Granite Dude did a fantastic job with our kitchen countertops! The whole process from start to finish was easy and smooth. We picked out our counters at Aracruz, Matt went there and validated that they would work for our kitchen, then put a hold on them. He also went to the sink distributor and ordered our sink. After our cabinets were done, they came to measure the next day and we had our counters 6 business days later, which was incredibly fast! They did an amazing job matching the seams and matching our waterfall. Matt's brother also brought up that we could add the counter to the windowsill too, which we hadn't even thought of. It looks amazing though! Thank you for the excellent experience from start to finish!

I am writing this review as the team is finishing up our project. They are true craftsmen. As I watched the big install I was impressed also with the respect they had for each other.

This review is long overdue, but Matt and his team did an amazing job with my granite install. He was professional but fun to work with, and made the process easy from start to finish. I thought I would spend forever deciding what countertop slab to go with but he walked me through all the considerations. He turned around the installation within a couple weeks (this was pre-COVID, to clarify) and they look phenomenal. Would use them again on any project, highly recommend!

Matt was fast to respond to my request for a quote for my kitchen re model, I sent him through a blueprint of the kitchen and he was able to provide a price on a few different options that day. We met him and his brother at the stone supplier and confirmed our stone, Calcutta marble quartz. The template was done and the install was completed a week later. His installer was fantastic and was able to work around some of my contractors mistakes. Matt and his brother both stopped by to check on the work. I was very impressed with the quality and service which is hard to come by in the re model business. We will definitely be using them for the next place.

We could not be more pleased with our Granite Dude experience! We were replacing outdated Formica to spruce up our condo to put on the market. Matt met us on short notice to choose our sink, style of counter top, and granite. Next, his staff came by for final measurements. A week later, the crew did installation that was done before noon. Matt even called that afternoon to make sure we were happy and thank us for our business. Our granite is SO beautiful - a work of art! We called other companies before this, and are so glad we chose Granite Dude!

Granite boy! where do we start, a fantastically run family business who go above and beyond for their clients. We spoke with Matt after appearing at the granite supplier Aracruz, we initially spoke over the phone and mentioned that we would like marble installed, Matt was kind enough to give us a demo of marble how to maintain, its issues, look after etc. as many people make complaints about the material for not being as durable! After this we had Matt quote the price including the material from our initial selection at Aracruz, we spoke about options and extending the marble a little more around the island to allow people to sit under. Matt came back and the price was good and within our budget so next step was to have Granite Dudes team over to measure, the process was simple they were done fairly quickly. The install was just as simple it took roughly a day and the marble counters look fantastic, we have our overhang, we have a huge single slab island without a single cut, attention to detail is amazing they match the apron cut with the stones natural flow and color. We couldn't be happier and our older slightly dated kitchen has been transformed to something out of a magazine! the team even came back and added some marble sides to our window shelves this brings our breakfast table into a formed part of the kitchen and makes the room flow.   On another note, Matt knows a lot of people in the industry, he recommended a great painter for our cabinets... which reminds me of another review I need to write!!

I was weary picking someone based on Yelp reviews alone but he fit my timeframe. Definitely worth it cause my install was painless(besides the price) and my granite is gorgeous! Waterfall edge and the veins are continuous on every side!

My experience with Granite Dude was exceptional from beginning to end. You can expect great communication, quality installation, and a great selection of counter tops. Most importantly, it was very evident that Steve wanted to ensure my needs were met and that I was happy with the end result. I really encourage YOU to end your search for a "granite dude" with Granite Dude. You'll be happy you did.

11/21/25 AG2 installation day!…read more Background We began consulting with C&S Home Solutions Remodeling September 2025 about our goals for updating our Kitchen, laundry and Bathrooms. The kitchen was a complete remodel eliminating an arched wall extending the kitchen to increase counter and cabinets linear feet. It also incorporated a breakfast bar. Two bathrooms were being remodeled. To accomplish our design continuity we visited Arista Stone to look for slaps for our design. Once we selected our slaps C&S Home Solutions remodeling enlisted the talents of small women owned business Brenda Rodriguez of AG2 Design LLC. Brenda personally visited our home and took all the measurements the day after our cabinetry was installed. She developed the template(s) for all countertops in the rooms. Her expertise quickly shifted to maximizing the use of the slabs minimizing waste and assuring we had enough slab from the same slab lot. Installation day came five days later after the rough bulk slabs were cut and polished. The craftsmanship of the beveled edges and smooth radius corners was amazing. Brenda's team began the installation by custom building the slab to countertop beds to support the heavy countertops. As each countertop was installed the Kitchen quickly transformed from design concept to a beautiful sculptured smooth line modern contemporary kitchen. Brenda also added a slab notch cut to tastefully incorporate a stub wall leading to our laundry room. Maybe a little detail to some but this extra touch of class showcases the talents and personal touches she delivers to her customers. Brenda arrived at the time of installation to personally see everything went smoothly and that we were satisfied. I can't say enough about Brenda and her company AG2 Design! Cost 5/5 There are many big fabricators out there, most chasing large commercial cookie cutter jobs but no one can match the turnaround time, customization and value of AG2 Design. Quality and thoroughness needs to be shown in a higher regard. There was the language barrier, but…read moreI feel like they didn't even ask me what kind of fabricating I needed. It was just the general, nonspecified, generic cuts at the length I had previously requested via text, but some things that they could've /should've asked me would've included finding out if the sink in the bathroom slab should be centered or remain where it was in the old slab. And if they would've had any trouble changing out sinks to have the new sink faucet working they should definitely inform the homeowner that there will be nothing hooked up underneath at all and that's how they left the kitchen and my bathroom! Worse off, in the guest bathroom, he even took it an extra step and noticed that there was a water leak, even though the water was shut off and instead of trying to get to the origin of the problem, he literally just didn't mention the leak until I NOTICED IT, after he was able to hightail it out of there and just left it all leaking underneath my sink and onto the floor. I didn't notice until there's a big puddle of water accumulating within 10 minutes. And now that I think about it, every time I walked past the guest bathroom he was using a towel to mop up the floor, but I didn't know why and now I know why! It was about 10 minutes after they left that was flooding out from underneath my sink, adding all sorts of water damage to my cabinets. So then I had to get someone in there to help me reconfigure underneath my kitchen sink that was a soft water system and make sure that was all correct and somebody else to help me out with the bathroom sinks and laying all new plumbing with new Ptraps and hoses for under each one of those with installation.... But wait, there's more..... My son had offered them his expensive tub and tile caulk if they wanted to use it and they said 'no no we we have a good good caulk' and so we kind of shrugged it off until after they left ... and they left their bucket here on accident filled with water with their caulk and caulking guns still tossed in the water. Every single one of the three caulks they had used for fitting in my 3 sinks was a cheap-o window and door trim caulk!!!!! And not only did they turn my son down to use his good supplies for free, but they in turn, went and used the diametrically wrong stuff for the wrong application!!! And I had to dig out all of the wrong caulk from each one of my three sinks, just to re-caulk each one of them MYSELF (with 100% waterproof bathroom-rated appropriate caulk). I have also enclosed pictures of what I had discovered when I was bending over and mopping up the flood that had become my guest bathroom after they left. I happened to gaze my head upwards while crouching down and noticed that I could see under an into my cabinets, even though the cabinet doors were closed. They just put giant slabs of porcelain that I had picked out on top of little witches that were about 2 inches wide that help the counter remain on top and float. But between these wedges, it's a space that I could quite easily slip my finger or even part of my hand through so I could essentially be outside of the cabinet get inside and under the cabinet at the same time without opening the cabinets. That seemed way off and ugly, so I'm gonna have to find little pieces of wood and wedge it out around so I can close that space out like if they had more of those wedges and put them closer together than they could literally just fill it full of caulk or mortar or something to create a seal. The craziest thing is that these people came highly rated by yelp and were even backed by yelps insurance program, which I am now get to rate and see if I will have to Yelp on Yelp. Because this was unacceptable! Plus, there's like 2 mini stains that there's no way I can get them out of my white, fabricated, quartz countertops! They look like cigarette burns on the side that I noticed when the guys left and I'm not sure what that's from. When they were all done and left, I noticed I now had huge amounts of whitish chalk dust all over my driveway and common sidewalk area. I know that cutting the slabs creates dust but I mean ask for a broom if you don't have one to sweep up the remainder before you leave maybe? Just the work that I had to have done after they left because of what they did or didn't do, and the re-caulking of the sinks after I had to literally dig out the other caulk was just horrible and time wasting and I wouldn't recommend them. They did have a good price and if they wouldn't have been yelp back, I wouldn't have picked them, but seeing as this has taken a long time to write up, I'm not sure if I will get reverse any money from Yelp for this.

I regret choosing this contractor for my kitchen countertop installation. While their prices were…read morevery affordable (a big factor in my decision), it turned out to be a costly mistake. Initially, they were efficient and communicative, and I was optimistic. However, the quartz they installed has been a nightmare. We selected a white quartz based on pictures they provided. Within weeks of installation, the so-called "quartz" started showing major quality issues. The main reasons we chose quartz--its supposed resistance to scratches, heat, and stains--were completely absent. Stains appeared almost immediately and won't come out, even with professional polishers and cleaning solutions. Scratches occurred from something as simple as a barstool rubbing against it. To make matters worse, there's a visible line in one section of the quartz where it looks like it could break. What makes this even more frustrating is that budget was never discussed as a limitation. I could understand if we'd told them we needed to stay within a certain price range, but that wasn't the case. They came, measured, gave us a price, and then simply asked what color granite we wanted and if we preferred veins. There was no disclosure about quality differences or the option to upgrade to a higher grade of quartz. I reached out to the contractor multiple times, after trying to find my own solution for working with and on the countertop, I reached by phone and text over a month in August, trying to address the issues. After no response, I finally sent a detailed email explaining the problems and requesting a copy of our contract. The contractor eventually replied, acknowledged the issues, and claimed quartz shouldn't wear like this. She said she'd contact the supplier--but I had to follow up several more times to get any updates. When she finally responded, she gave us our contract but stated her company wasn't liable for the poor-quality quartz. She directed us to the supplier, despite admitting she had already spoken to them and was told this was "general wear and tear." Frustrated, we hired a new contractor to evaluate the quartz. They confirmed it was quartz but stated it was a very low-quality grade. Replacing it would cost us $6,000-$10,000, or we'd have to live with the subpar countertops. At no point during the process were we given options for higher-quality granite or told that what was being installed was a budget-tier material. The contractor acted as though we had personally selected and purchased the granite ourselves, when in reality, we trusted her to provide a quality product. While the installation itself was passable (aside from a visible cut line), the overall experience was incredibly disappointing. The poor communication, lack of transparency, and unwillingness to stand by the product make this contractor one I cannot recommend. If I'd known we could hire them for just the installation and shop around for better quartz ourselves, I would have. This was an expensive lesson in why "affordable" isn't always worth it. Avoid this contractor if you want quality materials and honest communication.
