I walked in to Gina's yesterday about 6pm with no appointment but desperately hoping they could get me in. Another local nail salon had done a full set on me the day before and the work was sloppy and did not look nice...with my 20 year reunion and a dance recital coming up, I was hopeful Gina's did quality work and could fix my nails. My expectations were FAR exceeded! They ended up having to take my nails off and redo a full set. Jenny was extremely gentle when removing the acrylics and putting new tips on, I was worried it would be painful or traumatic to my nails but not at all. Next Sean prepped my nails by cutting/shaping, and again he was gentle but detailed and gave me the exact shape and length I wanted. They also suggested I do almond shape vs. coffin and it looks so much better on my hands. Finally, Gina did my acrylic and paint job. My nails are absolutely flawless!!! Perfectly shaped, perfectly smooth, no glue or excess acrylic left around my cuticles. She suggested I do French with the pink vs the whole nail and I LOVE it! I'm so thankful they were able to save me from the crappy nails! Haha. Also every staff member I interacted with was nice and friendly, the vibe there was just positive which is important to me. I've heard good stuff about this place and I decided to stop by. They were pretty busy when I walked in but I still decided to wait. There was a 30min wait, I was added to the list and walked to QFC for some little Starbucks loving. The ladies at this place were nice and attentive. Their chairs were very comfortable, even their couch. I could have waited there another 30min haha. The place was pretty nice and clean. I decided to go with Snow White nails today. They turned out pretty good. They weren't thick nor oddly shaped. They have lots of colors and designs to choose from. I will be trying out a pedicure next time, the massage chairs seemed neat. They have a TV for your viewing pleasure. They do offer wine to a party of 8 or more and would rather get their tips in cash. I paid with my card and paid the tip in cash. She did a fabulous job. I came here for acrylic French tips and a pedicure, and they went above and beyond. Sean took his time on my nails and made sure everything was even and explained all my options for French tips which was very helpful since it was my first time getting them! They did a sea salt scrub and hot stone massage with the pedicure and it was so relaxing. They really take their time and make their services last and make it a whole experience. I paid $45 for the full set and $35 for the pedicure and massage. Completely worth it, I recommend! read more

I had a mani shellack and pedicure and I was satisfied. Gina was friendly and she actually did my nails. Her staff is ok, language barrier as usual. One thing that stood out is that they do not use the plastic inserts in their foot spa tubs. I asked them about it and the workers shrugged it off. I'm still looking for a great nail shop but they'll do. Update - returned to Gina's and much improvement. Gina & her nail techs were friendly & attentive. My nails look great, first time using powder dip. They have been using the pedicure spa inserts and the total atmosphere was a very pleasant experience while complying to the P2 regulations. read more

I had an amazing experience here! This place was the best! I called at 7:05 and they close at 7:30; they still saw me and like one more person 10mins after I came! It was nice to know that they weren't pushing people to the door so they can get home! I got done at 8:30! And SEAN! Stopped by here on a Saturday since I was at my moms and this place is near her house. I've gone in the past and have had good service. The first thing I noticed going in was that there was NO ONE there. Its Saturday so that's a pretty bad sign. Stopped at my usual place in Fife before coming up to Kent (Nail Arts, great salon!) and there was a 45 min wait which is why I ended up at Ginas. There were 4 staff there, 2 reclining on the sofa and another one hanging out in the back. The older woman who did my nails was on her cell phone. Motioned for me to sit down, but did not get off her phone. I said I wanted a shellac manicure so she handed me the wheel of colors, but still did not hang up the phone. She did not ask me if I wanted my nails cut down, what shape I wanted, etc, because she was clearly on a very important phone call and the other staff members were busy reclining. Told her I changed my mind and just wanted a clear manicure. She then spoke to me for the first time and said "Why?" In any case, I will not be back. Hope they enjoy talking on the phone and reclining. They will have a lot of time to do it when they go out of business. read more

I've driven past this business probably 40 times for its right on my way to work, its literally 2 minutes from my house! I finally wanted to give their $10 manicure a shot! I really do enjoy painting my own nails but its nice to have someone else do the labor for you every once in awhile. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon, and they were busy as could be, but they said it was only a 10 minute wait so I picked out my color sat down and caught up on my junk magazines! I was happy to notice all of the customers were happy, smiling, and getting great service! They have 6 pedi stations and 6 mani stations (if I recall) and they were all full with happy ladies!!! My fiancé was across the street getting a quick hair cut and he popped over just as we were starting. The nail tech was so happy to pull up a chair for him right next to me! We all giggled, talked, and i got an amazing manicure in a great timely manner! I couldn't believe it was only $10. The service was great, people were friendly and the company around me was awesome! I will be returning for numerous manis and pedis! You also get a deal if you do both there. If I recall it is $27 for both! You cannot beat it!!! They also offer gel, acrylic, and waxing services! This was my first time here at Gina's salon. I just needed a pedicure real quick and they were the only place open late. I saw online their salon pictures and thought it looked like a cute salon, I'll just check it out. Called to make sure they weren't busy, the guy said come on in. I walked in and it's such a cute relaxing salon. I noticed they were sanitizing and cleaning for COVID like every second which was cool to see, cause not every place does that consistently. Gina came over to me and introduced herself and asked my name, which was sweet and personable. Usually nail people just want you to pay and go but Gina was super sweet and professional I could tell she knew what she was doing. I decided to pop into Gina's nail salon after work one evening in preparation for a big event I had going on that weekend. I forewent my usual nail salon due to rush hour traffic and decided to check out Gina's for the convenience of it being down the street from my neighborhood. Anyway, I just wanted a simple soft white in shellac with a bit of shimmer to it. Perhaps it was because the lady spoke almost no English whatsoever that contributed to the experience, but what I wanted and what I received were two completely different things. She chose the whitest white that they had in stock and proceeded to paint my nails. I couldn't help but notice it looked like she was painting my nails with white-out. The first layer went on very thin and streaky, and after I pulled them out from underneath the lamp, she wanted to already apply the shimmery layer on top. So I asked her to at least apply one more coat of white, which she did. After she finished, I looked at my nails and realized that it was just hopeless. The nail polish was uneven and sloppy.
