Unbelievably fantastic job with our grout staining. Rob and his crew are professional, quick and made our dirty light gray grout look better than new. They acid wash the porcelain tile and grout getting out all the dirt, extract the dirty water, mop it clean and then dry. They then stain each grout line individually by hand with an epoxy stain that also seals the grout better than any clear sealer. Rob stained a few lines first with a few different colors until we got the right perfect color. Now, our grout looks better than when it was first installed as the color matches the tile even better. And the grout is not only cleaned and stained, but sealed so it won't stain. Simply amazed by the process and how great this looks. read more

We had Desert Tile come out, and restore the travertine, in our backyard, that was dirty, and had black mold, in the grout. They did a fantastic job. It looks better then when it was installed. They cleaned, and enhanced the stone, filled in missing grout, then sealed, and buffed. Rob and his son Nick, are very courteous, and wonderful to work with, and so was the associate they brought along. They moved all the heavy patio furniture too. Really happy with how my tile and grout look! Rob, Nick & Tim were very professional and went the extra mile to touch up some extra grout areas against the walls where it was cracking. The perfectionist in me gave them 4 stars and not 5 because we found quite a few areas where grout stain was obvious on my white baseboards and we did need to remove that ourselves. I got their number from the truck on the 101 one day and called. I got one other quote that wasn't even close so chose them. This was a new build that I didn't move into yet and I hate that the grout turns dark within months. My floor looks freakin' amazing to say the least! We sealed the new porcelain tile grout with the same color. You cannot tell it was sealed. They spent 2hours cleaning, then sealed, then polished. We hired Desert Restore Tile and Grout to restore our travertine flooring, that had a botched seal job by Dr Steamer LLC. Rob, his son and their other associate arrived at 8:30. They stripped the seal mess off our floor, rinsed and dry, then did a diamond hone and then buffed it. They were done by 2:30 that afternoon. I've never been so happy! It looked amazing! They do fantastic work and want to make sure their clients are totally satisfied. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing any kind of stone or tile restoration. Found these guys while looking for a local company to clean and seal travertine floors that had been neglected from the previous owner. Called and was able to schedule with them to give me an estimate. I liked the enthusiasm he showed while explaining to me what they could do. I needed some grout repairs in 2 bathrooms, some pretty heavy scratches polished out, and the granite counters cleaned, caulked, and polished. 5 years ago I submitted a 5-star review for Desert Tile & Grout Restore, and our most recent experience was a tribute to the consistency of their dedicated service. The job itself, which was a pretty minor one, was completed in late 2021, and in fact so minor--regrouting a tub/tile joint-- there wasn't much to report on Yelp. But it was their response to what appeared to be a couple of flaws in that grout line that we noticed a few weeks back that spoke volumes about their commitment to clients. Rob came right over and easily saw and corrected the problem, which turned out to not be the result of their original grout job, but a settling issue of the ground under the tub. A lot of outfits do good work, but not as many always provide the concerned follow-up exhibited by Rob, and it's much appreciated. read more

We are so happy with the look of our floors, especially the kitchen floor. My husband was set on tearing out the tile in the kitchen, but Rob (and team) made it look so beautiful with a much more affordable, timely, and comfortable approach than my husband's upgrade idea. About two weeks ago, we started looking for a company that could "seal" outdoor travertine tiles. Ours were installed beautifully around our pool, patio, walkway, edges of the driveway and front entry. It was less than a year old and in great condition, but we wanted it to stay that way. After an extensive search, we came up with three names - one was a national company that dispatched its crews out of Florida, two were local. We ended up speaking with only two - the third couldn't get us a quote for several weeks. The first thing we learned was "you don't want to just 'seal' travertine." There's a process by which they fill in the naturally porous stone with a fine sand, then go through several other steps to get to the final reveal - a stunning look that brings out all the beautiful colors of the stone. We told the two with whom we spoke that we especially liked the look of our travertine when it was wet, and both companies said that's the look we'd get. While we believed both would have done a fine job, we felt most comfortable with Rob - an easy to talk with straight shooter. He came out a week later with his son, Nick, and helper, George. They completed the job in one day, and it came out exactly as expected. Bravo! read more

Not just good, they were great. I had them come out and provide me a quote for the service I needed which was cleaning the grout in the house, replacing some broken tiles and fixing the grout outside of the hose in the driveway. The pricing was reasonable for all the work and we scheduled it a month out to deal with my schedule. Two days before they were to show up I had my gall bladder removed and I state this because we forgot all about them showing up. So when they showed up on the Wednesday morning to do the work it was a bit crazy and my wife explained what happened so these guys were understanding and they would have allowed us to reschedule but since they were their they said they would move all the furniture and everything. Let me tell you when they were done which took a full day and then a couple hours the next day. It was gorgeous. The tile never looked so better and the team was meticulous. I highly recommend them and they did an unbelievable job. read more
