I have given this salon many chances, and time and time again I have left unhappy. They charge too much for their level of services. I could give a laundry list of flaws. Nail color choices are VERY limited, They work too fast don't check to make sure both hands match and the quality of work is terrible. You don't even get half of a massage and they drill your nails off instead of going through the steps to take off the polish. I leave with hang nails and cut cuticles. I've gotten my nails done here a few times and have loved it....but not so much my last time. I got a pedicure and gel manicure right before vacation. TWO DAYS later this is what my nails looked like! I also had chips on the other hand and chips on both of my big toes. Usually a pedicure can last me 3-4 weeks. I was super disappointed in my nails this time and am not sure if I will return It will not allow me to reply to your reply but this picture was taken TWO days (Sunday 07/15) after the manicure. I was on a cruise and did not go to the beach at the time the photo was taken. I've included the picture that is TIME STAMPED at the top of when the picture was taken. Long time client of this establishment. Just had a pedicure and a gel manicure in 60 minutes. Rushed through the pedicure while being interrupted mutilple times to answer the phone. The big selling point of this place for was the sterilized equipment. That was not the case today. Quality and cleanliness were sub par. Sad, because I really used to love it here. read more

I love Mary Nails! I came here for the first time the day before my wedding for a gel manicure, and it was perfect. I went another time for a gel polish change, and they do a very nice job here. The owner always gives customers a bottle of water to have as they're getting their nails done. They have a wide selection of gel polish colors, and everyone is very nice and personable. Still love Mary Nails! My Mom loves Phoebe, who has worked wonders with her nails. Lee is my technician, my nails look great and her pedicures are to die for! The foot massage is great! Mary, the owner, is so friendly (well actually all the ladies are!). Mom and I do our "girls day" and have the gel manicure every 2 weeks and a pedicure every 4 weeks. You should definitely try the paraffin pedi if you get the chance. Also I believe they are starting offering the gel dip mani. They do take walk ins but I recommend making an appointment to make sure you get in when you want. I think the word is out how nice this salon is! read more

I tend to check yelp reviews before booking appointments at beauty salons or making reservations for restaurants when visiting a new area. I am staying with a relative that lives semi-close to 'Mary Nails' and I am in desperate need of a manicure. I was told they did an "ok job" but figured I would see for myself. After reading the reviews I can confidently say I will not be visiting this nail salon. I was blown away by one poor review I had found. This review, written by 'Lindsey F.,' simply stated that two days after having a manicure her nails began to chip (not something anyone paying upwards of $40 for nails wants to hear). But it was not her review I was concerned about, as these things can happen. It was the utter disrespect showcased by "business manager" Lihn V. in her response to Lindsey's simple complaint. What's more? She completely berated the past client with a second response with yet another nasty reply when Lindsey clearly stated she was unable to reply (in an edit to her first review). I will attach photos of the entire review so you are able to see the sarcasm and disrespect used by the store manager. Clearly Mary's Nails needs to learn a thing or two about customer service, and perhaps better techniques for a gel manicure. May I remind this business that Yelp is a place for both praise and constructive criticism, each client will not always have a positive experience. I waited over a month before writing this review just so I could calm down. I made an appointment for a manicure & pedicure in mid June. The pedicure was okay, but is now in need of a re-do and I usually get 2 or more months out of a pedicure. The manicure was a complete disaster! First of all, the woman taking care of me didn't even tell me her name & barely engaged with me. She was too busy speaking with her co-workers, in a different language, which is just rude! When I said something about the manicure, she got visibly irritated, asked me to pay first, so I did. She was very brisk with me and left most of my fingernail very rough at the ends, so I said something to her about this. More visible annoyance with me. Then I sat under the dryer for 1/2 hour. As I was leaving 3 nails really smudged. More words in a different language & then the owner took over. She was worse!! She actually blamed me for not staying under the dryer long enough. She hurriedly did my smudged nails, put me back under the dryer as they're cleaning up the place & leaving. To make a long story short, I ended up with my nails cut too short, not evenly filed and most of the nails smudged or chip by the next day. I took it all off and smoothed out my nail ends! WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME & MONEY. Don't go there!!!! read more

I moved to the neighborhood recently and had a really great pedicure at Mary's today. I was greeted warmly and offered a bottled water and magazines. The place is clean and I had an extremely relaxing pedi including an amazing foot massage. I will DEFINITELY be back! read more
