I'm kind of bummed with my experience at Posh today. I'm out of town..in Nashua, NH..touring for the first time since rona (I'm a musician). I searched high and low for a local place that could go all out on designs because I wanted to pop at my shows. I found this place on Yelp and saw that Kim was the design lady at this place. I called and made an appointment specifically letting her know I wanted to deck my nails out. When I got there, she was kind of short with me but I let it roll because she was busy. She never told me she wouldn't have time to go in depth with designs and it just felt like she wanted to get me out of there as quick as possible. Again, I specifically made an appointment for design decked out nails and I walked about with the minimal. With all that being said, she does actually do nails really well. read more

This was my first time going to this place . I was intrigued by the outside . It's definitely popular because there was a lot of people . They check you in via tablet and their was hardly a wait . I asked for a basic gel manicure . The lady kept asking if I wanted dip and I kept insisting no. The lady lasted two min on cleaning my cuticles ! It was my mistake for not speaking up but she barely cleaned my nails . On top of that she made me bleed and didn't clean it she kept painting my nails . After saying I didn't want the nail art this time, she wouldn't take no for an answer. It was so aggressive and on the spot, that I got the nail art- despite not wanting it. This was a lovely salon. It was our first time here. Normally we go to a place at the mall but we are all done with them and we're looking for an alternative. This was my first pedicure of the season and I really felt bad for the lady doing my feet. I walked in looking like a hobbit. She did an amazing job and my toes look great. They are reasonably priced and were all very nice people. The shop is clean and well organized. I loved the tvs for something to watch while my toes were done. My youngest daughter also had a pedicure and my oldest a gel manicure. We all left very happy and headed next door for ice cream!! read more

Went here with a friend for a basic Gel manicure. They were fast, good and didn't cut me(which is typically my standard). They also seemed really clean and friendly. I have no complaints. I would say 25 for a gel manicure seems a bit as I tend to get acrylics for that price, but alas I'm trying to grow my nails out so I'll see how long these last. Might be worth the price, but with only having them for two days it's to soon to tell. Also, all the mentions of Kim are accurate! Worst experience ever!!! I believe Kim was her name, she was trying to do my nails, calling her love, talking to the people were coming to her place, and she was talking on her own language with the lady that was doing pedicure. I didn't have any attention at all, and besides that she told me 'look a the tv honey' how bossy and mean a person can be!! Wow, my nails look amazing! I got my first manicure ever today because I always thought that other people's professionally done nails looked really fake and ugly, but my friend's nails always look so beautiful, and she told me that she gets hers done by Kim at Posh. So today while I was shopping at the mall across the street from the salon, I decided to stop in. I got a full set gel with gold glitters, and they looked amazing! I can't stop looking at my nails, haha. You should totally visit Kim this nail salon because she is a perfectionist, and you will LOVE your nails after! The salon is simple and straightforward, which is what I like because it's not intimidating. There are large screen TVs on the wall that play good and new music videos. I'm new to the area and have just had my second fabulous experience with Kim and her sister at Posh. I'm hooked!! They do a beautiful job and make you feel so welcome and comfortable. There are plenty of options in the area but I'm a Posh devotee now (even though I probably pass 10 other nail salons on my 20 minute drive there!) They do gel, acrylic, and shellac and have every color/option available. It's in a funky strip mall behind Costco's JUST before the set of lights that brings you in to the mall at the Uno's entrance (or just after, depending on which direction you are coming from. I am disappointed because: the process was very rushed, my cuticles were not trimmed nor pushed back, she accidentally cut me with the drill and didn't even bother to wipe off the blood because proceeding to dip my finger in a shared dip powder, the dip if far from my cuticles and the edges are rugged. NOT sure how they have such good ratings here... when i showed the picture of the little henna inspired nail art on this page she told me my nail was too short.. which is why i chose this place in the 1st place. A got a fantastic gel pedicure from one of the ladies here. She was attentive and asked me frequently if I was happy with how things were going. The leg massage was great but I still had callouses on the bottoms of my feet she could have done more with. I am pregnant so I didn't notice until later on. It's been over a week and my toes are still perfect. The other downfall was the price was a bit much. I'd wait for a special to return. read more

I had the worst experience at this nail salon today. I just finished my nails and my nails are horrible the paint job is bad the guy did not file my nails even he did not ask what shape I wanted for my nails. My pedicure was a hack job. None of my nails are even. I had to ask him to file my nails correctly and he continued to do a horrible job. I asked for the manager or who's the shop owner and no one will answer me when I asked for her. One of the ladies finally told me that she was not there. I can come back tomorrow and somebody will fix it. But yet she still took a $50 payment for a hack job that this guy did to my nails, and ask if I was going to leave a tip. No one tried to correct it then and there. There was no concern for customer service. It was one of the worst experience I have had doing my nails. read more

Honestly no stars.l only put 1 because I had to. This is the worst place I have ever been. I went in for a mani/pedi before my honeymoon in Aruba. I went in on a Monday and when I woke up for my flight on Tuesday my finger was very sore and swollen. Ended up at urgent care in Aruba on Wednesday and had to leave my honeymoon 5 days early due to how severe the infection is. I booked an appointment for a gel fill. I asked the woman on the phone how much it would cost. She told me $30! I asked if that included removing the existing gel polish and she said YES! When I got there the lady who was doing my nails was "pretending" not to understand me! This irks me when they do that. She was soaking my nails in acrylic and I have environmental allergies so asked that she wrap them. Well I had to ask the woman next to her to ask her to do it because like I said she was pretending not to understand. Then I mentioned I would like a pedicure. Same woman did the pedicure and all of a sudden could ask me questions! My pedicure polish is not applied smoothly and looks terrible. My gel nails are chipping after 4 days. I went there because of these reviews but I think they were written by the employee's friends! This is a terrible shop! Oh and the owners 7 y.o. daughter was removing polish on a client! I wished the Board of Health would have walked in! Amazing! I went here for the first time today, and everyone was extremely welcoming. I got a mani/pedi, reg polish for the pedi and shellac mani and they came out amazing. I could rave about the pedicure for days because the woman who did mine actually massaged my feet and legs for like 5 mins each many times, I've never had that anywhere else. Asked Kim if she had any availability for a nail removal and full set. She stated she did not but would let me know if someone cancelled. She later calls me and asks me to come in. I show up and she has me soaking for 1 hour which I found to be unnecessary when the nail drill could have been used more often. She then proceeds to state there are 2 people in front of me and if I could wait. I declined. She asked me if I could come in the following day. I agree and she never confirms. Poor customer service. They do not value there customers time. She should have just been honest and stated she was fully booked. She also blatantly stated that she has people soaking longer than needed to be able to squeeze more people in. They lost me as a customer. read more

I came here for a dip powder. At first everyone was decent greeting me and telling me to pick my color. Once I picked my color I took a seat. They didn't shape my nails whatsoever, they rushed and there was a few times I had to tell the lady she missed a full step... I wasn't fully disappointed with my nails but mostly the service. I've never had a good experience here. Every time i go they are understaffed and shuffling around, having 2 or 3 people work on your nails over the span of an hour. The last time I went there was the final straw, they had me soaking my nails for over an hour without checking on me and the entire process took over 2 hours when it should've been done in 1. They grabbed and finished 2 or 3 people while my nails were soaking and just clearly have no idea what they're doing. Left feeling not satisfied and not returning again. First I felt rushed picking a color when I was the only customer present. There was other person who was working, that was on the phone the entire time screaming out loud in another language, no TVs on...the atmosphere was just raw. The lady who did my nails was very rough and seemed to not even be really watching what she was doing, kept missing my finger. She was also using a tissue for her nose that was in her pocket and she didn't even get up to wash her hands, but just kept working on my hands... yuck. She did not remove my cuticles thoroughly. And I have no idea where she got her instruments from, DEFINITELY not sterilized. I think the only thing I was happy with was the actual paint job. Made an appointment a day before coming here just to get thrown around to 3 different people throughout my appointment. The lady who did my toes beat my legs and feet to shit for 40 minutes. Was forced into getting my full set as a gel instead of just the color i picked and then was not given the color or design i asked for. First picture is what i asked for , second picture is what i settled for since the nail tech couldn't find a gel color close to what I was showing her (she kept bringing over ugly and dark shades of purple ) and the third picture is what I got. $75 for straight up aggravation. My son had been asking to go for a pedicure for awhile and I thought since it was school vacation it would be a nice treat. I had never been here before but figured because I was going to Costco after it was convenient. We were greeted with smiles and told we could be taken right away. When it can time to pay I had every intention of charging the amount but giving a cash tip. Call me weird I'd rather not spend my cash if I don't have to. But the girls pressured me into to paying more cash than credit because it would be less expensive. Not really she took off two bucks! I have been here before - this is the second time I had acrylics done at posh - the other times I got a pedicure. I got a full new set done on Sunday the 17th. That following Friday my nail broke at the middle where the nail meets the natural nail. I called to make an appointment to get it fixed and the owner Kim said she'd take care of it. I was told 10 am Sunday cause the later morning wasn't good. I show up right at 10am this last Sunday thinking I had an appointment. Nope they don't open till 11 on Sundays. Finally after about 18 minuets of waiting two girls show up and I wait about 5 more minuets before going in. Her sister offered to fix it for me. She's never done my nails. And I told her I had an appointment with her sister at 10 and noone was there. No apology. She couldn't find the right color and she was hard on my nail bed with the drill. Professionalism is not a strong point here I've experienced this myself and heard from others, I'll be honest . I was sitting there getting it fixed and her sister was on her phone the entire time stopping and texting. I do appreciate she fixed my nail at no cost but it was not a great experience. And my nail isn't the right color or shape. I left just glad to have my nail fixed kinda and I could go about the rest of my only day off during the week. My middle finger nail just broke off at the same middle spot where my pinkie did, and it's not even a week and a half I've had this full set on.
