My girls agreed as they said both Jenna and Jimmy were gentle with them and they loved the designs drawn. I'm extremely picky when it comes to a classic French and they did not disappoint. Not only was the look achieved with a thin coat so your nails look natural, they were able to get the white polish paper thin which is how I prefer mine. I also enjoy the shoulder massage and wax finish on your hands after getting a manicure. I won't be going anywhere else from now on!

I was pleasantly surprised by a couple of extra services that go along with a nail treatment and pedicure. They have this awesome melted wax pot where you dip your hands- they wrap Saran Wrap around your hands after dipping. Hands are very soft afterwards. They also do a mini massage of your neck and shoulders before applying your polish- so relaxing! The pedicure includes a warm stone massage which I had never had! Not the first time I have needed to go elsewhere because of travel/now COVID. NONE of the other salons I have been to has been as good as Tropical Nails and Vikki. A few times while she was waxing, but did not anticipate she was ripping the skin off. She put (aloe?) on my waxed areas in seconds at the end, and I had to apply additional oil to my face at home. She obviously saw the blood after it bled in 4 places. She also walked right by me a few times when my feet were drying, and during my pedicure. If she had owned up to her harsh tears, and took care of my bloody spots, I may have thought a bit differently, but would still expect my $50 back. Henry (the owner) and his wife are experts at doing nails and trully understand what customer service is all about. And unlike other salons where the technicians are often pre-occupied talking to each other or on the cell phone, they actually pay attention to me while they are doing my nails. This place smells fresh and not overwhelming in any way. I don't get manicures but I have had 3 pedicures there now. I get the spa pedicure for $60 they give you a true spa treatment for an hour. And then they paint your toes. For real! This time was more because it was gel and a detailed design of course. I paid $90 plus tip for my Tigger toes. You can pick your scent (I chose peppermint) and that includes a sugar scrub, a hot stone massage, a paraffin wax treatment, I swear I got 3 massages with lotion and two hot towel sessions. I told Annie she is my new best friend. (Please check with the salon for complete details I'm not 100% of what it entails) I don't go often so maybe my feet just take that long lol They have lower levels too if you don't want or need the whole spa treatment. UPDATE!! Because this merchant chose to act so unprofessional, rather than just own up to their awful service, I am including more photos of their work. The pink paper was my "receipt" the "her" is referring to my daughters charge (the $70) the $12 charge was for the manicure my 4 yr old granddaughter had to wait in a chair for while the owner of the salon had the other employee give her (the owner) a pedicure & the last charge was for my nails .. 2 of which broke in the 1st few days because the polish didn't harden. This is probably because my nail techs UV was held together with duct tape. SECOND UPDATE! This lady needs to stop.
