Me and my friend Jessica went and got two pedicures. I am very disappointed after giving them a second chance after getting my manicure there I was hoping it would be better. When you spend $100 for a pedicure, then pay tip on top of that and you're not happy it says a lot. I would highly not recommend this place. I can do my nails at home better than this. I have been going to Luxe since it opened in town (Seabrook). I have spent an amount here that I don't even want to tally up- but am sure it is not as much as others. I usually have a fair experience, nothing that would warrant a follow up with management. I have actually bought gift certificates for love ones to join us at this establishment. Today I was scheduled for a 2:30 appointment and the Nail Salon called me at 2:33 because I was "late". When I arrived, I was not greeted in a friendly way- instead, because I was 5 minutes late, I was told that I need to call as soon as I know I am going to be late- that I was lucky I was there in time today. I asked what the timeframe was for cancelling an appointment and was informed that it was 10 minutes. I have been kept longer than 5 minutes in your waiting room, as well as longer than 10 minutes- this just doesn't seem fair or equitable to a loyal customer of years who has not displayed a tendency of being late. I work a very intense job and tried to sneak out today for some self-care and this felt stressful. I was then rushed to pick a color (which now I am less than thrilled about) so they could start my service. My service started after 2:35 and finished prior to 3:25. I was previously told that dip manicures take an hour- this was less than 50 minutes. I tipped my technician graciously like I usually do. What I haven't shared all along is the times in which services have started late for my daughter and I, or we were dissatisfied with the quality of the service provided. I have not shared that I think the facility could be cleaner and staff could do a better job trying to upsell products on behalf of the company, or that staff could be more unified in how they conduct various services. I will likely choose a new salon moving forward given this interaction today. My hair salon, for example, would never treat me in this way. I want to be respected especially when I consider the hundreds if not thousand + dollars I have already spent at this establishment. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I'd honestly say, don't choose this nail salon. I haven't gotten my nails done in along time but I remember good service and what I got yesterday wasn't that. First, they rush you to pick your color. Then they bring you to a room packed with tables and people. Everything felt cramped. I got acrylic nails from beginning to end I was never asked to wash my hands which was odd. I had gel polished dried all over my fingers. The acrylic was uneven and WAY to thick. The worst part!! My cuticles were all cut up! When I checked out my hands felt so dirty and gross. By bedtime my fingers were throbbing. By morning they hurt. I'm not going there again, I'll find somewhere else. read more

I NEVER leave reviews and I have only gotten a few pedicures in my lifetime. I know this is not normal, and I felt like she was scratching me while massaging my legs but it was quick and then she stopped. Overall a decent salon in the sea coast area. I thought $50 for a gel pedicure was a little high, but will visit again. The salon is quite large and has a variety of services to offer. They have a huge amount of dip colors to choose from, but seemed they had fewer gel color options. That being said, my friend and I had an appointment for 11am, but we weren't brought back for our pedicures until 11:20, and then we sat there for an additional 10 minutes waiting for our nail technicians. The pedicure job itself was good, and it seemed they were meticulous with the work. The salon was clean. My friend's technician spoke English and was very nice and funny. read more

I got my nails done here today and I walk in and the desk lady was incredibly rude. She was rolling her eyes at me when I asked question about my service. When getting my service done the gentleman doing my nails was rough pulling my hands and twisting my fingers to get a "better angle". There was no lotion applied to my hands and no cuticle care. It felt very rushed and there was very little attention made towards my service. Will NOT be back and do NOT recommend. read more

The service was amazing, I got a gel french tip and my nail tech did an amazing job although he did miss a few spots, it was barely noticeable. This was my first time trying this salon but have had my nails done for years. There were so many issues I finally gave up just to get out of there. I wanted short, acrylic nails with a solid color. I was specific about shape and thickness. The nail tech had different shapes on different nails and when asked to make them look like the one nail shape that I wanted she only did one more nail in that shape? After several tries to get what I asked for with no results I wanted to just leave but if you're mid-acrylics it's pretty impossible. She went on to cut my skin with the drill in two places and told me it was because my nails are thin, which they are but my skin isn't thin so it definitely doesn't make any sense! I asked for thin nails and they came out uneven, different shapes and thick. Toward the end, she pulled out dirty cuticle cutters from her personal makeup bag and tried to cut off all the excess acrylic that should have been removed with the fine finishing drill. I told her my nail hurt and she kept on trying to cut it. I asked for "natural" looking acrylic nails and they look like big, round bubbles on my fingers with bleeding skin and chunks of red cuticle skin all around them. You can also see where the fake nail was glued on which I have never seen in the past. They are a complete mess and I'm now looking for a reputable salon to soak them off and try again if I don't get a terrible infection from the unsanitary, dirty instruments from the makeup bag. I chose this place based on very good reviews. I'm questioning how valid those reviews can be now. Also, when I called to make an appointment I was quoted 55.00 for a full set. When I checked out, she said I had to pay extra for using a card and only wanted a cash tip but that was never mentioned when I asked the price when making the appointment. That is a sure sign something isn't right with the pricing either. This was an epic nail fail. read more

They (Anthony) did not seam to like me from the start and didn't offer conversation (that's ok). Person seamed to be on the phone as an airpod was in the ear and they were talking to themselves or whoever was listening on the phone. Then they complained about being here later than they were supposed to and working 7 days a week. To then they made a phone call and say they were going to be late (they asked if that was ok) Then there was a phone call for an apt about guy and girl getting full sets and the nail tech was asking how and why would the guy get full set. Originally asked for dip but was told this would look nicer and skinnier.. was not expecting for natural nails to be showing so I know these won't last long and hideous grow out. The nail tips being too small will also hurt from lack of support. This was 60$ not including the tip. Due to lack of coverage on the sidewalls there's plenty of room for water to get in and under the nail leading to possible fungus infection causing a "green nail". Will be getting thess removed asap. My nails did not even last a week and from him using smaller tips on and my nails they hurt! read more

Environment is Relaxing Accommodated that I was a walk-in and they were in fact busy. The nail tech was meticulous and made sure to sculpt my nails exactly the way I wanted. Got an acrylic set here and then went to my trusted nail girl back in RI a few weeks later and as she was trying to soak off the acrylic she said that whoever did my nails used an acrylic that is illegal in over 30 states, including NH, because it is known to cause permanent nail loss, finger deformities, severe inflammation, etc. If you would like to learn more search 'methyl methacrylate (MMA)'. read more

I've gone here twice now and have been disappointed both times. I'd really like to like it but the gel manicures I've gotten just don't last. I had one on Fri night and by Monday they were chipped and by the following Fri I was so ready for an appt. The polished peeled right off all of them. It was more expensive than I usually pay. $35 vs. $20. The set for $20 can last up to 3 weeks. I've heard the pedicures are good so maybe I'll try again for a third time? Hmm. read more

I have been going to Susie for about 3 years for my acrylic fills and gel polish. She does a great job in a short amount of time. I like that she is quick. My fills normally last 3 weeks with the gel polish. They are very good about fixing any problems you might have. I get my pedis from a gal name Asa. She's been doing them since they opened 4 years ago. I like firm pressure and she is not afraid to press hard. We were in the area on vacation when I needed to get my nails done. Walk-ins are welcome but they didn't have anyone available so I had to make an appointment and come back later. The interior is beautiful but the stations are too close together. You can't easily get to and from the end stations without either bumping or disrupting customers and technicians. They did a very nice job on my powder dip. Price was a little higher than what I normally pay, but Tony did a very good job.; very smooth and even. They also had a great selection of color choices - better than any other salon I've visited. I definitely recommend them FIVE WEEKS later and my dip is still perfect! No chips, cracks, etc... I have tried this salon out three times, and will not be back. Initially, I received a great pedicure, and was pleased with the service provided. I went back one week later to get a regular French manicure for a special event out of town. My nails were chipping a day later. I had to find another salon out of town to redo it, where I got a gel manicure. I was really impressed in how long that manicure lasted from this out of state salon. I went back to Luxe again to try the gel manicure, this time for an out of town trip for a funeral. This time, my beautiful polish turned a fatigue green color two days later. Well, what I was expecting was a nice pedicure that last 2 weeks with a nice a message, this is not what I got. My sister got one of two feet ripped of dead skin, as well as he rushed through the whole entire pedicure finishing much earlier than my mother and myself. As for my mother, her toe polish is wiping off all over herself after 2 hours. It's all over her shoe and her hands. The dyers did not work well. We had to sit in the car with the heat on our feet to dry our toes. NOT worth 55$ I'm upset by this.
