I hired them for my wedding and lets start with the fact that they'll do a trial with you before signing a contract and putting down a deposit; something that's becoming increasingly rare all of a sudden. The trial turned out amazingly!!! I felt like the prettiest version of myself possible! And the best part was, after a couple of minor tweaks, it was even better on the actual day! I hired them to do hair and makeup for me, my mother, and my 4 bridesmaids and every single one of them felt the same way. The stylists were super professional, so sweet, and so careful to make sure we were getting what we wanted and were pleased with the results! Every single one of my girls said how happy they were with how they looked and felt and how good a job these guys did. We all have different facial structures and coloring and hair textures and lengths and they did such an amazing job with everyone. Not to mention how well it all stayed!!! We started hair and makeup at 9AM and the day wasn't over until almost 10:30 PM. Every single one of us looked as fresh at the end of the night as we did when they first finished. And that's despite wind, girls diving under the wedding dress skirt (these things are intense to get into/out of), vigorous dancing, etc. No one had to touch up fly aways, or add in pins later or wipe off sagging eye liner--nothing. (And I at least always have issues with makeup staying on well. Not a single issue this time!) I don't know what they did, or how they did it, but these women are magic. Go to them. Seriously, you will be the absolute 100% opposite of disappointed. Definitely my favorite vendor out of the entire wedding. At some point I'm finding an excuse to go back to them just so I can feel that pretty again.

Eventually, I found Hana, and I have been requesting her whenever possible ever since. She is amazing. The entire staff is always kind, welcoming, and professional, which makes every visit enjoyable. I usually bring in an inspiration picture for my manicure, and Hana always does a fantastic job bringing it to life. She really pays attention to detail and makes sure everything looks just right. I have also had several pedicures here, and they are always relaxing and well done. On top of that, I get my eyebrows waxed here, and they come out perfect every time. Overall, this salon is reliable, friendly, and does consistently great work. I highly recommend it.

And I'll admit she was accommodating with time, I called just before 6:30 and they closed at 7 and she still said to come in, which was greatly appreciated! Not only was the place dirty (say hi to the nasty spider hanging out at the bottom of the entrance door!) but the place has this odd funky smell (not normal nail salon smell either, more like stale water damage funk) . But the worst part is after only 3 DAYS! My nails are chipping, the polish on the thumb is basically coming off as one piece, she changed the shape without confirming it was ok, also thinned them too, and the polish after 3 coats wasn't remotely even from finger to finger, some you can see clear through it, (which I should have walked out as soon as I looked at the selection on the wall because they were all separated and noticably old and had been sitting there for God knows how long!) Also I had asked her to fix the polish on the edges because it didn't cover the whole nail, instead she started to just file it down instead until I stopped her! And then to top it off when I was paying, maybe it's just me idk, but you don't ask your customer about a tip! If you get it cool but it's definitely not mandatory and shouldn't make people feel obligated, especially when you did a crappy job! Worst experience in a nail salon ever!

Some of the tips were crooked. whatever she did which I noticed after, there not smooth. There mistakes all over the place. It looks terrible on most my nails. Since I paid $50 for that I will keep them on until I see someone else. I can't wait to start over with my nails. I would not go back.

WOW is all o have at this point. The first time I went the woman didn't know a word I said to her, then had attitude after trying to talk to her. My nails looked HORRIBLE when I left. The nail polish was all over my cuticles and my cuticles looked like I was a man that worked on cars for a living... they charged me $40 and I STILL gave her a $10 tip. The ladies are very quick, the polish and gels are perfect, my nails feel strong, and the gels last 3 weeks or more. Kim and others are good at suggesting flattering colors and designs. They have nice massage chairs for the pedis, like most places. They didn't spend a ton on decorations, so it is plain but clean. I've been to much fancier places, but was disappointed after my nails cracked and chipped in a matter of days, even though those places took a painstaking amount of time to do the work. Kim, the lady in charge, can be a tease. If you don't get her humor you may think she is being rude. If you can't take a joke, this may not be the place for you. There is not much turnover so you can be assured of seeing your favorite technician again and again. Their English is good, though it can take a time or two to understand the accent. They know me well and call me by name whenever I walk in, even if it has been a few months. I love that they are open on Sundays. I tend to arrive later in the day. I came in at 5:45pm last week. Tiffany did a manicure for me, then mentioned they closed at 4pm on Sunday, but she was happy to help a regular customer since she was still there. It was Mother's Day and she had kids to go home to, so I felt bad about keeping her late. She mentioned another person had called after hours a while back. The client said she would be there in 15 minutes. The ladies in the nail shop waited 30, then went home. They aren't fond of being the last shop open in the plaza, and I don't blame them a bit for that. That client then wrote a less than favorable review. It is tough making everyone happy. I was shocked to see my favorite nail salon had only 2 stars overall in Yelp. They are 5 stars in my book.
