Really disappointed to leave this review. I have been to their second location multiple times but this was the first time at their first location. I went to this location because they did not have any appointments for the other. I went in for a regular pedicure and a Gel-X manicure. I've gotten Gel-X many times before and have never had a problem. The nail technician was very nice but I'm disappointed in the work. Polish was left on the skin around my toe nails. And the Gel-X is crooked on my hands. Unfortunately I didn't notice how badly they were uneven until the polish was on at the end and they were closing. I had a great experience! I just moved to the area and am VERY particular about my nails. I researched several local salons and their reviews, I was skeptical to say the least. Maria managed to AVOID what commonly happens when I'm forced to try new nail techs.....my dip is not too thick, there are no bubbles, my cuticles are in perfect condition, and I can already tell that upon grow out, there will not be any obvious bump between the powder and my natural nail. With my regular nail salon still closed in MA, I searched thru Yelp to try to find a salon in NH that can help me in the meanwhile. I am very particular about getting UV gel & designs and lucked upon Lady Vixen Salon. From how easy & quick it was to set-up my 1st appt via Yelp to seeing how beautiful this salon is set up upon walking in the door, I had a feeling this was going to be a very good experience. I was cheerfully greeted immediately upon entering & was instructed to use their nicely set-up sanitizing station before getting started. They have an incredible amount of gel polish to choose from, so give yourself some extra time if you're bad at making choices like me lol. The salon is so clean & nicely set-up with partitions for COVID measures & all were wearing masks & new gloves for each new client they serviced. The chairs/surfaces are also cleaned down between clients. My appt was with Lisa who was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end! She was so kind & absolutely meticulous w the nail work she does! She was able to very quickly understand exactly how I like my nails done & made me feel very comfortable like she had been my nail tech forever! I am absolutely in love with how my nails & toes came out and her leg/arm massages are really fantastic as well! I'll admit...I was just looking for a temporary salon to hold me over until I can go back to my regular one. My partner and I went to this salon for the first time to get Manicure and pedicures done. The pedicures came out great but when it came to the manicures the service went down hill. My nail technician got upset that I did not mentioned I wanted acrylic nails with dip when we sat down. But I mentioned to her that I did at the beginning on the appointment. Once I said something she got very upset and started spilling everything and rushing the manicure as well. Then my partner got the same thing but her nail technician had to redo her dip about 4 different times and the nails came out awful. Then when we went to pay they over charged us for 2 mani-pedi and nail design with dip manicure they said was over $320. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

I came in yesterday for a pedicure appointment. The new safety measures were very apparent and executed well. My male technician (wish I got his name) was professional and friendly. Although he worked fast it seemed to be from experience not from a lack of attention to detail. Cuticles were removed throughly with zero cuts, and the best part was the massage!! My gel polish was laid on a little thicker than I usually prefer, but I did choose a very light color that required 3 coats for full coverage. Upon checking out there was a line forming at the reception desk which made social distancing a bit more difficult, but not impossible and the receptionist seemed a bit overwhelmed with answering the phones/ checking people in, and trying to cash people out. This process could be more efficient. Overall this was a great experience and would come here again. read more

This is a very large clean spa. But, never overly friendly to me. I went for a pedicure and I was very disappointed in my experience there. When I asked the woman at the front desk which nail polish I should choose from, she told me to choose any polish on the two walls. I picked a color that turned out to be a gel polish that cost $15.00 extra! The bottle did not say gel, and there was no sign on the wall that said gel, nor was there a sign that said the gel cost $15 extra. I have never gotten a gel polish on my nails or toes because I don't like to ruin my nails... The woman should have explained the nail polish to me. An extra $15 was not in my budget for a pedicure. My $40 pedicure turned into $55 plus tip. I will not be going back. read more
