This place has a lot of positives!!!! 1. They had appts available the same day. I called at 5 and schedule for 6. 2. The parking was convenient. My fiance was able to park right in front of the shop and drop me off. There are always spots available. 3. The shop was clean and spacious 4. The service here was excellent. I was getting both a manicure and a pedicure and a third lady who wasn't even doing my nails walked by and noticed I was wearing a sweater that was too warm and started fanning me. They also gave me a bottle of water and turned on the fan for me. (This was totally my fault I wore an unnecessarily warm sweater for what the weather called for). They ladies were also very gentle with my nails. They didn't tug my hand or file too deep. Just perfect! 5. They close at 7. I came at 6 and my lady stayed till 9 just to make sure my nail art was exactly the way I wanted it. My lady was also apologetic for making me stay late even though my design was obviously complicated and it was not at all her fault. The cherry on top is my nails look exactly like my inspo pic. 6. At the end of my 3 hour session I was charged an incredibly reasonably price. For selfish reasons I would like to keep this place a secret but I honestly can't recommend this place enough. I have walked by this spot at night on my way to sushi many times. Looking in the window they always appeared organized and clean. My daughter's semi formal is this week and she wanted a full set of acrylics. Without an appointment they took her right in and did a fantastic job. She is just in love with her new nails. They just lost me as a customer and I've been coming here every WEEK! They got a new credit card system and two weeks ago I had to sit and wait almost an hour for the owner to show up so he could trouble shoot the system. Last weekend I came with my sister and we BOTH had card issues. Hers is a chip card and mine is not- my bank is jdcu and hers is td. We had to wait for owner to come and trouble shoot again. The final comment last week was "next time you come just bring cash." It's 2017.. no. Today I came with my husband. We only wanted pedis - no nail polish. I'm 9 months pregnant and wanted the water and massage to help ease my foot and leg swelling. She forcefully took my nail polish off and argued when I said j didn't want a new nail polish job! Then proceeded to charge me full price for two pedicures when for one I didn't want a full pedi and my husband didn't get nail polish. So I paid fifty. Unreal. Then I go to pay- different card this time- and guess what. Another error message. The cards aren't being declined they are saying "invalid". Then I get scolded about how if I bring cash it would be better. And how it's only my card. No it's not- it's happened with three different bank accounts! It's unfortunate- Kim 2 is my favorite nail tech. But I will NOT be returning. read more

I have been to almost every nail salon in the northern Mass southern NH area looking for a salon that's consistently good. I've only been here one time but I am so impressed with their work I cannot be happier! I had a gel manicure and regular pedicure and three weeks later after having visited 3 countries including a each vacation where I was in and out of the water every day my nails have not even chipped. The only way you can even tell that my manicure have recent is that my nails have grown out. I highly recommend this place. I have recently relocated from Manchester, NH to Chelmsford, MA. I have been having manicures and pedicure at Cutie Nails since January 2019. When I started in January, I was in tough shape. I take a medicine for skin cancer that causes my skin to peel excessively and my fingernails were soft and would crack/split length wise. Not only do the nail technicians do excellent technical work, they are concerned with the health of your nails and skin. Kim put me on a regimen, provided aesthetic products for healthy skin and the prices at Cutie Nails are incredibly affordable. The skin on my hands and feet look presentably normal now, after struggling for over 10 years with the affects of my medication, I am so pleased with their work. Call ahead, they can be busy. My teenager who is mixed race came in with her friend who is also black and got horrible dirty looks and stares to the point she asked what the issue was. They took us on very short notice Saturday morning. It was my husband's first time getting a pedicure. They made him feel very comfortable. It is at the end of a strip mall-- kind of out of the way on the outskirts of Lowell in a busy area. There were some of the acrylic nail fumes near the end of our visit. I've never had to write a bad review before and I'm sorry to now. I'm new to the area and I was looking for a new eyebrow and nail salon. I got my eyebrows threaded next door (Shazi's, who did an excellent job). The woman at Shazi's recommended me to go next door to Cutie Nails for a manicure & pedicure. I don't get out much, never mind do anything nice for myself, since I'm a busy new mom. I was very unimpressed with Cutie Nails. No one at Cutie's understood English except a young pre-teen who was doing the translation for them. That was a bit frustrating because of the communication barrier. I received my pedicure first, which was very mediocre. She didn't spend a lot of time cleaning up my feet because I still have rough, cracked heals, and callouses all over my feet. I could have done a better job myself, without professional tools. She didn't really massage my feet/legs, like every other nail salon I have been to. I really look forward to the massaging because I'm on my feet all the time. The whole process was rushed and not relaxing. My manicure was also mediocre. She missed painting around the edges of my finger nails, which I didn't notice until I got home. THAT NIGHT my manicure all started chipping off. By the next day, every nail was chipped at least half-way off, if not more. I wanted to go back to get them fixed right away, but I had to take my 8-month old daughter to the hospital on Saturday and on Sunday's Cutie Nails are closed. I asked them if I could come back to get them fixed because I don't think the woman used a top coat on my nails since they all chipped the same day as my manicure. The woman said if I didn't come in now to get them fixed, then I'd have to pay $8.00 to get them fixed. Well, I can't go there right now because I'm home with my sick 8-month old, don't have a babysitter, nor a car to get there until after they close. I just called back & pleaded with her again, since, I spent money to pamper myself when I could have used that money to buy a microwave or something I needed for my new apartment! The woman at Cutie's still refused to help me nor fix my awful manicure. I am extremely disappointed I wasted all that money for nothing. My search will continue to find a good nail salon in this area. I will not be going to Cutie Nails again. read more

I personally had a great experience here. Walked in, wanted a pedicure and got sat immediately. The nail tech was efficient and friendly but not overly talkative (which I LOVE). The only reason I gave four stars is because I saw several people walk in and have to wait or not be greeted right away. Overall, my experience was very good. read more

I have been going to Cutie Nails for over 10 years now. I go to Kim but the other girls are all great. I have just become very close with Kim over the years. She does a fabulous job on my nails. I started with acrylics and then went to gels and now I've been using the dip powder and I love it. If it's done right, like Kim does it, it's the best and most natural and does the least harm to your nails. I am big on cleanliness and so is Kim. The shop is immaculate and it gets a complete cleansing every night, I would never go anywhere else. I had jumped around for the first 10 years of wearing acrylics and I always found something I didn't like or I would find a person I liked and then they were gone. But, once I fell on Kim, she's the best. I never have repairs or broken nails...I have never gone back to her with a broken nail...you can ask her...it's the truth. That is remarkable and really speaks for the care she takes in doing them and using the best products. I hope this helps you. You definitely won't be disappointed...she is very busy...so call first...I NEVER just walk in. read more

I have been to a ton of nail salons and this by far is my favorite and go to spot. I'm regular here for a reason. The ladies here are nice, professional and always does a wonderful job. It does get busy so calling ahead or setting up an appointment is best. They do try to accomadate you if you walk in but be prepared to wait. Sometime good service takes awhile. read more

I've come here every summer for manicure and pedicure. They're always excellent in their jobs and very friendly, the shop is very clean. There is one thing that I do not like about this place, the shop is sort of hot in the summer. Is it hot outside, I need air conditioning when I go somewhere, which I don't think they have the AC on very often. But over all, they are good, and I would recommend it. One more thing: they are super busy on the weekend, it is better to come during the week. read more

I had a fitness competition and made an appointment for the day I was leaving to get a mani and pedi, I showed up to my appointment 10 min early and was told that even though I had an appointment I would have to wait over an hour because my manicurist decided to take a walkin 10 min before I arrived. I told them that was unacceptable and I was a long time client of theirs who made an appointment for an event and was leaving for CT in 2 hours. They didn't care, the didn't apologize, they told me I would have to wait my turn. I asked to get a new set of acrylic nails put on and after an excess amount of conversation between the employees back and forth( not in English ) did the woman tell me that she couldn't do my nails cuz I didn't regularly get my nails done there !!! This is a family-based salon with great work ethic. They are friendly, highly capable and professional. I love the massage chairs for pedicures, and they consistently give the best technical service I've ever received from a salon. Equipment and services are state-of-the-art and prices are the best in the area. I once didn't have enough cash for the tip and they were so understanding and just said, "it's okay, just bring it the next time" not knowing if I'd ever be back. I really wanted to be able to give this nail salon a great review. My first impression was very favorable. The salon was neat and clean and very appealing and relaxing. I was greeted immediately upon entering the salon and there were many OPI colors to choose from and they offered Shellac if I so desired. Unfortunately in the middle of my manicure my cuticles were trimmed before they were really softened which caused some bleeding on one of my fingers. When I brought it to nail technician's attention, she just shrugged it off. She then continued with the manicure putting oil over all the nail beds including the finger that had some bleeding. I was very grossed out. Not just because she didn't seem to care that I was bleeding and offered no first aid whatsoever, but was willing to contaminate her other materials with my blood. Now... I know that I'm disease free. However, I am now assuming that what happened to me is is probably the policy for everyone who has that same experience and I do NOT know the health history of all the other clientele in this salon. I will never return, which is unfortunate. I really hoped I'd finally found "my salon." Back to Google. read more
