I was able to get right in for an acrylic manicure which was nice. I asked for coffin shaped and got more square, which i didnt really care as i wanted nails for an event that evening. The acrylic was very thickly applied, my nails were sort and burning and i mentioned it but the technician didnt seem concerned. One hand was way longer than the other and i had to go back 3 days later to shorten them. They were pleasant when i asked to shorten them and reshape but the acrylic still felt too thick and built up compared to when i had gone in the past. read more

Great experience at Eva Nails. I had been looking for a new salon in the area, and I've found it here. Came in on a Sunday morning for a shellac manicure and was seated in about 5 minutes after being asked to pick my color. A gentleman did my manicure for me, I did not catch his name but he was friendly. He spent a good amount of time on all steps- filing, cuticle trimming, polishing (1 base coat, 2 color coats and 1 top coat), and massaging. Definitely spent more time observing and perfecting each nail than other places I have been to. The massage was also longer and better. I thought the salon was very clean, and I like how they use new plastic covers on the foot baths for each client. They also had a very cute puppy there named Darwin who was roaming around. I was trying out new nail salons to see if there was a better one closer to home. I stopped in here and as many others have said, the place was dirty. I should have left then, but I was greeted right away and sat at a table. The guy who "helped" me was angry, rushed, and mean. He soaked my entire hands in nail polish remover instead of just wrapping my fingertips like normal. This left my hands dry and sore for days. (I have sensitivity to things like that) The drill he used for shaping skimmed my cuticles more than once, and then he put my hands back in the nail polish remover. That hurt like hell. I asked for a dip, which is what I always get. He skipped steps and my nails looked thick and clunky. I ended up cutting them all off because they hurt and were just bad. The final straw for me was not only were they more costly than other shops, but I now have some kind of infection in 2 of my fingers where my cuticles were cut by his drill. I would wholeheartedly recommend you NOT visit this place. EVER. read more

After leaving the salon I noticed most of my nails were very very thick, however some of them were thin on one side and thick on the other. The French tip was way to thick to be a French tip and was barely fixed by the nail tech to make it thinner after asking multiple times for it to be fixed. Most of the French tips polish are not the same thickness as well. I had asked for a coffin shape but was given more of a square shape and had to pay for the "coffin shape". The polish was not put on properly to the point where I can see the streak marks and my nail underneath the color. I was almost given the complete wrong color if I hadn't have said something, and was not even asked what color I wanted the letters on my nail to be. As for the letters I asked for two small initials within the brown color (French tip). I received two huge letters on my nails, done very unsteady, with additional lines I didn't not ask for and a silver color I did not ask for as well. During the whole appointment I was only asked once if I was okay with the nails, therefore I continuously had to stop the nail tech and change the things she didn't ask me. The price I paid for these horrible nails was way to high, especially compared to many other nail salons in the area. I can say though that there was no wait when I came in, and the rest of the service was fine. Although I would not recommend going to Eva nails unless you book an appointment with Kobi, because in my opinion he is a great nail tech. read more

I went to Eva nails instead of my normal nail salon because they are open on Sunday. I was getting ready to go away and that was the only time I could get in to get a mani/pedi. The pedicure was great but my gel manicure was terrible. The polish was very messy, he painted over my cuticles and it ended up peeling after 3 days. I went back to get it fixed and the owner was only going to fix the fingers that had already lifted, which was every finger on my left hand. It was starting to lift on the right hand and he said come back when they actually lift and I'll fix it. I said absolutely not, I would like it fixed before that happens because I was leaving for vacation. He was very irritated about this and proceeded to roughly file off the polish and then had me sitting there for 30 Mins while he took another client who came in after me. He did a decent job polishing them but that was about it. I will never go back for the terrible service and the prices. It cost me $10 more than my regular salon. Oh and scrubbing the dry skin off your heels is not included in their pedicure, it costs and extra $5 for them to use those Ped eggs that you can buy at Walmart for $10. Don't waste your time going here, you'll just end up needing to get your nails fixed again anyways! read more

The place is FAR from dirty, in fact everything is new and the staff is always cleaning during lulls or in between customers. I've had some of the best conversations with the staff who've taken care of me and I've never found them to be rude at all. The comment mentioned Darwin, the owners dog is in the salon. I don't care what breed he is, he is the most well trained dog in the world, and he is so quiet you forget he is even there! In fact I love being greeted at the door by him, makes me feel welcome that he remembers me each time! I've been coming here for a long time for my nails and I live almost an hour away, but refuse to go anywhere else. I don't know what people expect out of a nail salon I mean their salon is extremely clean they acknowledge every person who walks in the door no matter how busy they are, and they do a kick ass job at nails. I went to Eva's many times over 6 or 8 months. I'm sorry to say that I recommend not going. Yes, the dog is cute and yes, there are drinks. However, after many applications of dip nails, my nail beds were worn down to thin paper. They were dark pink and it became painful to have the polish removed. On each visit, my nails were SOAKED in acetone, rather than wrapped in foil with acetone on cotton. Then, they were repeatedly sanded with the drill until the old polish was gone. Sometimes the technician was sanding and not even looking at my nails. My nails were badly damaged. I have been working on healing my nails now for over six months and I am almost back to healthy nails. I have learned a lot since going and I won't go back. Sorry Eva. read more

Worst mani/pedi ever! My gel nails didn't even last a week and they didn't even scrub my feet! My friends water was ice cold and mine was scalding hot. Normally my fingers last 2 weeks and toes last a couple of months when they are done professionally, they didn't even last a week and all I've done is hang out with the family for Easter weekend. I only have my nails done once or twice a year, especially after winter and this was a complete waste of time and money. It looked like there was one girl in there who knew what she was doing, she had the regular customers waiting for her..... So maybe we would have had better luck with her. :( read more

Amazing service. The woman who did my pedicure was very attentive and made sure the water temperature was good and that the massage wasn't too hard. They accommodated our 3 people pedicure walk in with no issue. I didn't feel the service was rushed like at some salons. Went here with some of my friends because we were staying nearby for a wedding and this was the closest nail salon. While our overall experience was great, the actual manicure/pedicure were pretty low quality as they chipped within 24 hours. The salon was able to accommodate 3 mani/pedi, 1 pedi, and 1 mani in/out within 1.5 hours. The prices were great, but the quality was very very poor. I've had my nails done there before and it was a great experience, so I booked another appointment. This time it was a far different experience. I felt that the nail tech was rushed - my feet were barely scrubbed and the leg massage was practically non existent. The whole pedicure from start to finish was only about 20 minutes.When I got home, I checked my feet and there was dead skin on many of my toes. Really disappointed. A friend recommended Eva nails. Said it they did a great job and the prices were very reasonable. I went in on a Friday late morning. Got seen immediately, which was nice. I needed a fill on my nails. Removing the polish, fixing a broken nail, and polishing were great. But on Sunday afternoon I noticed that my polish has bubbled and popped. This is a gel manicure on acrylic nails. I have NEVER had this happen before. I went back Monday afternoon. The man was a little shocked that I was coming back and asking to have them fix it. It was only 3 nails. The girl filed off the paint, wiped it clean and reapplied the polish. She was has trouble turning on her UV light to dry my nails which concerned me a bit. I left having had them fix the issue at no cost, which was great. But later that night noticed another nail bubbled and popped. And this morning, Tuesday, one of the nails that was redone yesterday is already bubbling. I will not be going back here. Nor will I recommend anyone to their salon. I will pay the extra $12 at my regular salon. read more
