We were going to get other quotes and Arrowhead said that they would follow up with us but they never did. A week later we went back to discuss a different pad option after getting a quote from another company. The sales person was rude, condescending and bad mouth the competitor the entire time. We let that slide and set up an appointment to have them come out and measure. Arrowhead never showed up and then proceeded to call 2 days later to only say they never set up an appointment. Arrowhead installed the vinyl plank flooring in our master bedroom and carpet in the master closet. The installation crew said they have been with Tom for almost 20 years. That tells you something. My wife and I visited the showroom right before Christmas and we asked him how soon someone could come out and measure so we could receive a firm cost. We told Tom that we were anxious to get it done. After speaking for a while we found out Tom was going to celebrate the holiday near our home. He offered to call on Christmas afternoon and if we were available he would come over for a few moments and do the measurements. Tom called Christmas afternoon, stopped by the house and within 10 to 15 minutes he was finished measuring. He said he would email a final cost on the next couple of days. After visiting a big box home do it store to look for vinyl plank flooring we decided to visit a specialty floor store. We were greeted by Adam and Trayton and educated about the product we were interested in and allowed to take a large sample home with us. We set a time to come measure our home and were pleased with the quote which was pretty close to our previous quote. The store had the product available and they were able to schedule a two day installation for the following week! The men who came to install arrived early and worked long into the night. Andy and Oscar were experienced and professional. On top of that they were very personable. We trusted them completely. They removed and replaced two toilets in the bathroom and moved furniture easily to make their job easier. Adam from Arrowhead Carpet and Tile stopped by on their second day to check out the work. Our neighbors who came to see our new floor were so impressed they had Adam measure their floor and signed a contract to get the same product installed. From start to finish this experience has been an A+! In a day when supply is low and good workers are hard to come by, we are highly impressed with Arrowhead Carpet and Tile. In late-2011 we decided to go here for carpet, prices were reasonable, service was average. The installers did a good job, especially since they couldn't take a leisurely pace since they had to be done by earlier than they expected due to my family leaving town that afternoon. After they picked up the pace they finished the job with an adequate job. Some of the transitions from tile to carpet(tucks) didn't really look that great, but passable. I didn't really complain since I did make them work faster than they are used to. Fast forward about 4 years(2016). Some of the carpet has now come untucked and has developed a slight hole at one of the transitions. I decided to give them a call to see if I could get a quote on a repair or stretch so I could extend the life of the carpet I have. Left a message with a salesman who said "Tom" would call me back. I waited two days and called back, told them I was waiting on a call back. I was transferred to this "Tom" who first told me that I hadn't been waiting very long so he doesn't understand why was upset I didn't get a call back yet. He then tells me that no one gives quotes on repairs, they just do it and give you a bill. However, he doesn't have people or the time to do repairs and gives me the number of someone else. He then apologizes that they didn't give me the information on the repair person right away. I never understood vendors who really screw up service after the sale, it's the easiest thing to maintain. Rude, unprofessional behavior kills new sales and repeat business. As a result of my last interaction with Tom, I'm not only not going to ever visit that store again, I'm not going to recommend them, and I'm now writing this review. Looking at the other reviews it appears that rude and unprofessional behavior is common at this business. read more

Review We were referred to this company by our realtor. He admitted right off the bat that he'd never used them for flooring, but knew one of the guys because he used to be a funder for him. We thought we'd take the chance. We are in the process of putting our house on the market and we needed the tile in our upstairs bathrooms to be replaced (120sq ft) and the two downstairs living spaces needed new carpet. Their prices were reasonable and the carpet was installed quickly and thoroughly. The tile was a whole different story. When the installer removed the toilet in the master bath he failed to mention that the valve was leaking so we could fix it. Instead he decided to use the lid to the water tank as a run off hoping, I guess, that the water would run off into the toilet drain. Water doesn't work like that though. The lid over filled and ran off onto the floor which leaked through the ceiling to create a water bubble in the ceiling of our downstairs bedroom, which busted and leaked water all over some of the items in that room. We called the owner of the company and instead of assuring us and that they would take care of it ASAP, it wasn't until 3 days later they finally sent someone to patch up the ceiling. They didn't even come back to finish painting the patch. So now we have a patch in the ceiling because of this guy's inability to know his lame run off job wouldn't work. Finally, when the tile was done, I noticed that the installer messed up two of the baseboard corners in our master bathroom. Instead of cutting the tile around them, he decided to remove them, cut the tile and grout it without the corners attached and, unsurprisingly when he goes to put them back, they don't fit and look ugly. They look like an afterthought. I have posted pictures of everything and I would highly recommend NOT using Arrowhead flooring, especially for "smaller" jobs. The owner kept saying well, we don't normally do small jobs like this. I can tell. Every-time they said they would do something, they didn't follow through. My recommendation is to spend your money elsewhere on professionals who will actually be professional and do a way better job. read more

Watch out for the SWITCHAROO!! I bought carpet and pad from this company and purchased the upgraded pad that they advertised to me as "waterproof" in the store. They came out to install and brought a cheap, purple pad that had to be their basic one based on just the looks of it. It doesn't take a carpet person to realize that. We had called the owner Tom over a span of 3-4 hours to try and explain to him that this wasn't the pad we purchased and the 4+ times we called him he gave us the run around saying that it is the right pad and the manufacturers changed the color and there is a spray on film making it "water resistant" (look at the pictures I added and tell me if any of you would believe what he said). My wife tore off a piece of the purple mat and poured some water on it and it went right through it. Finally, during the last calls he got an attitude with my wife and said that he was going to tell his workers to stop and come pick up the pink mat (the one that we wanted) and reschedule for another day for the Install. If he had the pink mat this whole time why wouldn't he send it with his workers? Oh by the way, his workers included his son. I called him the last time while I was at work and he still tried to give me the run around and said that we will get the pink mat and that he has some left over at his warehouse. RIDICULOUS! I told his son at the end I will give him the benefit of the doubt but none of the excuses he was giving could make me believe Tom wasn't trying to get over on us. read more

I first used Arrowhead Carpet way back in 2006 when I had a flood in my home. It was a nightmare scenario and they went out of their way to expedite the installation. Then in 2010 they installed carpet in my master bedroom I swear still looks new today. Then a few years ago a little wave appeared and they sent a guy around to re stretch 10 year old carpet for FREE ! Just last week I had them make a carpet runner out of a remnant from the original install. I just picked it up and again it was NO CHARGE ! These guys are awesome. I needed to replace three currently carpeted bedrooms. One of the rooms is used as an office, and I was torn between carpet and some sort of tile. I had limited time to learn about different options and to make a decision. I also had to make my decision and find a company that would give me good, reliable information, have fair pricing, and work with me to schedule an installation several months in the future. I visited the showroom and Jeff worked with me without rushing, explaining the pros and cons of different flooring materials, and he gave me a bunch of samples to bring home and look at in different lighting conditions. He then came to my house, measured, worked with me again relaxedly and with no pressure, until I made a final decision. He wrote up my "estimate" in precise detail. This was not really an estimate - it was a final price with no add-ons. I confirmed my appointment by phone two months later, as planned. I spoke with both Jeff and Henry, the new owner of this business. Both were very kind, very organized and had my installation ready to go as I had requested. I wound up choosing carpet for two bedrooms and porcelain tile for the office. All was in stock and had been stored for two months with my name. The price had been guaranteed at the time I placed the order with a 50% down payment. Installation took place exactly as scheduled over two days. Brian and Riley worked beautifully and efficiently together. They had lots of furniture to move and disassemble and reassemble, and all was done perfectly and with great care. The actual installation was flawless and beautiful. This job was a home run from start to finish. I recently had tiles installed from this vendor. The service representative was entirely unaccommodating and unprofessional. He refused to execute the work in the manner agreed upon. When I questioned his team of laborers about the nature of unwanted changes to the tile pattern, he responded by calling me and threatening to halt work halfway through the project - his tone was extremely combative, disrespectful and threatening. I chose to have them complete the project rather than have a torn up, half complete floor. When complete, the work was very poorly executed - broken tiles, irregular patterns and generally sloppy work. Additionally, he demanded I pay by check despite a clearly defined clause in our contract that I pay by credit card. I would never recommend this team to anyone. read more

We went to Arrowhead Carpet to buy new living room carpet. We met with one of the owners. I told him immediately I wanted a carpet that didn't show footprints. He showed us a carpet that he said would be great. It wasn't . He told me I should get a carpet rake to get rid of the foot prints . On my second call, the partner said I should come in and we would 'work things out'. He was busy with another customer so his partner started to take care of us. He insinuated I was a liar when I told him I had asked for a carpet that didn't show footprints. He said 'no one ever says that'. Then he showed us one very thin carpet that I didn't like at all. I asked what else he had and was told everything else would show foot prints. Then he said his wife would take care of us. She was no help at all. Their deal was that they would cover the installation. I would pay for new carpet. That deal works for them, not for me. I would be paying twice for carpet and the profit goes in their pockets. I must say that the installers were right on time and did a very nice job. They cleaned everything up and vacuumed the carpet. Do yourself a favor. Find a different company to do business with. They are rude and condescending. They are a no star company. read more

We went in because we are looking to buy carpet for some rooms in are home. I am a shopper and want to make a good choice when it comes to something that is supposed to last for several years. The gentleman that helped us in the store was knowledgeable and extremely nice. He had Tom the owner come out to measure the rooms. Our appointment was scheduled for a certain time he called at the time of appointment and said that he would be there is 20 minutes he was about 30-35 minutes late overall. When we said we were shopping around because we do have time he became rude and asked for his carpet samples back! We bought carpet 2 1/2 years ago - The installers were great- cleaned up and got the job done efficiently.. so far it has held up great-- my only complaint was I had 2 small wrinkles in it and they kept getting worse.. We found some great Cashew carpet very plush, high end stuff. The carpet took a week to be delivered. I recently had hardwood floors installed in the master bedroom, master closet, front bedroom and den. The store was very helpful in explaining their products and installation in Az. The workers arrived on Saturday and worked Sunday and Monday in order to complete the job so that I could be home. I have had worked performed by contractors over the years in my home but have rarely had the qualify of work that the two men did in removing the old carpeting and installing the new wood floor. Their attention to detail, craftsmanship and thoroughness was excellent. The two men were courteous and took a break for lunch only.
