Eh, not impressed by the food at all. Got French dip and a cajun chicken melt,regular and curly fries, all to go. Food got kinda steamed on my ride home so i suppose i can't fairly review the fries. Cajun chicken melt was bland as heck. It didn't even seem like it had salt or pepper on it, much less and sort of spicey flavor. French dip was also pretty bland and there wasn't a lot of au jus to go with it. The place was decently sized and there were a fair amount of people there while i waited, around 2pm. Have been to Tito's twice now as a post Sunday tennis hangout, and it's my new fave breakfast spot. Food: first time there I ordered chicken fried steak which I got with White toast, crispy hashed browns, and eggs over-medium. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the steak & gravy were delicious, and the hashed browns were crispy and tasty. Iced tea was flowing and tasted fresh. The second visit was traditional French toast, eggs over-medium and crispy bacon. Everything tasted great, bacon and eggs were perfect and French toast was fluffy and delish. Service: Took a while to get seated the first time, but they were busy so we sat at the counter. Counter service was great and seats were comfy. Second time we went earlier and got seated in a booth right away. Service was a little more spotty but food came quick and hot. We just sort of were forgotten with refills and picking up the check once we were done eating as we hung out after. Ambiance/Decor: it IS in a mini mall, but let's get real, your toilet seats are 50 years old, the bathroom paper towels are leftovers from high school class of '84, and the coffee cups are old and chipped/stained. We were greeted & quickly seated (9am Saturday). Great selection for breakfast, as well as pretty much everything else you may be looking for. Full menu, plus daily specials. My Belgian waffle may have been one of the best waffles I've ever had. My son enjoyed his pancakes. Sausages were good. I'm giving 3 stars because while the food was really good, the service was just "ok". Very friendly for sure just not a fantastic experience. Our waiter forgot to bring my side of artichoke chicken sausage and even said when he served our food that it was coming...well? About halfway through our meal it still hadn't come so as our waiter was passing by, even with a smile, and seeming oblivious that I still hadn't gotten my sausage, I stopped him and said "you can just cancel that side of sausage" and with a surprised look on his face he said "really? Are you sure?" Haha! I said "uhhh yes? I'm halfway through my food...so ya" ?? My husband wasn't too impressed with the chorizo omelet, said it had a funky flavor, like it had clove in it? Said he's never tasted that in chorizo before and didn't care for it. I loved my artichoke scramble (hardly any artichoke in it) but still very flavorful with the feta and sun dried tomatoes (they put way too many of the sun dried toms-overkill!). The coffee is great and they provide you with lots of creamers - regular and vanilla! ...and their jellies/preserves are homemade and super yummy! Same with the salsa! The location is great! A very busy plaza with plenty of parking. The restaurant is the old Simi 4 Deli and the inside needs a serious decor upgrade I'd definitely give it another try and recommend it especially because I love supporting our local community small business owners!! read more

Service was great (our waitress was super sweet), the food was good as well. Small gripe, the food did take a little long to coming out. The tables are a bit small as well...we barely fit with all the food we ordered (4 dudes). Other than that, it's a great spot for breakfast/lunch. This is my Breakfast spot. They do things the old fashion way, and for this location it works. First by writing the your meal order down on a paper, No POS.point of Sale system. The ticket time for my last visit was about 5 minutes for my dish and it was a denver omelette with home potatoes.The portion size of this dish was very fulfilling. On each table is filled with plenty of condiments and choices of your own seasoning. My favorites are the chili verde green salsa and the home made jam. If your a coffee drinker they also provide different flavors,hazelnut and french vanilla. Good coffee. On my last visit the female server was very attentive and friendly. Tio's is located in the 24 hour fitness (Tapo) and Joanne's shopping center, pretty hidden.
