They might cost a bit more than another salon, but I'm happy to pay that because my gel manicures have always lasted weeks. The gel removal process is gentle on my nails, they check in to make sure you're happy during the process, and they have helpful suggestions on colors or styles if you're stuck. Would strongly recommend (and do recommend to any friend who asks for a nail salon in the area).

She began with my right pinky, and almost immediately, she cut me with the machine. A lot of blood came out. At first, it didn't sting too much. She placed a small piece of paper towel on the cut, sprayed some water, and put some powder on it. But soon, the pain got much worse. She continued removing the gel from my other fingers using the machine, sometimes not even looking at what she was doing. I'm honestly relieved that it was only one finger that got injured. The whole experience was awkward. We didn't say anything to each other, and the pain was so bad I was biting my lip the entire time. When she finished, I paid, but I left very disappointed. She never apologized or offered a bandaid l, even after clearly hurting me. I really hope no one else has to go through something like this. Getting your nails done shouldn't come with the risk of injury.

The esthetician who started the procedure used the wrong product to remove my polish and then used a drill which ruined my nail beds. Almost four months have passed, and they are still tissue paper thin. My nails have still not grown past my fingertips, and continue to break and crack (see below). Simple tasks such as opening a can or buttoning up a shirt are nearly impossible. When I visited Malis Nails in person asking to speak with a manager, I was hustled out of the shop and told "I had short nails." Nor were they concerned about me sharing this story. This is obviously a business that takes no accountability for their actions. I've always kept my nails short, but before my disastrous visit to Malis Nails Boutique, they were strong and healthy. This business deserves ZERO stars in my book...unfortunately, not an option on this site. I'll never use them again and would strongly discourage anyone from using their services.
