Multiple good experiences here with pedicures. I haven't ever gotten my nails done before so it's hard to say. The last time I came in about an hour before closing and my gel pedicure messed up and they fixed it even though it my nail tech was getting out later. I didn't feel rushed and they were very reassuring that they'd like me to leave a happy customer. Overall very satisfied and I always come back here for pedicures. I've had multiple nail techs and they've all been good, no complaints about any of them. My girls have enjoyed their nails and have found the manicures last as long as any other places we've been too. Give them a chance if you're new to the area. read more

They ripped gel polish off my bare nails and now my nail beds hurt so badly. I've been to this salon almost monthly for the past 3 years. If I had written this last month, it likely would have been 4 stars...not after my last experience. I typically have only gotten regular polish with my pedicures and they have been good about fixing the occasional ingrown toenail that was bothersome, so I haven't experienced such nail butchery before, but I have a very difficult time getting gel off at home so I thought I could go to the salon that I had previously trusted. I was so very wrong. If you wear gel polish, don't come here to get it removed. They will take half of your nail thickness off with it. Finally found a nail salon in Maple Valley that I love! I got a shellac mani and I couldn't be more please! I moved to Maple Valley a year and half ago and have been struggling to find a place did not just a good job, but a great job; Tip and Toe has filled that spot. I called and made an appointment for an hour later that day, and I'm glad I did, as a lot of walk-ins came right before I did. Even with the multiple walk-ins, I was seated right away, and the walk-ins waited no more than 10 minutes, which I was quite impressed with. They have a great selection of nail color, both shellac and traditional, everything from classic pinks and reds, to bright and glitter options. I opted for a champagne glitter polish over a natural pink and it turned out fabulously! I will definitely be going pack for a pedi next week! read more

In the summer and during the season for High School dances I recommend making an appointment if you are tight on time because you can wait up to 2 hours. They do a great job and are fair priced. I had a pedicure and the powder dip manicure. The service was efficient, not especially pampering, and the end result was fine. This review would have warranted three or four stars if it wasn't for the unsanitary tools. Once I saw that they were reusing disposable files and buffers and that the manicure tools weren't being cleaned between uses, I should have walked out. But I didn't. I allowed them to reuse all of their tools on me. The technician drew blood when filing too close to my cuticle. And I'm sure that tool got reused on the person after me. That moment made me realize that, from now on, I'm going to ensure the salon uses a new nail file and buffer and freshly cleaned manicure tools for each client. read more

I came here on recommendation from a friend and it's also very close to my workplace. The experience was great, my nails turned out beautiful and the price was perfect. My only problem is within 4 days a nail completely popped off.. 2 days later I lost another nail. I went and got the 2 fixed because I had just gotten them done, and it was only $5. Within another few days another nail completely popped off. None of them broke, which obviously would've been my fault, but just an accidental tap too hard and the nail popped off in one piece. I'm just really disappointed because I love the outcome of my nails, but the length that they lasted is so upsetting especially for how much I paid. Update: after another 2 nails falling off (5 in total at this point) I decided it wasn't even worth it and took all my acrylics off. Each nail popped off with little effort, even the ones that got redone a week ago. I've never been so unsatisfied with a set of nails in my life. read more

I went to Tip and Toe because my best friend was getting married and she all wanted us to get our nails done together. I got a shellac french manicure and it looks amazing! The white tip is painted on perfectly and I put my nails through hell all weekend and they still look great. The girl who did my nails was friendly and patient. They were super busy for mid day Friday, but they got to me quickly. I live in Seattle, so I'm bummed that I won't be able to frequent tip and toe very often, but I highly recommend it to anyone whose in the area! read more

Went here for my first and probably only time because I was in the area, also on Memorial Day. They had a great flow going with people constantly coming in but I didn't feel rushed at all. They really take their time with the leg and arm massages which is nice when you're in your 3rd trimester of pregnancy, lol! I enjoy this Nail Salon, the workers are nice and friendly! I have been going to the salon for the last couple of months I don't have any complaints. The Spa Pedicures come with a hot rock treatment and a sugar scrub and a great massage too. The Shelac Manicure last about two weeks and there are a variety of colors to choose from. I'm so glad to have Tip and Toe Paradise around the corner! I highly recomend this place. The only thing to keep in mind is that when you get a pedi and a mani, they will do them at the same time. This place is close to home so I stop to get my eyebrows and lip waxed after work. I have been here multiple times and the wax job usually turns out like it should. I only am giving them three stars because they never wash their hands before touching my face. I would prefer they did since I have really sensitive skin and break out easily. Also, they don't clean your eyebrow or lip area before waxing. I use eyebrow makeup so they don't even clean it off to see what they need to wax first. Lastly, the bed you lay on always has other people's hair on it. I have learned to always ask for a new sheet and towels on the bed. It may seem high maintenance but I don't want to lay on other peoples hair and sweat or whatever was on their clothes. I'm sure I'll be back because it is convenient and cheap. But every time I go I wish I hadn't. read more

My daughter went in last Friday for a gel manicure. The color, which was a beautiful pastel/pale green now has brown coloring all over on all nails. I have taken pictures of my daughters nails. I have been to this establishment multiple times and never had a problem, besides the occasional long wait. However this weekend I visited for a pedicure. The day after my left big toe was very sore, I figured they probably cut a little too close, no big deal it happens. But the second day my toe hurt to walk on and throbbed all day at work. Upon taking a look, my toe was red and very hot. When pressure was applied pus literally came out of my nail bed! I guarantee they are not sterilizing their instruments! I will never be back! Stopped in today for a brow wax while waiting for my massage appointment. I was greeted promptly and was prepared to wait the 10 minutes I was told. I didn't have to wait that long before being waved back to the treatment room. The woman who did the wax was pretty rude (short with me) and didn't smile once, which, from other reviews, seems to be a common thing here -- or we've all dealt with the same person. The wax was fine, the price $10. I guess if I can stand to be treated this way again I'll be back for a cheap brow wax. :-/ Just to update - after I finally got home and had a chance to look in the mirror (was not offered that at the salon and I should've asked), I found several strays I had to take care of myself. read more

I gave this nail salon a one star because that's what I believe it deserves. I went in for a fill, I made an appointment, and it was a 35 minute wait. Hopefully they're not always like that, but it happened twice.. They must not write down the appointments or they fake write them down? Anyways, I asked to keep my square shape and length-- they did not do either. I left with much rounded and shorter nails. The gal kept answering the phone and, honestly, her phone got more attention than my nails. It was not that busy, they were short on staff is my guess. the lady answering phones let a different gal paint my nails and she did not do a solid job. there was the whole side of my nail that did not get painted and a slight gap between my cuticle and the acrylic. needless to say, I will not be coming back... This place gets packed! Wait times for walk in was up to an hour but people kept waiting. Thankfully we had appointments! All the ladies working were nice and very efficient. Everything was clean and sanitized. Which is so nice to see! I love that they use the liners for the foot pools!!! For a mani/pedi they book about a hour and affordable price! They do decent work, and you do get a nice massage. But the paint job isn't the best, doesn't go to the edges. My biggest complaint would be while my finger nails looked great when I left the polish quickly started chipping within the day! Which I know chipping is normal but should of lasted at least a day!! My toes however will probably stay on for weeks! One of the girls in the party smudged her toe polish and they quickly fixed it for her when she asked! read more

I walked in on a Sunday afternoon and was seated immediately. They didn't seem busy but it picked up after I got there. They seem to handle a crowd pretty well. They need some background music badly. The woman taking care of me was very nice but enthralled in the texans vs patriots game. Not sure why. I asked if she was from Houston and she said no. Like she barely took her eye off her phone while I was there. It was fine, she still did a good job and I'm a pretty easy customer. I think I got a much longer leg massage because if it. The place is clean and tidy. Bathroom could use a little tlc but overall decent and tidy. $24 for a real nice pedi and massage, I'll take it. This is my go-to for mani/pedis. I've never had a gel manicure last as long as I did when I got it done here, almost 3 weeks! They do a great job, take their time, with shoulder/arm massages during the manis and leg massages during the pedis. They also use liners in their spa tubs, which, I mean, gives a little peace of mind. I know this is personal preference, but I love that it is quiet and I don't feel guilty for reading a book instead of chatting. However, I was leaving on vacation and was convinced by one of the employees to get a bikini wax there. NEVER. AGAIN. I have never had a worse rash or ingrowns than after that. They use the typical hot wax that you would get on your brows (love them for brows, no complaints there) and major, major, major ouch. Pain. I will never make the mistake of not going to a place with hard wax again. read more

I am very pleased with my visit here. Lynn did my nails. I got solar nails with the colored/ sparkly tips. Finally a great place to go to get my nails done! Not only was the place cute and clean, Lynn was so nice and professional & FUNNY!
