My polish looks clumpy and not clean line near cuticle. Again super nice place but the person I have need to work on his paint job. BE CAREFUL!! I got a STAPH infection- cellulitis on my finger from Precious Nails!! When I called to tell them, I spoke with the owner and they handled it horribly! She was very rude! Cutting me off as I was speaking, yelling. She tried to turn it around on me and said I had a hang nail (I did not) and completely putting it on me. She wasn't there at the time. The Doctor told me that the infection was bad and most-likely this was from "dirty tools at a salon" (they should be sterilizing the tools, they do NOT). It still hurts and it was not fun going to the ER during a pandemic. I've spent over $200 in bills, ER visit and medication from this mistake that should NOT have happened. After tears and fury, they agreed to give me a refund. It has been 3 days and I have not seen it. ALSO- WATCH OUT FOR UP-CHARGES! I was quoted $50 for a manicure. It ended up being $65?! She said because "nails were longer and I wanted pink?" Save your time, money and patience and go somewhere else. There are plenty of other great salons in the area. read more

I had a pedicure and manicure done by a male technician on 8/30/22. It was the worse pedicure that I've ever experience. He was extremely rough and it was hard to really enjoy the pedicure. I kept having to pull my foot away and at one point he cut me. Days later my toes were still sore from all of his plucking. My manicure didn't even last a full week. The tools that he used were not clean. I should have read the reviews first. Shame on me. Overall it wasn't a good experience and I will never return. read more

I have been to Precious Nails twice and the first time they lasted 3 weeks which I wasn't happy but I already had another appointment. The second time they lasted exactly 7 days which Ianded on a weekend that I was out of town so when I got back on Monday and tried to walk in to get them fixed I was told they don't take walk ins which contradicted their sign, so I made an appointment for the next day... I wasn't even a mile away when the manager called me and said it has been 9 days and they only honor 7 days so they would have to charge me. The manager didn't care about customer service or the fact that I was unable to come the day they chipped!And I'm sorry but I paid $130 dollars which I was shocked at because the time before it only cost me $85 and that included designs on 4 fingers! Now all of a sudden I was being charged separately for removing my old dip, adding a gel top coat that I didn't ask for and shaping my nails to almond from square which I have never been charged extra for? I'm just glad I skipped the designs this time. So yes, for all of my hard earned money, I expected my manicure to last more than 7 days! This is the WORST nail salon I have ever experienced. I came from Massachusetts (driving 1 hour away) to get my nails done because our salons back home have yet to open. I show up for my 12 o'clock appointment and am left waiting in the pedicure chair for 1 whole hour. While I am in the chair I am given a price book that states that the regular pedicure is $32 plus 15 for gel. It also states that a full set of acrylics is $35+15 for gel polish. Once my toes were done I was left to wait again for another 30 minutes before my hands could be done. This is 2 hours after my arrival which at any other nail salon would've been enough time to complete both services but I was just getting done with the first. As I am finally brought to do my hands I notice that only some of the desks have shields and not every nail tech was using sanitizer before touching clients. I showed him a picture of the shape I wanted and he assured me he could do it. I wanted a square shape, medium length. With a not sterilized file he slices open my finger from filing too hard and tries to work with huge thick globs of acrylic after I specifically asked for them to be thin. At this point with only tips and acrylic on my nails he tells me it's going to be $60 for my hands and extra if I wanted the design that I asked for. When I asked why it would be that expensive he had no answer for me and took me by the hand and paraded me around the room while yelling to his coworkers asking about my nail prices, he said it was because I got extra long..... they were in no way shape or form extra long nor was I informed that normal length acrylic nails are extra. Then when I brought up their price book they claimed it was old even though I had just been given it and quickly changed their tone when I called them out on being shady about pricing. I then scrapped the original design I wanted for my nails because of the fuss he was making and just asked for regular gel. Not only was the polish EVERYWHERE, he tried to cut it off my fingers with cuticle cutters. The shape is so uneven I truly believe hellen Keller could have done a better job, the polish is huge thick globs all over my nail and they're overall the worst nails I've seen. I paid for my services which were WAY over what the book wrote and given lame excuses made up on the spot as to why it was more expensive, I tipped both nail techs and left. When I get in the car in broad daylight I notice what a horrible mess my nails are and get very upset. At this point I had been there for 4 hours, overcharged, left waiting, embarrassed and upset. I did not travel all this way and spend all this money to leave with this sad excuse of a new full set. I went back in and asked if they could fix it, the man that did my nails began running frantic around the salon and yelling in another language (clearly about me) to his coworkers and made me feel like shit for asking him to fix them. He then kicks me out of his chair while I'm literally sitting there not even causing any trouble and tells me to never come back to him again. This man made me cry in the nail salon because he was incapable of doing simple nails. Save yourself the trouble because this place is unsanitary, shady about pricing, and the employees were unprofessional and beyond rude. This is the WORST nail salon I have ever been to in my life. I have been here twice because my usual nail salon has not reopened yet and I needed to get my nails done for some events. The first time was slightly better but still not that great. The second and my last time was the absolute worst. The lady was sloppy with the nail polish, did not apply it evenly or all the way to the sides, and cut up both my nails and toes so badly that it was bleeding. It was so painful. It has only been day two and already my gel nail polish has started to chip?! I have never experienced this at other nail salons nor have I ever been bled from how aggressive they were being. Just absolute careless and bad service. And on top of it all, they have been the most expensive place. It'd be one thing if the service was amazing and none of the above happened. Delusonial prices. $73 for a gel mani and regular pedi when at most I have paid for both is $50-$60 and the work was incredible. Do NOT recommend. I'm so disappointed to be writing this review. I drove out to N.H. from Malden, MA to get my nails done for my birthday. I couldn't take it any longer and wanted to be pampered and look good for my special day. The pedicure was wonderful - the technician that was helping me was named Henry. When we sat down to do my full set I started feeling a bit uneasy when we simply glued the tips and started applying acrylic to my nails before cutting. I'm a licensed cosmetologist so I know how to correctly apply acrylic- I don't have the equipment otherwise I'd do it myself. He was very rushed - and kept insisting I get gel which I declined because I get my nails done every two weeks and feel I need gel all the time. I kid before my nails were done and tipped him well over 20% when I sat down after paying he proceeded to ask if me if I had not left him a tip ??!! That was rude but I continued to be kind. After my nails were done I was stuck outside for my nails to dry and Of course messed one up which got fixed by more polish being globbed on top. When I sat and looked at my nails there as acrylic all over my cuticles and chunks of my nails without polish. -__- the polish took over an hour to dry and then still was smudging. I understand it's a pandemic and really was grateful for the effort that was put into my nails but... The next day at my party - my nail popped off without me even doing any heavy lifting or activity. It was MY BIRTHDAY so I was being pampered - literally didn't lift a finger all day ???? My bill was over $100 for a full at and pedicure that should not have happened. Had to drive an hour back to get it fixed - no apologies when just questioned as to whether I bit my nails. I showed him the issue with the polish - he took It all off, repaired my nail and polished with new polish BUT filed every nail so they were thinner and even less enforced, Well needless to say only one week later three of my nails have broken and I just had surgery so I've literally just been laying in bed - no lifting or activity. I just have to remove them and decide if I want to pay for a whole new set from another salon. This is the most disappointing nail salon experience I've had in quite a while.... read more

I went in for a pedicure and spent $68. The technician was in the process of removing the cuticle from my left big toe and pulled so hard it hurt immensely. I started bleeding and she pushed my foot into the wate. after completing my right, when she took out my left and saw it was still bleeding went for liquid stop tic, which stopped the bleeding but not the pain. I had the nails all painted and paid, but this morning it was crusted up and continued to bleed. I have been applying antibiotic cream since I got home and now have a bandaid over my $68 pedicure. With that being said I walked in a woman asked me what I wanted and ttook me right away. I asked for a full set with getting as close to natural nails as possible, I didn't get anything close to that. I got thick acrylics with a lousy nail polish job. The lady barely spoke to me and didn't talk loud enough for me to hear her when she talked. I don't even know what her name is she didn't ask for mine and she never told me hers. She kept trying to up-sell me as well and I told her 3 times I'm all set. It cost 35$ for a full set and gel removal. I think that's too much seeing as my old salon (which I will be going back to) only charged 2$ to remove gel and 25$ for a full set. I'm am not happy and won't return not even to fix my nails. I will not recommend. UPDATE: I went back the next day and had my nails fixed. They didn't charge me and kept apologizing. I may go back out of convenience, just unfortunate it's expensive.
