about 1 hour for him to get up to my car to tow it to the dealership, I think it took him a little less than 1 hour. When he arrived he had the car ready to go with in 20 minutes. Hands down best service I've had with a tow company on this island. A very nice man to work with. Made the process easy and affordable. They're very flexible with availability too. That afternoon I discovered that my car wasnt going to be able to run after work, and they were able pick it up after I closed shop a few hours later, didnt even have to wait. Great customer service.
