This company came out to drill a hole in our granite for an RO system. The owner, Joshua, was able to get an installer out within minutes, which was amazing! Unfortunately, the gentleman Frank drilled the hole the wrong size--too big. Now, our RO faucet does not sit properly on the counter, and we will have to rig it up, ruining the aesthetics. We told him BEFORE he started drilling that the bit looked too big, but he insisted it was fine. He didn't measure the bit up to the sizing diagram we provided him. We contacted Joshua, who proceeded to curse and threaten us with lawyers if we didn't pay him. Joshua stated that the services were rendered and that if we didn't pay, he would put a lien on our home (over $250 ). Joshua was screaming that he would show up to our home with lawyers and his crew and that "they don't make 1 inch diamond drill bits for granite (lol)" I mean really, it's a hole. It's too big. The guy didn't measure twice cut once. Calm down Joshua, no need to scream at people. No wonder your employee told us to contact him directly if there were any issues. We are not going to be bullied into paying for services that we didn't request- which is a hole too big for our faucet that we now have to fix. Please look elsewhere unless you like dealing with hotheads. Edit: If the owner thinks this install is acceptable- a wobbly install, not seated on the counter, with a gap visible from across the room, then he really is as delusional as he sounded when he cursed out my husband and threatened to show up at my house with 'his lawyer' if we didn't pay him. If this is the type of work the public wants from a company, and an owner that resorts to immediately screaming and threatening the customer over his employees mistake, then please hire Surprise Granite and good luck with that. read more

Do yourself a big favor and find another Granite Company. Dishonest, unprofessional and shady. Unfortunately, we were not able to give them a zero instead of one star. Gave a $250 deposit for a fabricator to come out for our countertop. The fabricator never contacted us and never showed up. After seven days and numerous calls to the salesmen, we asked for a refund because service was not rendered. We were eventually notified by email that our deposit was not going to be refunded. Phone call to the owner (Josh) resulted In Josh telling me that he was not going to refund our deposit even though the Fabricator made no attempt to contact with us. Josh was of the opinion because his salesmen initially came to the house to view the project, his company was entitled to our deposit. The deposit was for the fabricator who never showed up. In the end, Josh got very rude, upset and told me to F off and hung up the phone. Never had a business owner act this way but there's always a first. read more

Their show room has a large selection of countertops/cabinets. Service was great, someone came out the very next day to give me a quote and I received it by email the same day! Love how they can take care of my whole project from cabinets to countertops down to plumbing. read more

I am so glad I decided to go with Josh to help us with countertops. I had looked around at a few other places and nobody took the time to explain anything to me like Josh had. The customer service was amazing and he was able to get everything done within a week! He did have to go back on how much he quoted me and charge me more, but all in all, I'm beyond happy with the results. We will be reaching out to Josh for our future flips! read more

Absolute worst company! Josh, the owner, came out to our house to quote us on installing stone countertops. He then started soliciting for "other jobs" on our house, saying they are a complete remodeling company. Josh is a smooth talker and a shister, so here is where he got us. We had a tile guy do a terrible job and walk with 1/2 our money. Josh said he could not only make it better, but his tile guy was absolutely amazing, 20+ years doing tile. The one thing that was extremely important to me that I told him was that I wanted the tile to be level so you didn't catch you feet/shoes or furniture on uneven tile. Our floors aren't level and we understood that, but we still said we insisted on even tile! It may not be level, but you can still lay evenness. About 20% into the job I noticed they weren't doing the random pattern I had discussed with Josh and the tiles were not even/level. We brought Josh in right away to discuss. He tried to say I never said anything about the pattern (how the heck do you know what to do then? You just chose what pattern YOU want? Bull crap! Lie #1 When pointing out the tile that wasn't level/even, he tried to say it was the floor's fault because it's not level. Wait, didn't you say you could fix that? Another lie! He got super disrespectful and sexist with me so my husband had to step in. Issues just continued from here. Josh has NO CLUE about tile! 3/4 into the job they started to grout certain areas. I called Josh to ask why, when there are many tiles that need replaced. He said "I don't know, it's probably to hold the tiles in place". Really? Are you kidding me? He clearly had no clue that grout has nothing to do with the stability of tile, at all! The tile layer continued to lay uneven tile. We had to pay for additional tile to have him redo over 100 tiles and there is still many many tiles that SHOULD BE replaced. There shouldn't be cockeyed and twisted tiles with corners sticking up every where. I even layed two rows of tile myself just so I could experience if it was truly the floor or the person laying the tile. Guess what, all tile was even where I laid it and I replaced 3 tiles they did and they are now even!!! When they considered to be finished, the entire house had 1-2' of mortar on the walls and the floor had such a think layer of grout film still there. Josh said "well, they mopped it". Now, come to find out, the tile layer destroyed our refrigerator when moving it to lay tile. We unfortunately paid 100% of what was due and I wish we hadn't! We will be filing a complaint with BBB and on his ROC. He is all of a sudden not answering calls since he has his money. More pics of uneven tiles to come.. Update: pics of some of the uneven tiles added. Upon owner receiving American Express dispute and this review, we have since been receiving threatening and harassing text messages, both myself and husband. He has tried denying any involvement in damaging our property, even though we have proof and I personally spoke with the tiler who chipped our floors from moving the refrigerator. Side note: I just noticed from another reviewer that this company tried to come back and charge her more after their agreed quote. Josh did the same to us. He gave us a quote and we agreed, then when it came time to start he came back and said "this is going to take a lot more work because we have to grind down and level the floor". read more

Buyer beware. They damaged my cabinet which I took pictures of and showed them but Surprise Granite said since I did the demolition I did the damage. Their caulking was horrible, I had to go back and make it look professional. The company they use to cut my quartz counter top couldn't cut the back splash correctly . The back splash was to be 3", they cut 'one' at 2 15/16" and the installers installed it like that. I had them correct it to make the seams match. As far as the Owner, Josh Breese, he called me and threaten to take me to court for non- payment. I tried to explain the reason I had not paid was because the job was not completed due to a broken sink from shipping. He was not even aware of my conversation with his staff five minutes earlier about the completion time frame. And yes Josh, "I have worked with people like you, too". The only positive thing I can say was that they were timely on installation of my two bathroom countertops replacement. If Surprise Granite wants customers to return, they need to change their attitude and hire professional installers. read more

I just recently had my previous kitchen countertop and backsplash removed and replaced with quartz. Fred came out and took the measurements and quoted a price for me. He had Cortes granite come out and do the fabrication and installation. Everyone did a great job and I love my new countertops! I can't say enough good things about Fred.
