Be advised when making appointment with this salon that they close at a whim. Had a scheduled appointment. When I pulled up to salon it was closed. Called the salon number. Gentleman on inside of salon said owner had decided to close early because she needed to go somewhere. My husband called to schedule a regular pedicure for himself and a regular mani pedi for me. When I walked in, I told the owner I was there for my appointment and that I was getting a regular manicure and pedicure. They pointed me to the gel polish and I asked where the regular polish was and they said it's behind the gel bottles. Walked to the other side of the room and noticed some more polish and asked if these were regular nail polish as well and they said yes. I ended up choosing a color from the wall on the other side with the regular nail polish only. Our pedicures went well and I liked how meticulous the gentleman who was working on me was. My husband's toe nails were filed in an odd way that left them white on the ends. Then it was time for my manicure and he began by taking the buzz file to the tops of my fingernails. I should've stopped him immediately knowing this isn't normal. I just asked why are you doing that? Is that supposed to help the nail polish last longer? And he said yes. He then applied what I thought was a regular base coat and then I was switched to different girl so he could do somebody else's pedicure. When she picked up a different bottle than what was used on my toes, I spoke up. They said this is the gel and I said I did not schedule a gel manicure. My husband had already paid and they charged him for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. They tried to convince me to get a gel manicure and I was going to oblige, but they didn't have the same polish in gel since I chose my polish from the other side of the room. So they refunded me the difference and then had to remove the gel basecoat, but my natural nails were already destroyed from filing the tops down with the electronic buzzer. And to make matters worse, somebody else came in and the lady doing my nails kept telling her I'll be right with you, I'll be right with you. I didn't get any cuticle work done on my nails, I didn't get any massage or moisturizer and she rushed through the polish so fast that the edges of my nails didn't even have any color when she was done. I already have very brittle nails and now they're so damaged that they just keep peeling off in layers and will probably take two months to grow out the damage from the buzzer. BEST PEDICURE EVER. I cannot get over how nice and thorough my pedicure technician was. I've tried many different salons over the years, expensive, cheap, places with the best reputations/recommended by people I trust and I've never been that impressed. This place though...finally found a place that lived up to my expectations. The leg and foot massage alone was better than anywhere I've been. She actually applied pressure and took her time on each leg equally and the combo of hot stone and towel and oil = AMAZING! Then the attention to detail to my pedicure was unmatched. Made sure every nail was shaped, cuticles cut, no goopiness and no outlying polish (sadly not common at any of the nail salons I've been to) My mom paid for my mani pedi because it was my birthday weekend but I know it was a great deal. (Regular polish mani+pedi is only $45!?) Staff was super friendly and accommodating. PPE set up was great. I will absolutely be making the trip here again for my pedicures and recommend it to all my friends, even though it's a little out of the way for me I haven't been able to find service like this. Manicure was standard. I was very happy with the results. I will say I'm super picky with colors and very rarely stray from neutrals but the owner recommended this color and I was so pleased with it!!! read more

After an amazing tour of the PEM's library and art storage facility, I found myself with a couple of hours to myself, so I stopped by Le Nail, which is just across the road from the facility. The shop was buzzing with activity but they managed to squeeze me in for a manicure and pedicure. I'm not usually a huge massage person but the leg massage was both strong and gentle in all the right ways. I came out of the salon with my nails in tip top shape and feeling refreshed! I started going there about 8 months ago. The first several appoints were great and everything people have raved about.......but then I got the owners husband. Worst manicure I've ever experienced. It had to be redone less than a week after and this was a shellac service. I have never had one that lasted less than 3 weeks. This one was done in 5 days. I called to book a new pedicure and manicure, but asked specifically for a woman technician. The owner decided she would do my nails. I asked that my pedicure be done first because I did not want to wait for my toes to dry. I was very specific about that. First, she was VERY pist that I didn't like her husband's efforts from the week before. She was very condescending. I told her I would just do the manicure and forget the pedicure if I could not do the pedicure first. Halfway through my manicure, she suddenly decided there was a technician available to do my pedicure and she escorted me to the pedicure area. As the pedicure started, she switched and finished my manicure while I was having the pedicure. I go for these services to pamper myself and to relax. There was NOTHING relaxing about what was going on. The manicure was only a partial service, and I was left waiting for my toes to dry. When I refused to wait, the owner had a hissy fit. I paid the bill but did not leave a tip..........which I always over tip because I usually appreciate the service. Buyer beware.............. it will be hit or miss - service is NOT consistent and you cannot request your technician. The older gentleman who is the husband hates what he is doing and it shows in the service. His wife is not much better........ I will never go back. read more

I went in for a full set. The owner did them. I showed her multiple times the shape I wanted and the French tip I wanted. She didn't clean up my cuticles at all. She didn't put the acrylic up to my cuticles so it looks like some are already grown out. they are all chunky and different shapes. She didn't buff then or lotion my hands either which I found odd. But the worst is, when the nails were coming out bad I asked her nicely if she could just paint them all one color but she told me since she already started doing the french, no she wouldn't. I'm not confrontational so I said okay. I was surprised she would want me to be unhappy with something I'm paying for. When I called after to explain that I was just really unhappy with how they turned out she YELLED at me "I did them for an hour" ........ I also sat there for an hour to leave unhappy. Poor skill, place is NOT clean to begin with and customer service is not good either. Go somewhere else. read more

I hate giving them 1 star. I will never go back to them. I had a problem with my manicure and the female owner was rude and overbearing. She insisted it was me and not them. My manicure became sticky and attracted black lint from my sweatshirt. I told them I have never had this problem and she insisted it was something I put my hands in. I tried to tell her no I haven't changed any products at home or work so it is them and she wouldn't hear it. Anna redid my manicure and within 24 hours it happened again I showed them again and the female owner was rude and wouldn't hear of it!!! Stay clear of this place!!!! Just moved to Massachusetts and I needed a new nail salon. This place is AMAZING!!! I called and made an appointment same day. Place is VERY clean. Following all policies with social distancing, masks etc. now to the good part I'm very picky when it comes to my manicures and pedicures at this point I just needed a refresh not expecting too much BUT I will make this my salon for dip powder manicure and stone pedicure. I am new to the area and unfortunately will not be returning to this salon. First off, the atmosphere and professionalism of the owner who did my nails was awful. As a paying customer i should not feel uncomfortable. Every single nail of mine is filed unevenly to the point my husband even noticed! I smudged two of my nails accidentally on the gel lamp and her response was that it was "my fault" when i asked her to please fix it. You would rather a customer leave with smudged nails then taking 5 mins of your time to fix them? Cuticles are not cleaned up when doing a service which i have never not have done with a mani or any type of nail service. Forger lotion as well. When cuticles were mentioned, it was totally disregarded and oil was put on my nails instead of cleaning them up. Poor service overall and will not be returning. read more

I have been a Le Nail customer since 2015 and can say best mani / pedi in the area. The reason why they are so busy? They are the best!! Elaine who reviewed on 10/31/19 or so, this is directly to you....if you are going to post a derogatory review about a business and their performance, fine. But I was there the day you came in and LOUDLY AND REPEATEDLY complained about your nails. To the point where you were ruining my experience and the people in salon. The "rude" female owner you referred to in your review is the one who was doing my nails at the time you came in. She was not rude, she never raised her voice. She was trying to find out what happened because they did the EXACT SAME POLISH ON YOUR FEET so it didn't make sense. She was willing from the beginning to do your manicure again at no charge. I don't live near Le Nail anymore, but I make sure to make an appointment whenever I'm in town because they are by far the best nail salon I've found in the area. Their pedicures are always relaxing and of highest quality including a hot stone massage and comfortable massage chairs. They have a great selection of nail colors and stay up to date on the newest OPI line. Le Nail is no longer a hidden secret of the North Shore, so it's best to make an appointment if you don't want to wait. I highly recommend Le Nail, as I've been coming here for a few years with my Mom and sister. read more

If no stars was an option I would honestly say that is my opinion. Le the owner is one of the most rude, pushy women I have ever encountered. If you want to be told "no" for everything you ask then this is your place. I get my nails done faithfully every 3 1/2 weeks. I am fortunate to have long natural nails. However, Le has full on argued with me on several occasions that my nails are "too long" & I "need to cut dem down". My nails are no longer than a full set of acrylics, for which people pay good money for. I think the real reason for her determination to chop my nails off is because of the time it takes her to do longer nails. My last visit to Le ended in me not getting a manicure because she insisted on arguing with me about doing a french with an off white vs a white. She refused because "she never do that before" & when I explained to her it is the exact same thing she said that if I had it done somewhere else before I should go back to that salon. While getting my pedicure Le continued to argue with me in front of everyone in the salon screaming from across the place "I NEVER DO YOUR NAIL AGAIN". Wow what a pleasant experience that was. Oh & of course I forgot my water so when my mother went back in to get it Le started on her. Asking if I was her daughter & "what was wrong with me". NICE. read more

I recently moved to the area and tried Le Nail. The staff were polite and the place was clean, however, my DIP nails fell off within four days. I went back and they fixed those few nails but then the rest fell off again within another few day and one of the ones they fixed broke. Dip normally needs to be soaked off but the nail tech showed me how she used a different adhesive the second time that she never used the first time. It was clear they just used a basic bottom coat polish instead of any form of adhesive as the nails fell off like they were stick ons. My mom went with me the first time and hers fell off too. She had a different nail tech so obviously this was not just a mistake. Very very disappointed. read more

I went into this salon at 6:20pm tonight, 40 minutes before close. After a short discussion with a women the man at the front desk told me there "would not be enough time for a manicure." With 40 minutes until close I would hope that a nail salon would offer a customer the chance to wait for a manicurist to free up. I wasn't aware this salon wasn't willing to risk staying after a few minutes past close if that to wait on a customer. This is the first time I have tried this salon and I will NOT being going back again. Any quality nail salon would be able to take a client 40 minutes before close, but not this salon. I live a half hour away from here but it is worth the drive overtime. Definitely the only place I go! I definitely recommend making an appointment. For those complaining about the walk in service just make an appointment! If they can't take you on a walk in that means they are busy--and busy is good! I'd much rather a place that is busy then one that is a ghost town. Anyways, this place is VERY clean, always. They have a good assortment of colors and good technicians. If your in a rush for a pedicure this is your place... My service was completed in 20 mins! Funny that it was started about 5 mins (I know it's only 5 mins) after 2 other customers but I was done 10 mins before they were. Had such a great pedicure. I had a good experience upon entering. Very welcoming. Plenty of colors to choose from, the tech actually advised me against the first color I chose ( I try to pick 2 and think on it) and my second choice looked much better. The leg massage was great, hot stones are a total bonus. The place is clean, big and reasonably priced. Next time I go I think I'll pick up a color to bring then can touch up from home. My rating may be swayed a bit because I never actually got any service done at Leba's... I called to make a group appointment (for a wedding) 2 weeks prior. I called 1 week prior to the appointment to reconfirm the details. On the day of the appointment when my MOH arrived at the salon, a Leba's associate told her there was no appointment, there weren't any available openings, and that perhaps we called the wrong salon (Georgetown?). She basically shooed her out before she even knew what was happening! The salon caused a lot of confusion and their rudeness made my friend feel badly. We then needed to scramble to find new appointments in the area for wedding nails. Customer service begins on the phone and Leba's doesn't have it. read more

Reluctant am I to give this place the stars they deserve because I dread the day everyone learns that this really is the best place in Massachusetts for nail care. Yes, I said it. Not the best place on the North Shore nor the best place in the Boston region - quite possibly the best place in New England. It is so. I travel quite a bit and have been to nail salon after nail salon. The day I discovered Le Ba's, all of my mani/pedi prayers were answered! The former owner was great and they recently changed hands. I admit that I was reluctant for the change but it has actually made this place even better. They apply UV gel like no other and airbrush the tips. My nails are perfect every single time without fail. The people are incredibly friendly and loving. They have become like a second family to me. When you sit back in the chair for your pedicure, you will feel relaxed and unrushed. It is best to call ahead and make an appointment because they are so good that they tend to be pretty busy. I will tell you ladies that we have other amazing nails salons that are clean, pleasant and do amazing work. This place is beyond dirty, the employees are extremely rude and unhappy and the actually service they provide it below average. After making an appointment I still waited for 20 minutes. Sat down to dirty station with someone else's nail clippings. When I asked for a new clean towel they looked at me like I was the crazy one. The nail service was no better. I then had to file my own nails as the tech complained they we too short. I asked them to not worry about the length but more the shape. They wouldn't do it. I should have gotten up at that point but didn't because I had hope still..... My nails look like my 3 year old daughter did them. I then sat down to get my toes done. Thinking this would be relaxing. I was so wrong! I didn't realize my pedicure was the "express" because I was done with the whole thing in under 15 minute. Beyond disappointed by the whole thing. FYI This place is now called Le Nails no longer LeBa's Nails. Just a name change! First time coming here today and I had to make an appointment and come back because it was so busy. Totally fine! That's a good thing if it's busy on a Tuesday afternoon!! Came back and got a mani-pedi which is $40 and the pedicure is out of this world. The technician had very strong hands and there was hot stone massage included. So it felt wonderful and I fell asleep in the chair. The salon is very clean and looks really nice. The technicians were friendly and the owner was even friendlier thanking me profusely for coming back since it was busy earlier. I will be back next month for a shellac manicure. I went to Leba's Nails in Rowley recently for the first time and I had the most incredible pedicure ever! They bring one special service to the pedicure that I never had. They used smooth, hot stones to message my feet and legs. It was a wonderful, relaxing, special touch that puts them hands above any other salon I have been to. I ONLY go to LeBa's - I'm 30 Mins away, but my nails always look awesome coming from there. Yes, the credit card machine is always broken, but NEVER had a tech that was Rough, or hurt. I've tried so many other places that are closer to the city and more convenient for me - but never get the best result - Leba's is always a guaranteed job well done.
