David from Discount Granite AZ did an excellent job. From the first contact, he was clear, quick, and precise. I sent him the measurements, and he gave me a quote that he honored after coming to my home to take his own measurements. I really enjoyed working with him because there were no gray areas or misunderstandings. He was upfront about the work and how long it would take, and he kept his word. He is serious, respectful, polite, and professional. The installation was quick and organized, and everything was left very clean. The entire process went smoothly and on time. I would hire him again and recommend him to family and friends. It was a pleasure working with him. Five stars, and I wish him the best with his business! read more

David was a real pleasure to work with. He is very experienced, knowledgeable and really walked us through our options and what to expect. He also provided great resources to go and view the granite in person. From the day we picked out what we wanted to the day of install was only a week, which was amazing. Pricing is fair, craftsmanship was awesome. I would definitely recommend working with David his company at discount granite. read more

Edit: Discount Granite decided to double down on their rudeness. Just read their response and decide if that's a company you want to deal with. They did not tell me to go see this slab in person, nor did they even send a photo of the material to me before they cut it. And how dare they take credit for Arizona Tile offering to replace the slab. I reached out to Arizona Tile and complained and they offered to contact Discount Granite to see what could be done and then Arizona Tile offered to make things right and replace the material. Kudos to them, but not Discount Granite. We actually told them Arizona Tile offered to replace the material and I heard CRICKETS from Discount Granite for over a week. April 30th I text them this and they waited until I followed up May 7th. AND THEN THEY JUST WANTED MONEY, not to try to give good service and make sure the customer was happy. See attached screenshots. Original post: I now have a terrible, ugly granite countertop which was not the tan/brown look I had requested from them. To top it off, these guys were rude, blamed it all on us, and took no accountability at all for their terrible communication. Then they mouthed off to my husband and threatened to get a lien against us. Nasty experience. Run, don't walk, away from Discount Granite. I am now shopping for somebody to rip out their terrible work. read more

David with Discount Granite did an excellent job in my kitchen and I am so happy with how it turned out! After getting a quote for my countertops from a different company, I decided to reach out to Discount Granite. David responded right away and came out the same day. He answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. He gave me a quote that was MUCH less than the other company, AND he was also able to do the counter and sink in the half bath with the leftover piece from the granite slab from the kitchen. His company does the fabrication so there's no "middle man" saving lots of money. Less than 2 weeks after his on-site estimate, they came out and installed everything and I LOVE my new kitchen!! I highly recommend David with Discount Granite . They did a beautiful job...quickly and efficiently, and very affordable! I chose Colonial White granite and it's perfect. read more

We went with David because he was straightforward and we liked him when we met him. He does pick up his phone when you call. Here's our story. Hired him to do the job. Negotiated price and got $600 discount which was in line with competitive quotes. We were given install dates and we asked the sink size and faucet size that would be appropriate for the bathrooms and kitchens. We ordered everything after double checking with him and then sending to his warehouse. Week of install dates. My fiancé responded to a text message from David 30 minutes after he texted and was told that we responded too late so the job would have to be the next week. Not a big deal. The install date comes and David had to move it up 24 hours due to another appointment. Not a big deal. Install happens. It's a mess. The faucets don't fit because the sinks are too big. Which if we had coordinated it all with David for fit, why would that be an issue? The vanities are identical in guest bathrooms yet he didn't install the same size counters. Why? Only one side of countertop was caulked and when asked why, he said "oh that isn't necessary my guy shouldn't have done that." But everywhere was caulked besides one wall so that makes no sense. He forgot to put countertop against the wall. When he came back to replace the counter top that was too small he put on the other piece but it is all too small for it's replacement. I've put pictures in here. End of the day, I wouldn't hire him again but if you want to be told that's what you get for a $600 discount, then hire David. read more

I had a really great experience with Discount Granite. I was looking for a countertop for a hallway nook. Didn't want to spend a ton getting a slab that needed to be finished and cut to size. Discount granite had a remnant in stock that I loved. The whole process was great and very happy with the install. I will do business with this company in the future. read more

Overall great experience. I wanted to update three bathroom vanities at my house with granite. I called David, texted him some measurements and pictures, and he gave me a very good quote for fabrication and installation right over the phone, plus offered to sell me some remnants at a discount so I didn't have to buy a whole slab. Long story short, I went to his place on Tuesday to look at granite, he measured at my house on Wednesday, and he and his team installed the finished countertops on Thursday. The whole process took 3 days! How often does that happen? Very pleased - would definitely use again. read more

David and his team did a fantastic job! I had shopped around for quotes and Discount granite had the best pricing. Our first meeting: - David came out and took measurements of our kitchen, master and guest bathrooms. - He was able to provide us a quote on everything from the countertops, labor, sinks, and plumbing. - He educated us about the process, recommended some finishes for our countertop edges and also names of wholesalers where I could go and pick out what color slab I wanted. Our second meeting: - He came out a second time after we chose which countertops we wanted to confirm the measurements he took were correct and to pickup the faucets and kitchen sink we had purchased. 2 weeks later as promised David had the countertops finished and was able to install everything and it turned out great! I have already recommended him to my sister and parents who are currently in the process of updating their countertops. read more

David was a pleasure to work with for installing my new granite countertops. He responded quickly to all inquiries, was very informative and helped me to make my final selection ( I knew I wanted black counters, I just wasn't sure if I wanted granite or quartz ), and he and his crew were complete professionals and did a fantastic job. Another big plus was that the removal of the old counters, haul away and installing the new plumbing was all included so there were no added costs or need to hire another contractor. This was a GREAT experience with David! He was nice and professional! Very prompt and knowledgeable. He showed up and showed us pics and samples. Gave us a quote for ALL services (counters, backsplash, new kitchen sink), no hidden costs. We went and picked out the slab and let him know we were ready. We than gave him half down payment and than half when they finished. We did a big remodel and he made this part of the process very easy! read more

I wouldn't recommend this company based on my experience. They were running behind for my initial appointment so we rescheduled for another date. They cancelled my second appointment without asking me. Instead, David asked if he could drop by my home while I was at work. I asked to reschedule for another date, because I wanted to be present for the appointment. They didn't give me a third date and asked me to take my own measurements and order my stone from their wholesaler. He was essentially asking me to do his job (IMHO). After this response, I went with another company on Yelp (see my review) I'm sure David is a nice guy and does great work. At the same time, if you are going to pay thousands of dollars for new countertops, you want to work with a company that will at the very least meet with you on time, obtain measurements and order the slab. read more

Loving our quartz countertops! David was wonderful to work with. We reviewed the website he orders his slabs from and were able to stop by and pick up a sample. Once we made our selection, the process was easy. We purchased a sink on Amazon and shipped it directly to his shop so he could measure to fit. He was able to install the countertops within a week and did an exceptional job. The countertops are flawless! He even set up a plumber to come by to hook the sink and faucet up. We also got a great backsplash referral from him. High quality work and great service. Very highly recommended. See the before and after pics! read more

David does tremendous work. Over the course of a year we made multiple changes to our project plan and he was always quick to arrive to update pricing estimates. He's very responsive to calls and texts and is very helpful when you have questions. The prices seem unbeatable. The turnaround is fast. The results are eye-popping. We interviewed other companies but no one came close to putting us at ease like Discount Granite. Some of the quotes we received were more than double what we ended up paying. David's quote was the final price. Even with some minor changes throughout there was never a change in cost. Simply the best, class act from the very start. My wife and I started with a few other granite countertop companies and frankly was a nightmare with no shows, high prices and unprofessional dealings. I found Discount Granite online and was impressed with the reviews.. so we called David and it was stress free and professional from the start. David came out to measure and we knew right away we had made the right decision, we then went to pick out our granite and within two weeks he was back with our granite to fully install... $500 less than the next best quote and half the price of our first quote. I can't say enough about David and his team, we are beyond happy with every aspect and would recommend Discount/David to anyone read more

David was always on time, followed up quickly, answered all our questions and was spot on from the get go. He laid everything out in writing so there were no concerns before hand, explained everything from start to finish, brought a ton of samples and even answered 1000 phone calls when we decided to pick out a slab (which I would highly recommend doing and not going by the samples if you want a lot of movement in your granite.) He even went above and beyond in every aspect explaining how we could save money and we are so thrilled with our new countertops. He even provided a plumber and we have had no issues with any leaks and everything works perfectly. We got a bunch of quotes and even though David was the cheapest the quality was amazing, outstanding, and highly recommended.
