The atmosphere is so peaceful, luxurious, clean, and incredibly chic while still feeling warm and welcoming. As a postpartum mom, I've been battling hormonal acne and congestion, and Julianna gave me such an amazing experience from start to finish with my first Hydrafacial. She was incredibly kind, sensitive, compassionate, encouraging, and positive. She truly listened to my concerns, made me feel comfortable, boosted my confidence, and understood my needs throughout the entire appointment. Julianna is hands down one of the best estheticians I've ever experienced, with such a warm and amazing personality. I'm a singer/artist constantly under stage lights, cameras, heavy makeup, and performing, and this gave me such a huge boost of confidence going into a full weekend of performances. I genuinely have not felt my skin feel this calm, smooth, and uncongested in YEARS. I highly recommend Skin & Body Spa and especially Julianna. I genuinely cannot wait to go back next month. Thank you again, Julianna and Skin and Body Spa!

Both Linda and Kim are awesome, Linda really takes pride in the work that she does and does not feel like she tries to rush you out. NOT ABOUT FRENCH THIS ABOUT THEIR OTHER SALON VIVID NAILS ON AMHERST!!…read moreI literally got my nails filled yesterday. And I told the lady doing my nails that a lot of them were loose and needed to be fixed. She did not fix them. She told me it would be fine that the fill would make it not lift. An hour after I left one of my nails popped off and while I was doing the dishes all of the rest of the nails started to lift up. It was too late to go back and have her fix it. So I called immediately when they opened in the morning. I came in and the whole time she accused me of slamming my hands around and it all being my fault. she told me she will just put a little bit of glue on there. And I should be fine for two weeks. When I'm missing a whole nail and all my nails are lifting. Then, she refused to fix them until I paid her extra 30$ on top of the 70$ I paid her the day before to fill my nails. I was very annoyed and disrespected, and she was laughing and talking to her coworkers. In another language about me, because she kept lifting up my hand and showing the other lady my hand while she was working. Then, she kept telling me this is a lot of work over and over and she should be charging me more. First off, it wasn't done correct the first time.So I shouldn't have been charged anything. It should have been fixed for free.Because it hadn't even been a whole twenty four hours and all of my nails were lifting and one fell off not just one or two. I did not slam my hands aroundOn anything nor did I rip my mail off. They actually were very cute even though she doesn't know how to do designs and struggled to make a simple spider Web. No, matter what i'm doing, that should not have happened. I played it cool and respectful while I was there because I really needed my nails done. So I paid her the extra money that she wanted. Unfairly, just to have my nails fixed. She refused to do them The length that I wanted them and force me to get very short nails, which I don't like. Her coworker kept telling her to be nice and give me a break and she kept saying no, because she needs money. But if you mess up somebody's stuff, you're supposed to fix them without being charged. Especially with it being less than 24 hours after you did the job. I have been coming to this place since it was colorful Nails. So I've been a loyal customer for a very long time. And this is the first time I have ever been disrespected overcharged, talked about And refused to be fixed when it was done wrong.Unless I paid more money. I'm not happy with my nails at all.And I wanted a full refund, but she tells me the company doesn't give refunds. They just fix the nails. I would have gladly taken my money and gone to french nails and had them do it correctly. I have never had this woman Cindy do my nails I have always had somebody else Do my nails including her daughter, which does an amazing job. Because of this horrible interaction and the fact that you stole my money when it was you that messed up.I will no longer be giving my services to this company.Because clearly they don't have morals respect or care about their customers. They only want money and that was made very clear today. And don't get me wrong.I get it.I don't get regular shaped nails nothing crazyThat isn't able to be done because I go to french nails And I bring my own tips, and I have never had a problem with them.Popping off or lifting or anything. So this was solely cindy's fault, and she put all the blame on me, would not take accountability. And charged me again. This is unprofessional in every way, and a lesson learned. And I may only be one customer that may not be coming back. So that's not a big deal to you guys, but I have been a loyal customer for years. So I should have been treated With respect, just like any other person that comes through that door. She should not be doing anybody's nails. If she's going to overcharge people or make them pay twice for HER mistakes. These nails that she did aren't even good either. CINDY DID MY NAILS AND DOESNT TREAT CLIENTS WITH RESPECT OR LISTEN.

After several disappointing visits in a row, I won't be returning. I used to come here monthly and…read moreeven chose this salon for my wedding pedicure. That experience was disappointing, but I chalked it up to a bad day. Unfortunately, the quality of service has continued to fall short, and this latest $60 pedicure was especially frustrating. From the beginning, I felt rushed to choose a polish color. I was looking for a fall brown for an upcoming wedding, but after looking through only a couple of binders, I was encouraged to make a decision. When I explained what I needed, the attendant grabbed two binders and said, "You'll find one in here." Once we got back to the chair, neither booklet contained any browns. I was seated in the third chair on the left. The water was cool, and when I asked if it could be warmed up, the attendant scoffed, turned on some warm water, and walked away. I didn't see her again, and someone else took over my pedicure. The chair's massage function was also broken. It would turn on for a few seconds and then shut off, leaving the rollers protruding in an uncomfortable position. Because they couldn't be moved or adjusted, even sitting back in the chair was uncomfortable throughout the service. There was also a sanitation concern that I had noticed during my previous visit. Although there was a scoop in the exfoliating scrub jar, the person performing my pedicure reached directly into the jar with a gloved hand that had already touched my skin and been in the water my feet were soaking in. Seeing this happen again raised concerns about how shared products are handled between clients. So little scrub was used that I couldn't feel any grit on my legs--it felt like water was simply being rubbed around. The person who took over my pedicure was friendly and cheerful, which I appreciated. However, once I got home and looked closely at my toes, I was even more disappointed. Several toenails weren't fully covered with polish, my cuticles appeared untouched, and dry skin remained on my toes. The painting looked sloppy, and the basic grooming I would expect from a pedicure hadn't been done thoroughly. For $60, I expected careful nail preparation, even polish coverage, sanitary product handling, and a reasonably comfortable experience. This visit fell short in all of those areas. Over the last several months, I've been spacing out my visits or choosing other salons because of similar disappointments. After seeing the results of this latest visit, my husband and I will be going elsewhere for our pedicures.
