Wow, literally had the worst experience today and I will never come back. I usually go to Lady Vixen nails, but have gone here recently because it is much closer to my house. This is my 3rd time going here, the first two times were completely fine, but I did think the cleanliness needed some work. The pedicure chairs are so discolored and run down and the arm rests and massage remote look like they have months of gunk built up on them. Today I had a different nail tech than the last two times and although she was very nice, she was awful at doing nails. She asked me why I was getting such a neutral color and I explained that I was getting my nails done for my brothers wedding. I felt like she was racing through the entire pedicure and was extremely rough with the nail clippers and filers. She filed one of my toenails so close to the skin and continuously scraped it against my skin, I literally had to wince and say "ow" for her to stop, but she didn't even acknowledge it. The rest of the pedicure was uneventful. Then she took me to have a dip manicure and again was speeding through the entire manicure, when she started using the electric filer on the nails she continuously filed my cuticles and on several nails I yelped because it hurt so bad. Mind you this whole time I've kept my mouth shut because it is not in my nature to complain. When I got to the nail dryer, I looked down and there was dried up dip all over my skin and my cuticles were bleeding on two nails. I asked her if she can clean up the dip and also pointed out the bleeding cuticles. This is where she started getting irrationally angry at me and kept saying under her breath that all i needed to do was wash my hands and the dip would come off. I went over to the sink to wash my hands as she instructed and sure enough the dip did not come off, she had to scrub it off with nail polish remover. I really couldn't believe she was going to let me walk out with how much was all over my skin especially since she knew I was going to a wedding which she asked about a lot through the appointment. In hindsight I wish I took a picture because it was unbelievable how much she left all over the skin around my nails. She continued to mumble at me under her breath which really set me off because I had been nothing but nice to her. When I handed her a tip, she was like do you want this back if you hate your nails so much. I explained to her that of course I am going to tip her for her time and I wouldn't be as frustrated if she wasn't turning things around and getting mad at me for pointing out the blood and nail polish all over my hands. Again she was so mad, she tried to say my cuticles were bleeding because my nails are too short, which doesn't make sense because my cuticles are the opposite side of the nail? Honestly all I expected was for her to clean up my nails and that's it, I understand mistakes happen, but the fact that she was furious with me for bringing up my concerns is what my real problem is. The owner sat there at his desk and did not look up once, seriously poor poor customer service. I know not all the techs are bad there, they seem to have many loyal customers and I'm sure if you stick with a good tech you will have an okay experience, but back to Lady Vixen I go. read more

Quick but poorly done! My regular salon was booked so I took a chance and came here. Bubbles, rough or unfiled edges/tips and tiny hairs in my new polish, didn't inspect them until after I left. Also the tech cut my skin in 2 places and was less than friendly- and they upcharge for simple things like shaping that should be included in the price. No wonder it was empty in there while my regular place couldn't fit me in! If you want something quick this is your place. If you want a quality manicure go elsewhere. read more

My time first here and was recommended by my cousin who speaks highly of Kenny. Not sure if it wasn't his day, but I called in advance to schedule an appointment. When I told him what I wanted, it seemed as if he was extremely annoyed. Anything I said, he had an attitude about, so I stopped saying anything and just let him finish. I did not feel welcomed at all. He was also very rough and even mentioned it himself. If someone lets you know their skin is sensitive then one would think they would be gentle. That was not the case. I did dip and i was not impressed by his work at all. The drilling was uneven, my nails are uneven. He even let me leave the salon with no final clean up. Made an appointment for a pedicure. The whole thing was so rushed and and actually rough. Was going to leave a 2 star review but then she cut my toe pretty bad and was not gentle at all about cleaning it up and never apologized. Don't know what happened , but it has been happening lately to other friends of mine and today to me . Not a nice visit today at Beauticious Nails Salon when after I set up an appointment about a week in advance for 9:00am when they open and was already sitting in the chair to get my nails done , the owner tells the girl that is doing my nails to do the ladies pedicure that walked in 10 minutes after me . He nor she explained to me anything just that they are busy and that I needed to wait in a rude way. I am very patient , and understand, but the lady didn't have an appointment and they weren't courteous enough to explain . My friend and I left and will not return nor will I recommend this place like I have to so many people . Very poor customer service from the owner and they need more staff to keep up with the clientele. read more

Worst salon ever! Made an appointment for a French manicure and the man cut off all my nails. I came into the appointment with round nails and he cut and filed them square. Went for a gel manicure and 2 days later my nail chipped and completely peeled off went back to have them fix it which they made me feel bad that I would even ask. A day later 2 more chipped and peeling off it hasn't even been a week and I need to do a $25 manicure over again someplace else. read more

Love love love this place!!!!! Went for the first time today for a spa pedicure and it was FANTASTIC!!!! I've searched for months for a place I felt was clean and did a good job. This is the place. Ti (SPelling?) was fantastic. Personable, kind, and answered all my questions. The staff all seemed quite happy, like they enjoyed working there. Hot stone massage and all the rubbing was making me sleepy. I just needed a warm compress for my eyes and I'd have been a sleep!! Had I taken them up on a glass a wine, I would've been! It's a big space with a comfortable atmosphere and is super clean. They're very professional as well and make sure you know what you're paying for. They're outstanding for an affordable price. These people are terrible. Not only are they rude when you ask clarifying questions they also never have the availability do walk-in pedicures. Today I called in advance, made an appointment, and told the girl 5times I wanted the $20 pedicure 5timesssssss and she still managed to mess it up and charge me $27.00. I can't. In all honesty, this is the cleanest, friendliest and best nail salon I've ever experienced. I've been in salons all over the world so I know what I'm talking about. The new location in the plaza is even bigger, brighter and even more parking. I live in Lowell and make the drive for both mani's and pedi's. Owners Tea and Kenny care about their customers time. They are on schedule 99% of the time but even when not, the time is maybe 5-10 minutes off The prices are reasonable for the service. This isn't a strip mall nail factory. Good work takes time and attention - both of which you get from any employee in this shop Try them out, just make sure they still have time for me! Had the best nail experience ever today. I was able to book my appointment online on a Sunday. I walked in I was greeted by my first name, was asked to select a color. Then a couple of minutes later I was greeted by Hannah. She was amazing and so so so sweet. My nails have never looked so good in my life. I stopped going to my original nail place because they were so inconsiderate and unprofessional. So trying this new nail salon I was a little nervous but I am so happy I did. I decided to try Beautacious after my nail lady had closed down, and was not having any luck finding a new place that I liked. I was able to walk in that first time and get a mani/pedi and have been happy ever since then! I prefer to see Ann, but anyone else in there is just as great. I came in to get a full set, it's was $28 (not a huge deal) but for what I paid for, I shouldn't be expecting uneven, already cracking after 4 days, sloppy nails. However, the last time I was there I had a pedicure with Mike because the girl I usually see was with another client. I do not recommend him.
