Went here a few months ago and will never go again. It does not seem like they sanitize their items well. Myself and my mother in law got pedicures and the lady doing my pedicure picked up the used callus file from my mother in laws pedicure and tried to use it on me. I would not trust them to actually clean and sterilize equipment between customers. read more

My husband & I walked in around 4:30. He wanted a pedicure and I needed a Dip Fill. They took us right away. There was one other customer leaving. A man started my nails and a woman - Vicki finished it. The man was pleasant and interested in me. My husband and I were both very pleased with the quality of their work. The vibe was quiet as we ended up being the only customers there and we could not understand the multi-staff conversations. I cannot believe all of the bad reviews on here... With everything going on with COVID-19 this is one of the nail salons that was open near me. I called and was greeted very pleasantly- they were able to accommodate my same day appointment for a full set and a pedicure. As soon as I walked in I was greeted pleasantly; I was instructed on the new hygiene requirements, asked to sign a form, and then asked to pick my color (was able to match my gel nails with my toes - love that!) I received the standard pedicure and added in the callus remover. Everything was great as she cut, shaped, and removed my cuticles as well as gave me a scented salt scrub. The state limits the time that you are in the salon to an hour, and she finished my pedicure and just about 30 min. I then switched to Angel for my nails, she asked me what I wanted, accommodated it exactly, and did a very nice job on my nails. I will be back and I would highly recommend this nail salon... They were very clean and I was watching all of the employees take all of the precautions required by the state. read more

Save yourself time and money. My dip took 2 hours .. I asked for thin and square. After hand filing for hours I got chunky and round. Came here to get pedicure for my niece who is 12. The shop has a laminated price sheet showing a lesser rate for kids up to 12. The pedicure was decent but they charged her the adult rate. When my sister asked why her daughter was being charged more the response was 'she is tall'. When we asked, so it's a height or age? The tech called her manager over and we questioned him. He says, 'we don't do that price anymore'. We pointed out the sheet and he said, 'oh well we need to cut that up'. Wow! really?!! Not honoring the posted price is just poor customer service. Wow, has this place gone right down hill!!!! When I went here two years ago, it was nicely laid out, serene, and I got a really good pedi & mani, and the technician was very nice. I went last Friday and it was like a cattle call! Waiting area: Four crappy little chairs in a corner with no magazines, one holding kids' toys. It looks like they added more pedi chairs along one wall? They are so close together I could barely get into my chair. Every one was filled, so we're all closely crammed together in a row. Two little kids, I'm assuming offspring of one of the workers, were running around yelling and playing, with one or more of the workers periodically yelling at the kids. A man did my pedi. He sat down without a word, not looking at me or saying hello. He opened his 'tool box' & checked his phone. He started working on my feet & did not say a word, did not ask me what I wanted, or even look at me for the entire pedi. When he was done, he got up and walked away without a word. I wasn't sure if he was done... am I waiting for a second coat? Should move to the drying fans? ... or what the heck was going on. I finally made eye contact with him across the room & he came back over. "Am I done?" "Yes yes." "Should I go to the fans?" "Oh, I thought you would like to sit here." "No, I'd like to dry my nails at the drying fans." He led me to the fans at the back of the room (where I discovered the magazines) & asked me to pay right now. I asked how much. He asked if I was paying cash or credit. I said debit card. He said $32. I said, wow that's more than I expected. He said $29 with cash. I said OK & gave him a twenty & a ten. Waited about 10 minutes for him to bring me back the change but he never came back. I finally hunted him down in the back room and asked, are you coming back with my change? He took a wad of bills out of his pocket & was about to peel off a one. I said, no, keep it, I was planning to tip you when you came back, and gave him more money. (I know, later I thought I should have just given him the fee & the tip all at once, but wasn't thinking.) (I know, why did I even tip him?) Really NOT a good, pleasant, relaxing experience, and I will not go back. Angel (I believe that's her name) did my dip, apparently she didn't like how my arm was positioned several times and would forcefully move it how she wanted it positioned. When it came to the dip, she never dipped my fingers in the dip, she used a different method, and made my nails look so thick, and never used a drill. When I said something she was super defensive. If I could give a 0 I would! I should've known better than to ever go back here but my Brother In Law was sick and we needed to fly to Arizona unexpectedly. I figured I would shoot in for a pedi and polish of my nails. i got a call from my husband that his brother was not good and had coded twice. I told the girl I had to go and could she just finish removing the polish from my toes. She insisted on just doing a polish and not a full pedicure. The owner was polishing my nails while the girl was doing my "polish" on my toes. They both finished and went up to pay. $70.00 she says, I said WHAT? You simply polished my nails and toes. She said, we but your toe nails. I said you're kidding me right! she said 50.00 for your pedicure and 25.00 to polish your nails! i was so appalled but had to get to my husband so I just left!!!! NEVER EVER GO HERE, EVERRRRRR! They suck! They screwed my daughter the next day and charged her $107 for the worst set of nails and a horrible pedicure! read more

My visit was pleasant. I was first of the day and it was pretty quiet. I do not like talking with a mask on either!!! All Covid 19 precautions were in place. It was my tenth visit and my nails look great as usual. I have thin nails and the tech was gentle and filed minimally without me asking. It had been a while for me, because I was cautious due to the pandemic. I had a simple manicure and gel polish today but I have had acrylics before. I am happy with Ava Nails. I went here for a manicure/Dip & my nails came out awful. Way to thick & didn't file the gel down correctly. I was so unhappy I went & got my nails done at another salon the next day. Service was ok but nothing special. While I was there the owners had there young children running around & being very noisy. At first it was cute but after a while it got very annoying. Bad experience, no lotion at all on my feet. Massage only one minute 30 seconds. Very very rushed. Bad paint job, all over skin. I can still see dead skin everywhere. Very disappointing after waiting like 7 months for a pedicure he answered the phone more times than he looked at my feet. Very unprofessional and not worth the decidedly higher than usual price. I had a male technician and he noticeably shook the entire fill. He also would periodically open his drawer and go on his phone and also in the middle of everything he would get up an use his phone in a cabinet across the room. I was not completely satisfied with the end result of my nails as they were short and round not long and sleek like my coffin shaped acrylics come out usually. My little cousin also got her nails done and the lady who helped her told her that she couldn't get the little flowers on her nails because she moved to much. I have been here several times and it has turned into my go-to place for my nail services. They offer good quality work, but pedicures and manicures are quick with not much pampering. I have experienced a few problems, that seem to be common for many nail salons. Each time I've gone in, they have tried to sell their shellac service, which I have no interest in. They have been a bit pushy for it. I politely decline every time. I have also noticed that they over commit. They tell a walk in it will be only five or ten minutes, even if it is completely unrealistic. During one visit, I was getting a manicure and my tech had just started to cut my cuticles. She told a walk in that she would be with her in five minutes.. Well i'm glad she can be accommodated but, it doesn't say much for my manicure. Decent prices, manicures a bit pricey, friendly staff, and quality work. Ava Nails is an over all good place, but their pushy sales for shellac and yelling across the room to walk-ins promising them to cut into my services makes the experience less enjoyable. Sometimes visiting Ava Nails feels more like an errand rather than a treat. read more

Chop shop. I have been a customer for a year. The past three experiences were awful. The first bad experience was with a pedicure, my toenails became so ingrown i could not feel them.I asked for a nail design which became discolored when she hurriedly put top coat over the design smudging the design.The second experience was with shellac where my thumb nail was cut down the side when the nail grew the skin tore around the nail, the shellac made it impossible to trim the skin.Today the unfriendly and rough manicurist cut my cuticle so deep it bled for five minutes she did not apologize. FROM MY WIFE: I went in for a manicure on 1/16. The Manicurist was not friendly at all. She was rough and made my thumb cuticle bleed. My biggest complaint was the nail polish started peeling off in only 3 days, which I removed in only 5 days. Usually when I use nail polish remover it's tricky to rub the polish off, but this came off super easy. Cheap polish and rough and unfriendly service, I'm not going back! read more

Came for a pedicure on a very busy Saturday. The man said 10 mins and I thought yah no way. It was 12 mins later and I had a seat. Woman (older with glasses) was wonderful. Very thorough, cleaned my feet nicely, massaged my legs and didn't make any mistakes on my toes. I read the experiences before coming here and was skeptical, but as with any nail salon, there is usually a wait even if you have an appt. I wait longer for the doctor WITH an appt. Wish I read reviews before stopping in on a whim. I should have left after having to explain three times what coffin shaped was. Lost half of my nail length while I kept trying to show her pictures that the tip is not rounded. Went through eight dip colors before finding one they 'had enough of'. Kept asking if lighter colors would show through but perhaps language barrier? Should have left then, also. Dip manicure must have been her first as she kept asking for help. Even after someone else helped her file down Way too thick. And it took 90 minutes. Underneath is jagged edges of my own nails and there is considerable excess chunks around edges I had to file when got home. I'm sure people have great experiences with specific nail techs but for any walk in folks (who I fear will never see this) Stay Away. read more

The location was very clean, and my manicurist was fun, and outgoing. I was greeted when I walked through the door and was asked to pick a color. There was no rush. I got a manicure, and pedicure and eyebrows done. Pedicure was a little expensive. It cost me an extra 5 dollars for callus removal, and another 5 for Shellac polish removal. I've never seen this before anywhere else and have been to my fair share of salons. The lady doing my Pedicure remove so much skin from the side of my big toe that my nail is stabbing into it creating it to become so irritated and swollen. This place was awful. Went here years ago and it was great so returned today because my usual salon was booked up. First red flag should've been that there was not one customer in there on a rainy Sunday. Older male nail tech was extremely aggressive acting, very rude, and rough. I had dip polish on when I arrived and he had me REMOVE IT MYSELF. Drilled it off a bit, then handed me cotton balls and acetone and sat in front of me instructing me how to remove it. I should've walked out then. Kept burning me and nicking my skin with the drill and would get mad when I'd flinch. It hurt! My nails are sore still and it's been hours. Dreary music playing, nothing on the TVs. Kids of the staff doing laps around the salon, which didn't bother me, but seemed unprofessional especially for an environment that's meant to be relaxing. I normally would have walked out in a situation like this but I think I was in shock by all the MANY things occurring during my visit. I paid, tipped, and left, and made sure to tell all my Nashua friends to stay away from this place! I called in and made an appointment come to learn that my appointment was pushed 30 minutes past the appointment time. I waited patiently for my turn even though i was promised an earlier time and when i was brought to my seat the man was being rude when i was deciding which color i wanted. I asked them how much what i wanted to get would cost and it seemed as if they didn't want me to get what i wanted and tried to convince me to get something else by telling me it would be more expensive so it would save him less time. Already i was greeted with such pushy and impatient service, in addition to this, i am a Vietnamese speaking woman and the entire time i overhear him and the other nail techs talking trash about me. They were all asking him what was going on and convincing him to rush and hurry up with me and to get me out of the door so they didn't need to do acrylic nails or anything that i was asking . The woman who was running the place is the most obnoxious and disgusting woman i have ever met. She kept telling him to Rush his clients and calling the customers mean names. She was so obnoxious i literally was appalled in my seat. My male nail tech kept convincing me to get what they wanted me to get to save them the hassle. It was as if they didn't care nor wanted good business. I had just been sitting there for not even five minutes and this is all happening in front of my eyes. The lady even referred to me while asking him about me as a witch. She's asked him In Vietnamese to "tell witch not to get that done and to just get it colored so you can get her out". I have never had such terrible service in my entire life and to be talked down on by a bunch of strangers who are suppose to be professionals and didn't even know me or were given Any reason to be treated the way that i was today. These people were very disrespectful And they were not professionals In any manner. I sat in my seat while my male tech was cleaning my feet for a pedicure in Vietnamese to stop because i was leaving the establishment so that they didn't have to put up With me any longer since my presence and business was not welcomed. Girls night pedi's are always a good time but not if you go here! These employees couldn't care less about the customers experience. My toe nails were filed so short they are raw and throbbing. I asked the tech several times to stop filing and expressed my discomfort and pulled my foot away but that didn't stop her from continuing to try to file more. The foot massage ... wait ... what foot massage? Then I was ignored for 20 minutes waiting to pay. Even after stopping someone and asking to pay. I finally announced I was leaving my payment on their appointment book and walked out. You bet that got their attention because the tech came running out and stopped me at my car because I left a $1 tip (only because I didn't want the dollar bad enough to wait for it). Really mediocre for the price. I have gotten my nails done here several times and I am just not a fan. The polish never lasts, even gel! It always chips after a few days. They often file my nails unevenly/crooked. They are too rough when cleaning up my cuticles. They press too hard and it is painful! If you do it right, it should NOT hurt when you clean and push back someones cuticles. The absolute worst part though is they trim my cuticles unevenly and so poorly that a few days later, some dry dead bits start to flake and I will get hang nails from them when they pull back! Extremely uncomfortable. Say yourself the money and time, go somewhere else. read more
