This is updated from initial review. Johnathan was contacted because after the epoxy finish on our kitchen sink had begun to cure it lost it gloss and bubbled near drain. He worked us back in within 2 days to redo the sink. Again both he and his wife(arranges his scheduling) are very personable and try to accomodate in getting satisfactory work done. Once completed the area remained protected with film and tape to dry and cure. We looked at it under the tented protection and it was beautiful and glossy. The next day after removing the protective cover the entire redo had gone to a matt finish. Also on the upright portion of sink hidden from all our view while protected by the plastic, had major runs. I do believe while he tried his best, either the mix of product or wrong equipment for the application is the source of the issue. Either way we will have to live with this in our kitchen until we can afford a kitchen remodel (if ever). It's a sink under granite counter within the frame of cabinetry (not able to drop out and remove; large and custom size in center of our kitchen so this is so disappointing. I am thinking Avan refinishing may be good in cabinetry refinishing and large shower areas with his current equipment. Go over the project with him prior to start and hopefully your projects will turn out better. read more

Here is an update to our problem. They have contacted us and say the want to correct the issue. Johnathan came out today to clean up the caulking that was coming up. We are going to let is sit for a week to make sure it is totally dry. Then he will come out and do it again. I'm hopeful this takes care of the issue. Will up date my review at that time. We used them to refinish a shower floor. They gave us a fair price and were told a 5 yr warranty. On day of appointment I texted them to confirm as the time had come. I was told the tech had truck problems and wasn't going to make it. We made another appointment and he did the repairs. In just a few months the caulking started to come up. I sent pictures and another appointment was made. That day and time came and no tech. I texted and he said the tech was having truck problems and wasn't going to make it. We made another appointment and he came out and re-caulked it again. Now a couple of months later it's doing the same thing. The only caulking coming up is the caulking they did for their area. So I sent pictures and texted again. Now they are saying , yes it has a five year warranty but we have to pay a $60.00 service charge to come out. Noting was told to us about a service charge for their warranty repairs. Nor have I ever heard of such a thing. If it's under warranty , it's under warranty. It's not the $60.00 so much as I have zero trust that they will made the appointment on time and that this repair will really fix what they haven't been able to do in three tries. James Lee.
