Fantastic work! I love our new block wall and gate. We are in a neighborhood that gets irrigation the trees are huge and so we're the oleanders, which is where I wanted a new block wall. The problem we had is that the oleanders were the only thing that kept our back yard secure. We have a pool in our yard so once they were gone we had no way of securing the pool from someone falling in. Jon had his crew put up temporary fencing to protect my backyard while the oleanders were removed for bulk trash pickup. Jon's company was booked out several week before they could build my wall, but they went out of their way to help me secure my yard for weeks. We had a rather large job (250 feet of block fence, stuccoed and painted with 2 gates and removing the equivalent length of chainlink fence and gates) in north Scottsdale that included navigating the NAOS and ESL overlay which involved high attention to detail when it comes to drainage, plant management, foundation etc and multiple site visits by the city of Scottsdale in order to remain in compliance with the NAOS and ESL. The job took some time and was not inexpensive but Pinnacle Fencing came in right around the same estimate as others and exceeded my expectations as far as quality of work, kindness and persistence in getting the job done no matter how many hurdles the city through at us. We will most definitely be hiring Jon and his team again with any future jobs as they are trustworthy and offer great value for the quality of work. Thanks again, guys! We called a number of fencing companies to get estimates on a fence to provide a backyard barrier for our dogs. Pinnacle responded immediately, came over the next day, and gave a decent bid. After reviewing the others (who, by the way wanted details over the phone before they would even come out...and two didn't even show up!), we chose Pinnacle. Two workers arrived as stated, worked professionally, and completed our project in less time than we expected. The fence is exactly what we discussed. It's been almost a week playing tag with this company. They stopped by my house to look at my backyard fence that needed repair and give me an estimate. They said they will email it to me. They never did. I have not heard back from them since. I called several times to follow up and they promised to get back to me, and they never did. Now, they are not answering my phone calls. I have to call them with a different phone number every time to make them pick up the phone. I cannot speak to the quality of their work, but their customer service is really bad. I just found out that not returning their customers' phone calls is a practice. Pinnacle installed a block fence around my property and did a great job. Very happy with the quality of work and gates installed. It was constructed during monsoon season and 40 feet was blown down before the mortar was cured. The next day the entire wall was replaced at no extra charge. As with all big projects there were glitches. But Jon made good on all the issues and provided a quality product I will be proud of for years to come. We hired John with Pinnacle Fencing Solutions to fix an existing fence and add a gate. We asked him to make sure to reinforce the part of the fence that the gate would be attached to since we had experienced sagging before. He reassured us that this would be done the correct way. Although the fence and the gate looks good, just at 1 year our fence is sagging and now we know it wasn't reinforced as we asked. He was actually the higher of 3 bids we received but we trusted he would do a good job and wouldn't have to worry about this. I have tried to call to see what can be done but he never returns phone calls. I would never hire this company again for any fencing additions now that I know he is dishonest! read more

I found Pinnacle Fencing through the Next Door Site and since no one else I had called for an estimate had even bothered to show up...I called Pinnacle. So glad I did. Jon came out the next day and wrote an estimate. I was able to get on their schedule for this week which is wonderful because we are having people over for Easter and how I have a beautiful new fence instead of the rusting one that was there. They did the entire job in 2 days. The men who came out to do the work were polite, friendly and did an excellent job. They took great care to ensure that my 2 dogs were kept safely in the side yard. They used my old fence panels to construct a very nice temporary dog run and even took into consideration where the dog door was and made sure the dogs could still get to that. One of the guys noticed that I had a loose hinge on a gate on a part of the fence they were not even building (the front yard gate) and he made sure to tighten the hinge up before they left. The lady I spoke to in the office was very sweet and professional. Overall this was a very positive experience and I recommend them!! read more

These people don't know the first thing about how to run a business. They developed misplaced resentment against us after we expressed the desire to have our cement contractor install our gate, simply because it would make the entire project of installing a new driveway and block wall more seamless and easy. The cement contractor needed the exact gate measurements to build the wall properly and offered to install the gate, so why not have him just have him do it. Apparently Pinnacle gets their gates only partially built and finishes the installation at the job site, i.e. welding hinges etc... This must be where they make their money on the gates, and they were angry, and just dropped our gate in our back yard without even a phone call! It was an incomplete gate with hinge brackets that weren't aligned and had to be cut and welded with a cheesy can of spray paint to touch up the powder coat after welding. Holes needed to be drilled and handles and locks installed. The irony is, I could have cared less who installed the gate, I just wanted done without having to make more appointments. These people were so rude to us, all over their blind resentment against having another contractor do the work that they repeatedly ignored our phone calls. The times we did speak to them, they repeatedly said they would complete the gate, yet they never made good on the promise, purposely delayed setting up and appointment("I'll have to check the schedule when I get to the office"), and never called back! Now they send a threatening letter asking for the remainder of the balance for the gate! I never intended on not paying for the gate? What's wrong with these people? Are they used to fighting with customers? They are highly defensive for some reason. Bottom line is, we could have gotten a similar gate from another company, installed, for a couple hundred dollars more, that was properly powder coated, not with spray painted hinges. We didn't exactly get the gate we contracted for. They should have been more forthcoming in the beginning and expressed why they prefer to install their own gates. We would have been happy to go that route had we known it was such a point of contention with them. read more

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. A gate was delivered that was not the color we ordered. The bolts were not powder coated but a can of spray paint was provided. Jon refused to return over 20 calls. I spoke with a receptionist who screamed at me. We were sold a service "that they don't usually do". If it's not something they did they should never have contracted it. Instead they were angry and delivered an inferior product. read more

They are putting fence up for our neighbor but they are in our yard walking on my flowers .Breaking them off, taking our rocks that we paid for and putting in her yard.You say something to them and they smile and say sorry. Her yard is all dirt nothing in it to walk on but my yard is landscape. Plus we paid for mound in our yard they were cutting the side off for her fence. I asked this company to come out and give me a quote on a block wall. The person answering the phone and Brandy, who came out to visit, were very nice and personable. Brandy was slightly late for our appointment and did not call to let me know. She did, however, apologize for being late without any mention of her lateness from me. After taking measurements, I was told I would have a quote by the next day. That did not happen. In fact, I had to call to check on the quote. When the quote came in it was considerably higher than other masonry companies I contacted. They also didn't list out details (such as the price per linear foot, permit fees, etc) as other companies had. Ultimately, we decided not to go with this company after our experience with the quote, the higher than average cost, and reading other's reviews. Perhaps they do quality work, but we were concerned if we had trouble getting a quote that it was likely a sign of how the entire project would go. read more
