After reading reviews from Tintas it seems like your experience is going to be great or a dud. Ours were great. My wife and I went to several show rooms for counter tops, flooring , and cabinets for our remodel of our new house in the area. We found quartzite counter tops that we liked at another place in Scottsdale. They were several hundred dollars cheaper . Tintas did a price match and did the fabrication which the competitor would not. The installation was excellent. There was only one seem in the cut of the quartz on the kitchen countertop and they did a great job to make that look like you couldn't see the cut. read more

Since Tintas did our counters in our home, we decided to use them for our RV as well. We looked all over for RV fabricators and found one in Mesa. We liked the fact that Tintas was willing to do it at their facility in Surprise and since we used them before, we were excited that they agreed to do our RV. They did an outstanding job, as usual. We looked at so many places for granite and talked with many fabricators. In the end, I am very happy that we ended up choosing Tintas. To my knowledge they are the only seller who also fabricates their own stone. This gave us peace of mind throughout the process since they would be able to help in replacing the stone if something happened during the fabrication process. If you buy elsewhere and have to go through a third party fabricator, things can get complicated if the stone breaks or anything else happens during the fabrication. All of the staff at Tintas are so friendly and helpful. They were always offering help and advice which we really needed since we have never done a natural stone counter before. Tintas did a really amazing job on the granite install for the small utility sink area near my laundry room. The builder of my home had placed this cabinet as renumeration for an unrelated oversight but nothing more (sink/countertop etc). From the initial sales meeting to the time the location was measured to the install, I would say took about three weeks. They were able to match my existing granite and countertop "eased edge" in the kitchen. I had a special request to move the sink slightly left to accomodate my supplies and they were happy to show me how it would all look. In addition, their team even cut the hole for me for the faucet. Delighted with how this project turned out and for what I would consider a reasonable price considering the time labor and size of the cabinet. read more

Our countertops are beautiful! We completely remodeled our kitchen and love the results. The only thing I wish was a little better was the plywood used under the island. It's not the best quality, pics provided. The installation guys were okay. Didn't speak English. When we asked if they would be installing metal brackets in the island, they said they were not needed, but we had an18" overhang on the island so we insisted. Then when our tintas representative arrived at our residence, he made sure the metal brackets were used and he said they wouldn't charge us for them. So they made the situation better. Overall we are really pleased with the counters and will recommend tintas to friends and family. read more

"Bill" the owner assisted in helping us secure a new floor for our entire house and then a matching granite to tie it all together. Bill, the owner, came to our home to measure and install a 36" x 25" granite countertop with an 8" backsplash for a new cabinet we had ordered for our kitchen. We wanted a granite that would be similar to our existing in color and tone and an edge that would match our existing. We understood that the granite would not be a match due to the fact that our existing granite was 20 years old. That is not the problem. The edge is the problem thin, cheap looking, and does not match our existing edge. WE PAID $890.00 FOR THIS CHEAP looking job. So Bill comes to my home to see my complaint and says that I ordered the wrong thickness for that edge. I chose 3 mm thickness, and it should have been 2 mm. AS the customer, I do not know the outcome of 3mm vs. 2mm. Bill knew I was putting my trust in the professional I thought he was. Bill was at my home and saw my existing edge. Bill (being the pro) should have told me and I would have chosen something else. I wish Bill would have directed me to the 2mm. So Bill says he'll "redu" the job with 2 mm for an additional $750.00. What do you think? The lighter, thin top is the new one from Tintas. It does not look finished. Waste of money. read more

The actual owner came out and did estimate and promised us a "professional job" yet we were somewhat satisfied being the grout was sloppy, and counters were NOT smoothed out like needed. BUT was MOST disappointing is we had quite a lot of material left, enough to do our bathrooms and in the process of remodeling, THE OWNER stole and kept our remaining granite and said he had SOLD IT!!! So we could've called police but had NO proof in writing he still had material in his place of business. We should of had it delivered to our home, but we trusted him, which was so wrong!!!! Tintas Granite & Flooring performed a superb job in our master bedroom, along with a few other areas in our house. They have the absolute best inventory of marble, granite and quartzite in their slab yard that we have seen in the greater Phoenix area. Bill Tintas (owner) took us through the slab yard and explained each type of stone and brought out each slab we liked so that we could carefully inspect them before making a decision. It would have been so much easier (cooler) in January rather than August, but that was our choosing. We chose Quartzite -Fascination. Alisseo and David fabricated and installed the quartzite slabs in our large shower, master bath vanities and tub area. They are master fabricators! One of the slabs in our shower area must have weighed 700-800 lbs! These slabs were carefully delivered and perfectly installed. Joe did a fantastic job in preparing the shower floor, beveling it so the drain now works perfectly. Tibby installed the natural stone on the shower floor and it looks beautiful. We purchased all the plumbing from Central Arizona Supply. They have a sizable showroom and Bryan Gover spent a good deal of time going through all the fixtures and best options. Daniel is the plumbing master who installed everything and we can't say enough about his expertise. Bill actively supervised the construction to our satisfaction and takes a great deal of pride in his company and employees. Kat was our office coordinator, is super sweet on the phone, very accommodating and very prompt at returning our calls. We live in Sun City Grand and saw Tintas' trucks at many homes in our area since we moved here last year. We decided to go to their store and see what they offered. Upon entering the store's showroom, we were greeted by the owner Bill and staff, the nicest folks ever. Extremely professional and courteous, from the beginning to end. We had Tintas install quartz countertops in our kitchen and two bathrooms, along with new sinks and backsplash in the kitchen. We feel blessed we used Tintas. The staff gave us recommendations and suggestions. Anytime we called or went to the store we were always greeted with kindness and professionalism. They answer the phone and/or return calls promptly. My husband and I visited Tintas looking for flooring and countertops for our church restrooms. We were greeted by a kind young woman who directed us out to their yard to look at countertop materials. A man came out whom we thought was a salesman, but he was the owner, Bill Tintas. We told him what we were looking for, but that we need to choose the floor tile before we choose the countertop. He showed us some tile that we could choose from for a reduced price. After we chose what we wanted, which was very beautiful, good quality porcelain, we asked him how much it would cost. He said that he wanted to donate it to our church. We were so surprised! We never met him before and our church is Clarkdale Baptist Church in Clarkdale, AZ. Not his church. He assured us that is what he wants to do and was very helpful. He said he would throw in the thinset and grout for free as well.
