I was so happy to walk in to Lucky Nails and see what great safety measures were made due to the pandemic. I felt like I was walking in to a new spa! I was instructed to fill out a form, sanitize my hands and have my temperature taken. Plexiglass dividers are tastefully protecting you from others and your manicurist. Everything is spread out and clean. Plenty of hand sanitizer. Only one other customer was having a pedicure. We all wore our masks. Teresa, an owner, immediately sanitized/cleaned everything including the pedicure massage chair. She even opened the door so I didn't have to touch the handle on my way out after my manicure. I highly recommend Lucky Nails. Not only was my mani/pedi excellent but I also felt very safe. I've been a client for many years and am in my 50s. read more

Big shout out to Lucky Nails in North Andover, Ma. After 4 Long months I finally got my nails done. I could have gone to New Hampshire but would not jump ship! I love going to Lucky so I waited. So glad I did. Theresa and Sindy and their crew are always so friendly and accommodating. The salon is fully rigged for the customers protection with plexiglass spacers in between the pedicure chairs and at the manicure stations. Hand sanitizer everywhere you look. Everyone wore masks. Temperature was taken upon arrival. Only 4 people in the salon when I was there. I felt very safe as the salon was spotless! Great job in making your customers feel safe Lucky Nails! I was in desperate need of a mani, pedi and eyebrow wax before a wedding, and of course, I was on a budget. Lucky Nails was able to see me on very short notice, and I got a very decent manicure and pedicure for $34. There was nothing over-the-top special about the service, but my nails looked nice, my feet were smooth, and I was in and out in an hour. There were TONS of regulars coming through for manicures and pedicures, and booking right then and there for their next appointment. I love that about a place. BUT...the honeymoon was over as soon as it was time for my eyebrow wax. I was led by the owner out of the shop and up a dingy staircase. I had to pick my way through piles of dog hair and crushed dog food in the hallway, and then I was let in to an apartment that was steaming hot. I had to walk through a front room into a sweltering back room with a waxing table. I was skeeved out to the max. Mani/pedi for $34 -- go for it. I've been going to Lucky Nails for over 8 years and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is super nice, always a great selection of colors and the prices are definitely the most affordable in the area. They get "Best Of" awards year after year and I always came back home from Boston during college to get my nails done here because anything else was a disappointment. They also have the new gel shellac now; I just got that done for the first time tonight and I am loving it! Teresa is by far my favorite out of all of the women that work there! Sindy and Theresa have done an incredible job with reopening after Covid. These wonderful women have taken every precaution to ensure the safety of their guests and the cleanliness of their salon. From the moment you walk in you have hand sanitizer, consent form, pick your color, wash your hands and then your ready to go. They have adequately spaced out the salon to ensure the social distancing and have placed plexi glass on each station and have created plexi glass dividers between pedicure stations. They are sanitizing every one the they can to ensure everyone feels safe and it is kept clean. read more

Got my nails done yesterday and couldn't be happier and/or more impressed with Lucky Nails! I've been going here for a few years now and never leave disappointed. Staff is friendly and treat you like family, it's always clean, and even with their large selection of colors, they're always keeping up with the latest collections! Although I've been hesitant to do much during the pandemic, these girls put a lot of time and effort into rearranging the salon to assure everyone stays safe. Clients have to fill out a safety form and their temperatures are taken at the door, partitions are set up between pedicure stations, manicure tables are spread out and have plexiglass sneeze-guards, and the staff sanitizes everything between appointments. I will never go to this place again. Went here for a gel manicure (which is supposed to last about 2 weeks) and it started peeling off after 3 days! It was completely off after 5 days! If I could give 0 stars I would! read more

I've been going to this salon for a few years now. They've always had a great selection of colors for nails and are very kind, polite people. However, in the past year they've increased their prices and got rid of the nail dryers for regular nail polish. You just sit there to let them dry now. For $15 manicure with regular polish, I would expect some drying machine or even a fan. I hope they bring the nail dryers back, otherwise, I might look elsewhere. read more

I have been going to Lucky Nails for almost 11 years now! The owners are 2 sisters who are extremely nice, and so are the rest of the women who work there. They always make time for me and even take walk-ins. Mani/pedis and gel all for reasonable prices. I usually get tips and never break my bank. The salon has been re-done since new ownership and it has a very relaxing and modern feel. It looks much better inside then it did with the precious owners. Almost looks like a new place! read more

I have been a regular client for over 15 years at Lucky Nails in North Andover. First let me say that there are new owners, Teresa and Cindy, who bought it and changed many things for the better in the past year. Please disregard the part of the review from 2010 and the waxing. That is totally out of date and irrevelant. There is no upstairs waxing at all. (Previous owners) The salon is freshly painted and renovated, its clean and sanitary and up to date on all health codes. They have the latest colors and products such as Gelish and Shellac. The prices are very reasonable and increased once in all the years I have been going there. They take walk-ins, give a nice relaxing spa pedicure and I cant think of a reason to go elsewhere. I had not been to this salon in 4 years, but decided to return based on the recent reviews it had received. Since I had been there, new management has taken over and the salon supposedly had a facelift. The salon was brighter then in the past but it seems run down, like no one cares anymore. Flies were buzzing around all over the place and the tv was blaring. I had a mani pedi and the woman who did them was so rough and in a huge hurry as I had both done in 50 minutes. Unfriendly service. For $38. Will definitely not return. read more

Less than 24 hours after getting acrylics here they snapped off, the shape was not at all what I asked for (I even provided a picture) and they were thin, misshapen, and bended. I've gotten acrylics at lots of places and this is by far the worst. read more

My usual nail place was booked so i decided to go here based on reviews. I waited an hour to be taken. My gel is chipped & cracked after 5 days when it's supposed to last two weeks and my cuticles weren't maintained. $28. Ridiculous. As frequent customers of this place, I'm sad to say we will never go back. The manicures have gotten sloppier and sloppier as time has gone on and after waiting for over and hour (with an appointment) we weren't even cared for this past time. They overbook and you're left waiting unless you have fake or acrylic nails-- you're cared for immediately. Our years of giving them business are done. read more

I've been to Lucky Nails many times. Most of the time I have a scheduled appointment. I show up at the scheduled time and I'm told to wait. It's not that they're just finishing up with a client, they've squeezed another person or walk in between appointments!! Very frustrating, it's not a five minute wait either! Quite a few times I had to walk out! The last time I made an appointment, I had an emergency and could not cancel. I clef the next day to apologize and reschedule..they would NOT pick up after seeing my number on caller ID! So I tried the next day..let it ring and ring...nothing! No answer. This is a POOR way to run a business! It's ok for them to inconvenience the client but don't do it to them! I will be telling EVERYONE about this experience. I will NEVER return!!! read more

He rushed through it, causing my nail beds to bleed because he was either careless or just aggressive in general.
