Had a few gel manicures recently there and have been very satisfied with the product and service. Thefeet lasted a few months and the hands were beautiful for a month! Then I had another manicure that 2 nails chipped within a few days. I called to see if they could redo the chipped nails. Moon took me right in and replaced all the nails at no charge...and they lasted another month. Great service! read more

HORRIFYING. I've come to this nail salon many, many times. But I will NEVER go back. Last night I called to make an appointment, I asked for 12:30 but was told 1 would be better. Granted, I called late, but I was expecting it to go to voicemail and to be able to make an appointment over the machine. When I arrived at 1 I was told by the woman that took my appointment, "I was so drunk last night! I didn't know if you said 1 or 1:30!" I was understanding and even apologized for calling late. I sat and waited for 30 minutes while The techs around me took other customers. Then at 2pm the first woman finally took me. When I showed her the design I wanted, she asked if I'd be doing gel or regular, I asked for regular and she told me it would be impossible. She said gel was an extra $10 and insisted I could only get them done how I wanted if I got gel. So I finally resolved to just get a solid color. Finally she started doing my nails and said if I wanted them long (still cut basically in half from full tip length. I even brought my own polish.) I had to pay an extra $10. At this point I told her this was the worst experience I ever had here and I was considering writing a bad review. Instead of offering ANY consolation for my awful experience SHE KICKED ME OUT with tips glued on and continued to scream about how it was my fault because I missed her one call this morning to confirm the time. THESE EMPLOYEES DRINK ON THE JOB AND UP CHARGE ARBITRARILY. I will not be coming back. read more

This is my first time at this salon because it was a quick emergency fix, and I am so pleased! I went to another salon earlier today, per my friend's recommendation and was so unhappy with what I got. I got a full acrylic set and was left with a mess. They used the wrong polish and sent me away while it was still wet, causing it to smudge and chip. Then, left a bunch of excess acrylic under my nails, so much that it literally dug into my skin. The nails were really uneven/bumpy and all around just really crooked and weird. I quickly called this salon at 2:45 and was giving an appointment for 3:15. I'm not 100% sure of the lady's name that helped me but I think it was Moon. She welcomed me in and after looking at my nails, she explained why some things the other place did went wrong and what she could do to fix it. She was very kind and gentle with the whole thing and did absolutely amazing! She was not working with a very great canvas to start so I am so so impressed with how well she turned it around for me. The salon overall was very clean and nice, and all the other women working seemed super nice too! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back in the future!!! I ended up going here because of the good yelp reviews and someone at school recommended them as well. I asked for the owner, Moon, when I booked an appointment and she's super nice! She asks after everything if you like it. I usually end up disliking my nails at other places bc I don't speak up about the shape and length but she doesn't care if you don't like the shape and will fix them for you. I like my nails but they're a little shorter than I wanted which is my fault, not hers. I paid $43 for a full set. She said it's usually $38. They also make the acrylic thinner than other places which I like because it's more natural! read more

I love this salon. I have been coming here any time I need an emergency manicure - like the day before attending a wedding! Maleena always gives me a perfect mani and a great laugh every time! She's amazing. My most recent manicure I received from Aaeng - I didn't know what I wanted, and tried something new. The dip powder manicure she gave me- OMG! The BEST set I have ever gotten in my entire life. I want my nails to look like this all the time. I have been looking for a nail salon since moving my job. All the nail salons I have been to are obsessed with over-buffing the top of my already thin nails. It got to the point that my nails wouldn't grow and it was very painful. I don't do acrylics, I do gel nail color... that's it. I stopped going to get my nails done for a few months so they could heal. My nails finally weren't painful and they are growing long. I have naturally thin nails so buffing is just not good for them. So I decided to try this salon. I asked the girl not to over buff my nails. She did it anyway. Sure enough as soon as I put my nail in the light it was painful. Also they don't do hand massages with the lotion. She was a nice girl and I still left a nice tip, but I won't be going back. This salon and the ladies there are fabulous! I was visiting from out of town and I didn't have time to have my grown out nails dealt with before I left home, AND one was breaking off. I had just an hour while my sister was getting her hair done up the street, and I called Gorgeous Nails. When I called the first time, they didn't have availability until later in the day, which wouldn't work for me, unfortunately. Moon called me back within 5 minutes and said to just come in and they would take care of me. They did NOT disappoint! They got me in right away, removed my grown out gel polish, trimmed and shaped my nails, polished me up, and had me out the door in the short window I had. They even fixed my breaking nail so I wouldn't have one shorter than the rest, or have to chop all the long ones off! I was so grateful. The girls are also so sweet and full of conversation. We were chatting with the customer in the next seat over. The whole vibe was so fun and refreshing. If I was a local, this would be my forever nail salon!! read more

Truly a hidden gem! I've been on the hunt for a go to shop to get my nails done and this place does not disappoint. The entire team is funny and super friendly. Got a pedicure and I have an ingrown toe nail that's usually a pain to take out but the nail tech there were very gentle and ensured I was comfortable! I recently went to get a pedicure and nails, and I couldn't be happier! I got to have the owner named Moon and she is awesome. All the girls there are great and it's a family environment nice, fun and very hard working friends. They do all sorts of spa treatments but they do great nails! I was overdue for my pedicure and oh my she had me pain free very quickly and I still am two and a half weeks later! I was surprised that when I wanted to make a return appointment they wouldn't book it! They said call when I am ready! I was ready then but they were right how many set an appointment and never go back? I haven't because I have worked by appointment before and I try never to make them wait and I don't cancel or reschedule on them either. And you won't either, I honestly can't wait to go back, I need the estrogen fix! It's a fun place to be a girl! They do all the different finishes and they are beautiful! I will NOT recommend this place to anyone any longer . I have been going to this place for 2 years now and used to love it . But the owner Moon isn't accommodating at all with appointments even when a week in advance ?? She has treated my mother and I very unfairly requiring us to pay deposits when no other customer has paid one to book ?? I find that very weird for her to acquire a deposit from one customer but not all ? This place used to be great but Moon ( the owner) has been very unprofessional in front of her customers. I will no longer give them my business and they have now lost my friends / family & co-workers as customers. She claims the place is "walk-in friendly " which it states on the websites & at the salon but sends my mother away and has the audacity to ask her not to state what was wrong with her nails infront of other customers ? I don't know if her issue is personal but we've all gave GOOD BUSINESS , GOOD recommendations & TIPPED above so it's truly disappointing to have gone to this place for so long and be treated so unfairly. Yesterday was my first time at Gorgeous Nails and Spa. I didn't make an appointment (my own fault - (appointments are recommended) - but Moon still fit me in! I had to get my broken acrylic nails taken off and a new set. I am aware of how annoying this must have been & Moon did it with absolutely no complaints and no problems!
