I've been coming to color nails for about 4 months now. Alex is always my nail tech, for Dip nails. He is so incredibly talented and my nails always last 3-4 weeks (dip) and look amazing. I never get cut, I always get an appointment and pricing is more than fair in today's economy. Everyone is professional, courteous , and friendly. It's nice to be able to have a conversation with your technician while being treated like royalty. Love salem color nails! I'm a regular for a gel mani & semi regular for a pedi! They do a great job and are so kind and courteous! They have the best prices in town. The salon is always clean and they stayed late last night just to accomodate me! My husband came in for his first pedi and they were very very patient and made sure he felt comfortable which made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. I've been to Salem Color Nails twice. The second time I also brought my Mom. I'm very happy with the staff! Their work is perfect and they are all friendly and lovely. I've been to nail salons many times where the nail tech barely spoke to me, but spoke to co-workers constantly. The staff is very friendly and it's a such a relaxing and enjoyable time. I was super excited to finally get my nails done... however i was very disappointed with the result.... I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. My pedicure came out ok.. you can tell where she didn't cover the nail with multiple layers. My manicure is awful... for gel my nails should not be coming up or peeling off on their own with in a week... i can Gladly say the workers were very pleasant however i will not not be back for a second time. My nails came out alright, the square shape I wanted wasn't great and I wasn't offered to wash my hands right after filing my nails and getting my cuticles cut. The service was 30 minutes when I'm usually in a nail salon for 1 hour for a regular gel manicure. This place is the best! I have been going to this new salon for several months now and have nothing but the highest praise. They do a wonderful job. My nails always look perfect when I leave and stay that way for 2 - 3 weeks. I don't touch them inbetween visits because there is no need to when they are done right. Henry (the owner) and his wife are experts at doing nails and trully understand what customer service is all about. I usually go as a walk-in without a pre-arranged appointment and they are always accomodating, friendly and make me feel welcome. And unlike other salons where the technicians are often pre-occupied talking to each other or on the cell phone, they actually pay attention to me while they are doing my nails. I appreciate feeling as if I am a customer instead of an interruption to their day. Also the salon is always neat, bright and comfortable. I did not know anyone who worked here before I went for the first time, so believe this review is honest, objective and unsolicited. Just try Salem Color Nails and see for yourself. I have been going here now for about 3 months and every single time... my nails come out perfect! I am extremely particular with my nails... I am the type of customer who nit picks everything. Henry understands and is very patient with me. He makes sure my nails come out just the way I want them too. The salon is very clean... very organized and it is a great big wide open salon with plenty of room to feel relaxed. They have hundreds and hundreds of colors to choose from and if they don't have a particular color, they will order it so that it is readily available next time you arrive. The artwork that they do on the nails is so beautiful. I wish I was that creative! In between every fill, my nails do not chip, crack or lift. Henry was rushed, unfocused (kept watching tv) and very rough. I got a shellac French manicure. Made three of my cuticles bleed in the very beginning causing the rest of the manicure, with alcohol solution used frequently, to be very painful. He didn't offer to adjust the price despite this experience. Will not be returning. Tried to post photos of my scabbed cuticles but couldn't. read more

I should have paid attention to the reviews. The nail attendant was more interested in the Good Morning America show than what he was doing. While fanning to dry my toes he was watching the tv and not even getting the air near my feet. The color is all uneven One toe is darker than the other for he did not put the same amount of coats on each toe. I am done Will never go back no wonder no one was in there. read more

I have never been so disappointed with the "new" ownership. The price of my pedicure went up from $25.00 to $30.00. Oh well. I was still going to have my pedicure. While having my pedicure my chair was not turned on vibrate nor was I asked. I put it on myself. The girl working behind the desk tried to over sell my pedicure for $40.00 with an extensive paraffin and massage. ""IT lasts 45 min" I said no politely. The tech dropped a tool on the floor picked it up and proceeded to use it. Then I was sat under the dryer and the same girl behind the desk came over 10 minutes later told me I was dry and have a good day. I was the only one in the salon. My big toe is smeared. Very disappointed. I called and asked to speak with the owner. Apparently I should have paid for the 40 dollar pedicure and maybe they would have let me dry.
