I previously left a negative review for this salon but decided to give it another chance, hoping my first experience was an exception. Unfortunately, this visit confirmed that the issues are consistent. I requested a light yellow nail color and confirmed the shade multiple times. I was repeatedly told that the color would appear lighter after curing under the UV lamp, which was simply not true. The final result was completely different from what was promised. On top of that, the application was poorly done. my nails were uneven. When I called to ask if I could come back in to have the color corrected, the salon refused to fix their mistake unless I paid an additional $30. This is unacceptable given that the issue was due to their lack of accuracy and quality control. The interaction over the phone was also very rude and unprofessional, which only added to the frustration. read more

I went here for a pedicure on my day off. I am so glad I did! The online appointment option is amazing. My entire experience was comfortable and relaxing. Bella was my nail technician. She was so nice and really took her time on my nails. Even after when I was under the dryer, she checked my nails and did a few touch ups because she wanted to make sure they were perfect. Once that's done your natural nail will break and take months to grow healthy again. I paid for them to ruin my natural nails. And the worst part is instead of admiring her mistake and apologizing, the technician got mad and talked in laud tone to all the other technicians on their language. Went in for a dip mani which peeled in one week, despite being told it would last four. They told me to come in and they'd fix it right away. Half way through the "fix" I was told it would cost 35 dollars. I asked for the owner and was told she was on vacation. I was then told that because I couldn't remember the color number I would have to pay; however if I could remember the exact color she could redo them for free. I literally couldn't make this up if I tried. Photo of my nails is how I left the salon. This is their idea of fixing the nails in just spent 40 bucks on. This place is dirty and has gone way down hill. The last two times I went there were employees sleeping in the chairs with their shoes off. Go to passion nails instead. Note that the newly opened Majestic Nails is also owned by the same people, so if you don't want to be totally ripped off maybe stay clear of them too! read more

I've been coming here for dip powder for a few months now, and I'll never go anywhere else! I always ask for my nail technician, Salinna. She is incredibly talented, super precise about the color and shape, and never disappoints! I am very meticulous about my nails and have never once left the salon thinking they were less than perfect. All the technicians are super nice and fun to be around. The place is quite pretty too. How do you explain how a salon is dirty? Visible dirt, nails particles on counter? Where you dry your hands, counter that was dirty???? Not cleaned in between customers and visibly dirty and it felt horrible. There are guidelines that you are suppose to follow. If I could give no stars I would. We called a week in advance and requested for 7 pedicures and 4 dip powder manicures. We got there a little before 3pm (scheduled appointment) and all technicians were with a client. I was looking forward to this mani pedi all week just to be disappointed. Their system sucks and for a group like this which took over their entire salon, their manager/owner should've been available to help guide this. Their system was to take a male pedi and a gel pedi first. I've worked in a 5 star spa before and it made much more sense to start the 4 females first while the males waited so we can start our manicures while they were doing their pedicures and we would finish roughly at the same time. Or they could have gotten all the males done first to get them out of the salon and have the girls start and end at the same time. The way the person who took our appointments down made it seem like we ALL had appointments starting at 3pm. Fast forward, by 4pm everyone was being seen besides me. Apparently my nail technician, Ada, came "late," and didn't get the memo that we all requested for the spa deluxe and the girls were getting gel on top. From 3pm up until 4pm I was sitting there doing nothing while the rest of the party were either done with their pedicures or nearly done. I've also communicated with the other technicians that I wanted ombré with tips and dip powder multiple times and showed them photos. They spoke among themselves and literally mentioned "ombré," at least 5-8 times. They asked the girls in my party to see what ethnicity I was possibly to see if I understood them. I've informed them I had gel on my hands and toes and that I needed to take off and it made sense if they soaked them in acetone since I was already sitting there but they insisted they didn't. All the nail technicians insisted me they can do the ombré...come to find out no one in their entire salon knew how to do ombré but that's bizarre because ombre is on their menu. The gel pedicure was okay. Not only did she "did not know," we were all doing the spa deluxe pedis, there was barely any scrubbing which defeats the whole point of a pedicure... if that was the case I would've just done a change of polish. The application of the gel on my toes was so sloppy and all over my cuticles, it looked ridiculous. I didn't complain about it because she was "late," and needed to start on my ombré nails. Plus she apologized multiple times for not giving me the spa deluxe pedi. Just a suggestion, but next time maybe it's a better idea to confirm with your clients what they want before you start anything. Fast forward, we go to the manicure station and she requested me to show her the photo of the nails I want again, so I did. She later took a picture of the picture I showed her with her phone. She insisted she could do it although she was super hesitant at first. I trusted her... at first. However the longer I watched her work, the more I just wanted to tell her to stop and walk out of the salon. The service I got for my manicure is NOT what I asked for. If you don't know how to perform a service do not tell me you do. I've mentioned I would gladly choose a solid color dip powder if the ombré is too difficult, but instead she insisted she could do it but it won't look the same as the picture. Throughout the whole time, every nail technician was hovering over her and correcting her. Not to mention, I was never given a "manicure." No soak, no care for my cuticles, no filing on my real nails. She jumped right to taking off the prior gel I had on and right to gluing the nail enhancements (tips). The entire time she kept saying this color pink is what is in the photo I presented and this pink she put on me is nothing close to the nude in the ombré photo I wanted. I was so fed up with her constantly messing up and not owning up to it, I told her to just stop and I was "content," with the solid pink color. I just wanted to leave. I got there a little before 3pm (our scheduled appointment) and did not leave until 8pm. Everyone in our party had already left. After consulting with my party, everyone seemed content with their pedicures but there were numerous problems with our dip manicures. The customer service we received was unacceptable. Probably the worst experience I've received from any salon. We drove from south of Boston (over an hour) for a mani pedi I am so unhappy with. I was looking forward to this all week and was truly let down. I would highly recommend staying away from Tip 2 Toe salon if you could. So many cheaper and better salons out there. The whole reason we booked these appointments together was to be together. I left with sloppy gel application on my toes and cuticles and thick failed ombré nails. I was so embarrassed with my nails I was debating to go to another salon the following day to get them removed. read more

When I arrived I was lucky enough to have Chanda take care of my mani/pedi. And when I say "take care" I'm not kidding! She is very skilled and meticulous and she is all about the customer care that I find lacking in many nail salons. I returned about three weeks later and made my appointment with Chanda and I was not disappointed! This is absolutely my new go to place! On a Covid note...this place is meticulously clean. Let me be very clear, I'm completely fine and comfortable being around people speaking a different language. I have been a language teacher for many years. However, avoid this place if you want to be treated like a nuisance while your nail tech socializes and laughs very loudly ONLY with her colleagues, while barely says one word to you. This tech speaks English very well, but chose not to engage with me at all. I felt like an intruder in their social time instead of a valued customer. I also work in the beauty industry and would NEVER treat people like like this. I guess that's why it's so upsetting, because they get away with treating people like this. I been going to a lot of nails salon, I mostly just go to any place that is near by. But ever since I discover tip2toes I haven't cheat on them since. I even got my nails done there for my wedding day. Linda the nail technician did such an amazing job. Every other nails salon always has a problem shaping my nails. (Because my pointing finger is a bit crooked). At tip2toes I didn't even have to mention my crooked nails. They shape it perfectly . Very fast service which was great but the reason why I gave it 3/5 was that they were consistently disgregarding what I wanted for my nails. I wanted gel but they kept asking me if I wanted powder. They also kept asking me if I wanted chrome (and I automatically said no because I personally don't like the look of chrome). Then he disregarded my answer and said well let's try to do chrome on one nail. If a client says no the first time, please respect their decision. I have been going here since they opened. For the most part, I have had a good experience. But there is one tech that does not do a very good job particularly with acrylics. My nails look horrible as she layered 4 coats of polish on top of the fill. Ive attached what I wanted and also what the result was.
