I have gone to this salon for about six weeks. Every acrylic fill has chipped and I have also had several nails break. The gel on my nails has also faded within days. It has to be the worst nail salon I ever been to in all my years!! I also referred a friend and she is not happy either. I went in to get my money back. The told me to talk to the owner but would not tell me when he would be there. Then said they would not give me my money back at all.,They we're so rude and disrespectful!! They were talking in their own language and laughing!! I can honestly say that I have never written a bad review for any business!! I am appauled at their lack of customer service and the lack of interest f keeping two new customers!! read more

I stumbled upon this place by convenience and am stoked that I did! I have been getting acrylics for a long time and this was by far my favorite experience. Lynn was awesome! She had great energy and was very friendly. She nailed my style (pun intended ) and was also quick yet very efficient. She even stayed late to take care of me! I've been here a few times before for basic manicures and have love them! The service is always great, they are very friendly. I got my first acrylic set today, and was nervous, I expressed that to my nail tech and he was very gentle and made sure I was doing okay throughout the entire thing. However, a few nails are uneven, and not straight at the free edge, and one thumb is actually longer than the other. The nail polish is a bit lumpy on a few nails and I can see air bubbles. On the phone and in the beginning of the appointment, I was told one price.. checking out, the price was somehow 12 dollars more! Most likely will not be going back again. read more

Cute little shop in a small strip mall. Lots of friendly, attentive, and talkative staff. I came in as a walk in for a mani/pedi, just in time to miss the after work/school rush. Unfortunately for some other clients, they were told that there would be only a short wait-which ended up being the entire duration I was there-about an hr. While getting my pedicure, another nail tech chatted with a young regular and asked about her family. Very personable. No wonder her and her family come back. Once my nails were done, I was dumped at the nail dryer, where I was soon forgotten. My nail tech went to do a pedicure, and never checked up on me to take off my toe separators.. Maybe I'm just spoiled? But I thought the point was to ensure I don't ruin a nail.. which did happen. I sat patiently waiting for her to finish the pedicure so that I could get it fixed. After watching her do an entire pedicure, I saw her get up to grab something and that is when I had the chance to ask her to fix the nail. Bottom line: My nail tech did a good job and the staff were not chatting with each other obnoxiously-which is a huge pet peeve.. but once there is a rush or they are busy, you may be neglected. read more

I have been going to Nails for You exclusively for several years. When I was first going, the place was clean and the quality (given the price point) was good. But I have been less and less pleased over the couple years, and I've finally had enough! First, I would not recommend a pedicure - I stopped getting pedicures here a couple years ago after I contracted my second fungal infection from what I'm sure is improperly cleaned equipment (I never have foot issues otherwise). Second, my last two manicures have been terrible. The last one was a shellac, which began chipping in the first week (never happened to me before - I think she wasn't taking enough time with the UV light between coats). The one before that the guy buffed my nails so much that the skin around my cuticles was bleeding, and I was in a lot of pain. If they can get their act together, I would consider returning. But I've just had too many bad experiences at this point to continue giving them my business. read more

i was greatly disappointed to have such a horrific experience here this week. ive heard the owner is LOVELY and hope she takes disciplinary action with one of her techs. went in for a mani/pedi. I was the only one there for awhile until someone else came in maybe an hour in. my tech was on the phone initially attending to personal matter. this seems to be normal for salons so I actually didn't care as I brought my book. though their comment of 'I'm busy right now I'm trying to buy a house' was uncalled for. fast forward they go on long rant about when Elizabeth being an alien that morphed into a human and that she eats other humans. furthermore saying all rich people are aliens that morph into humans to eat humans, and that they eat babies and suck their blood 'like yours' (noting that I had a baby from a prior comment I made). This behavior went on for at least an hour and made me and the other client feel very uncomfortable I ask them to stop showing me videos and they laugh asking 'why are you scared' I tell them yes actually I am. I've been to high end nail salons of various types across the country. Sure, they are usually decked out in awesome decor, provide extra services, but they all lacked one thing. Nails for you has a friendly atmosphere and great service. When they speak their language, the nail tech will tell you what it is about. If you don't like a color, they will take it off and put a new one on. The entire staff is great and it really feels like home when you walk in. The only thing I recommend is that they have a color reference for their Shellac polishes, because the customers have a hard time seeing what the colors look like. Thanks Nails for You. I will never go back! It's cheap but you may get more than you pay for since I did not see them wash out the foot baths! The one next to me the guy sprayed once with a cleaning bottle and no scrubbing. Where I was sitting just drained the tub with absolutely no effort of cleaning and then proceeded to sit the next customer! So gross! On top of that they did a horrible job I could probably paint my own feet better with the amount of polish that was painting around my toenail. Once I was under the dryer I was forgotten about to even mention how bad of a job they did but at that point I didn't even care I just wanted to get out of there I was so grossed out!!! read more

I went here for a shellac mani due to a friends recommendation but won't be back. The nail technician I got was horrible. My friend was with me and said she'd never seen her before. She was so rough with every aspect of this manicure. Instead of simply asking me to place my hand in the UV light, she grabbed it and roughly placed it there and vice versa. She could have even pointed and I would have understood. Then when she buffed my nails she left abrasions around all my cuticles. I started bleeding and then she acted annoyed like it was my fault! She went overboard with it to the point that now my nails are all brittle and breaking. Such a painful experience. My hands hurt for about a week after this. So disappointed. read more

Very disappointed in my mani/pedi. My pedicure was fine until my nail tech had to paint my toenails. He struggled and kept messing them up. It looks like my husband painted them. I was very annoyed at that point but went on to my gel manicure. He asked "gel?" As we walked over to the manicure station and I said yes, as I did want a gel manicure. Then he proceeds to take a rough nail file and file the tops of my nails and wrap them in foil with nail polish remover. I stopped him and said I don't have gel on now-it was obvious that there was nothing on my nails. So on with the manicure...again struggled to paint them. He kept filing them down and adding more paint so some nails have way too much polish on them. Overall, a sloppy job. I was there for over two hours! I felt sort of bad because he clearly struggled to do a decent job, I just don't think the skill is quite up to salon standards. It's disappointing because Rose, the previous owner was amazing and after this experience, I'll have to find yet another nail place. read more

I went if for a pedicure today after receiving a gift certificate at Christmas and I was NOT impressed! From the time I walked in to the time I left nobody said a word to me. The manicurist didn't speak to me making the whole visit very uncomfortable. I made an attempt to start a conversation by asking the girl a question and she gave that "--ck you" I'd rather be elsewhere glare. Most of the time my mani pedi is pretty good I can't always say the service is great Tonight I went for a shellac french manicure and the guy that did it was very shaky I had polish all over my fingers he was also in a big hurry When I said I did not like the results of my fist hand he pulled a temper tantrum ran to back of store and then to bathroom. He never came back Very odd Mary finally came over and had me sit at her table where she wrapped my nails to remove mess. I thought they would then do a regular french manicure but then Mary said I was all set so I left No one said in sorry lets do it again the first try was messy very weird but I won't go back there I also noticed they keep same paper towel matt for consecutive clients- they really should change paper towels The store seems dirty lately. Not good at all. Went for a couple years but have finally given up on them. I got a mani pedi there,they did no cuticle work, combined normal nail polish with gel nail polish and made me bleed a couple times. quality has gone down terribly. Will never go again read more
