I have been going to Hollywood nails for years and recently they have changed to scheduling appointments online. Over a month ago I tried to do a walk in and I was told nothing was available and I would have to make an appointment online. I went in again one day as I saw there were no cars out front and was able to get a pedicure. Yesterday my daughter who is going off for her junior year in college said wouldn't it be nice if we all went tomorrow and got spa treatments at Hollywood nails, and me and my wife were like awesome idea, but we have to make an appointment online. My daughter went online and booked 3 pedicures and 2 manicures for 11 AM today, Sunday. We walked in and there were two ladies sitting with Amy one was getting her nails done. Amy asked if I was there for a pedicure and I said yes the whole family here we booked appointment online. She said that she didn't show our appointment and then my daughter pulled it up on her phone and she said oh but that's for one person. So my daughter showed her again how they were three pedicures and two manicures. Now I've been getting pedicures for many years now and I have never seen one person get 3 pedicures and 2 manicures, so that just tells me that they don't know how to use the app properly and I find it hard to believe that we are the first people to experience this confusion on Hollywood nails end. I looked at the app and went through the motions of making an appointment and I was able to check 3 different pedicures, selecting any available technician but in no section of the app was there a place for the other people's names or how many people, but I selected three completely different pedicures, which obviously one person cannot get. Again, I guarantee we are not the first people to experience this issue so shame on them for not paying more attention to the booked appointments. I can tell you that I will never go there again, after all these years and the generosity & flexibility I have shown, only to be repaid by being asked to wait. I did wait for about 30 minutes I guess, and then I just said heck with it. I gave my daughter money for a tip, and I walked out the door. My wife called me to let me know that I would've had to wait over 2 hours as they just finished about 10 minutes ago. The woman that Amy was working on finished up and then some other lady come running through the door and said thanks for calling me. I jumped in the shower and then ran down here, which tells me that she must've called her and told her it was slow in there come on down, so obviously they have no control over the app. They have no idea what they are doing with this online booking system. It is a shame because I liked it there, but rather than take ownership that she screwed up and didn't check the appointment she blamed my daughter for not doing it, right. She wanted her to write in the notes three people but one person cannot get three pedicures so...
