I would classify Timothy's as a hidden gem. It is also a first for me, as this was my initial experience making a reservation on yelp, confirming it, and ultimately using the platform to share a review. Talk about a one-stop shop! The newly opened Timothy's restaurant brings timeless fine dining to Creve Coeur. Before going to the restaurant, perusing the menu online, I was impressed by the classic, yet approachable offerings and inventive preparations, not to mention the creative cocktail menu and solid wines (by the bottle and glass) offerings. The interior includes both a dining room and bar area. We were seated in the dining room. The ambiance is soothing and elegant. The black tablecloths and spotless waterglasses, dishware, and utensils amplified the quintessential fine-dining feel. The service here is some of the best that I have encountered in a long time. Our water glasses were topped up throughout the evening and the female server went above and beyond, providing warmth and wit as she guided us through the menu offerings. The signature menu item, the lobster pot pie, was exquisite and a must-try as a starter. The dish is a high-end interpretation of comfort food featuring shallots, peas, and a touch of cream, sherry and, of course, chunks of lobster claw meat within a puff pastry shell. The grilled Caesar salad was incredible. I would never think to grill hearts of romaine but could easily get addicted to this memorable presentation. The cocktails, too, are simple yet elegant. I ordered the Aviation. Served in a coupe, it featured gin and creme de violette. Its stunning appearance made me feel like a roaring '20s character. Dessert here is also a must. The key lime pie was out of this world, not overly sweet and perfectly portioned. Keep up the outstanding work, Timothy's! read more

Great happy hour. Fantastic service. Delicious tableside bananas foster! Yum. Menus changes with the seasons.

We just had dinner there with our family. Our server Amanda was super accommodating and helpful. I even had something that was a bit too spicy for me and she went and exchanged it for something I could eat. I would def come here if I wanted a quality meal or to celebrate a Special occasion. read more

Went for Happy Hour around 5pm, the place was packed. Happy Hour M-F here is 2:30pm - 6pm and they have some really good deals. My wife enjoyed the Mango Pisco Sour drink that was the "cocktail" special for Happy Hour. I enjoyed the house Chardonnay. We ordered the chicken wings, humus plate and an order of fries for apps. The fries were piping hot and I thought could use a bit more salt. The Humus plate was OK, my wife had had it previously and said it was better when the pita was warm and soft, this version the pita was cold and crisp. I thought the wings were cooked well, but I did not care for the barbecue sauce, next time I would order them sans sauce. There are a couple of other items I'd like to try on the HH menu (deviled eggs and flatbreads) and will on a future visit. I'm also very interested in several of the Dinner entrees and will try those as well. Service here was excellent and the ambiance in the place was good as well. I'm looking forward to future visits. read more

I came here around 7pm on a Wednesday with a friend. We were sat immediately. As it was on a whim, we were not dressed up at all, but normally I would've dressed nicer for this place. Nevertheless, they were welcoming to me in my t-shirt and cut-off jean shorts. We started with the berries and burrata, which was delicious. The bread they brought out was pretty good as well. For dinner I got the vegan mushroom bolognese, which was just so freaking delicious. I'm not vegan, but I love mushrooms, and it did not disappoint. For desert we tried the peach bread pudding and an affogato. I'm not the biggest fan of bread pudding in general, but it was pretty ok. My friend really liked it. I got the affogato because I've always wanted to try one. It was fine. The restaurant is intimate, the service was very good. I would definitely come back here. read more

Wow! We had an incredible meal here last night. You would never guess that this place just opened. The entrance is in the room with a full bar and high top tables. They also have a separate dining room and a patio with tables just outside. My wife and I had the filet for entree. My mom had the filet and scallops special. Our steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare. We shared a lobster pot pie as a starter and it stole the show. if you go here you should try it. Thanks for such a great meal Timothy's! We will be back soon. read more

Timothy's - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - St Louis, Missouri

Terrific menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The ambiance is wonderful, don't judge from the outside

We randomly popped in here after a morning soccer game for their Sunday brunch and each one of us got something very different. Cheeseburger and fries for one kid, French toast made from bread pudding for another kid, husband had the breakfast plate and I had the crab cake eggs Benedict special. Each one was delicious and our waiter was wonderful! I definitely recommend Timothy's! read more

I love this restaurant and I frequent it. All the food has been very good. A couple of minor disappointments: the fried tofu is way too salty and allow for a baked or mashed potato substitution for the frities in the steak frites dish. read more

I dont leave reviews very often, though I consider myself a foodie. I went here for a special anniversary with my family. We were so disappointed! We couldn't understand how such oversalted (lamb), overcooked (pasta), over-mayonnaised (eggs), frozen (flatbread) food could get such strong ratings. Will not be back and hopefully you don't make the same mistake. read more

The food was great and service was excellent! Our reservations were for 7:15,and we seated immediately. When we were leaving, the host, made a point if using my name ti thank us for coming in! read more

Food was perfect for lunch- great ambiance. Service was fantastic and very attentive.

This was a mixed bag for us. From the outside it didn't look like a fine dining establishment. But the inside was nicely appointed but pretty loud. We had a great waitress with a good personality. But it took over an hour for entrees to come out, which probably felt longer to me than the others at the table as I was the only one who didn't order a salad. My sister-in-law said she couldn't find any lobster in the lobster pot pie. I had the shrimp and grits, which was fine, but not the best I ever had. There was some kind of crunchy pieces that I think were fried onions that gave good texture but didn't have much taste. I wish there had been more bacon as the piece I had was good. The shrimp were good but could have had more seasoning. The grits were also just ok. I did clean my plate (unlike my sister-in-law) so my dish certainly wasn't bad... but for 30.00 I expected great. The guys were much happier with their meals. One of them had the duck special which he really enjoyed. The other had the pork belly which he wished was thicker, but was very happy with. He did say the Caesar salad was the best he ever had! So while I would go back if someone invited me, I don't think I will plan to go back on my own. read more

Sorry, but you can't serve me a lobster pot pie without any lobster in it. Otherwise, I love this place.

food was excellent, unique preparation & presentation style. Owner & staff are highly personable and friendly, take great care of their clients. Happy hour prices are very reasonable, will definitely frequent this place! read more

I had the burger and tots - both were excellent. I also highly recommend the Old Fashion - unique and tasty! The bartender knows his craft.

Great food with a creative menu. Superb service every single time! Owner operated business, and you can tell!

Just found out about Timothy's restaurant and love it. The staff and food are amazing. They worked hard at wanting to please us and give us a wonderful evening. I had the dinner special being offered that was a pasta with morel mushrooms. So good. The salad I ordered was the house salad that was a variety of unique lettuces and vegetables with goat cheese and I think a buttermilk dressing. So good. There was Asiago bread on the table. We stayed late talking and while having wine with our friends, I watched the staff work setting up the tables for the next day and was impressed with their professionalism on how the table was set up with precision. Everything was lined up on its mark. Only carrying and handling the water & wine glasses at the bottom. Cloth napkins. Etc. Everything you would expect from fine dining and a five star restaurant. We had a cocktail before dinner that was a special offered by the bartender, it had fresh fruit & herbs on top, very good. The wine section was outstanding and enjoyed a couple of bottles in our group. Highly recommend this intimate place for its food, drink, service and atmosphere. Really a hidden gem. We will be telling our friends and will go back often. read more

Found this on yelp with a good rating and decided to try it. I was not disappointed. Although I did not have a reservation, the staff was very accommodating. The friendly staff mixed with the great food make this a place you should add to your list. Their happy hour pricing is on point as well. read more

Had Sunday brunch here after church. First time here, had reservation and we were seated immediately on arrival. Nice decor and updated dining room. Quaint and cozy. Waiter seemed on edge at first, no greeting just walked up and started talking about the special. We ordered beverages , appetizer, salad and entree. Salmon salad nicoise, delicious combination of flavors!! The shrimp and grits super good too. Daughter had the deviled eggs also good, she wished there were more than 3 halves. She enjoyed the Pastrami lamb chops, with the egg and potatoes and recommends them highly. Husband had the Ham & Chz with potatoes and said it was good. We will be adding this restaurant to our rotation . read more

Service was excellent. Very attentive and friendly staff who made the experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommend.

I would give 10 stars if possible to Timothy's. The atmosphere is wonderful and it's a treat to sit down at a table with a tablecloth and cloth napkin. Lunch menu has a nice selection at reasonable prices My friend loved the Chicken and Rice soup and we both really liked the BLT with the T being a fried green tomato. She also liked her Apricot cocktail. Our server, Aidan was great. Very attentive and friendly. He's a great asset to the Timothy's team. We'll be back and looking forward to a Happy Hour. read more

Food was merely mediocre and we were seated near the entrance to the busy kitchen. Won't return

Great restaurant. Food was delicious. Service was top notch. Restaurant was cozy. We started with crab cakes and salad. The lobster pot pie was so delicious. Very rich. Our kids wanted to share the 8oz. Beef tenderloin. They brought the entree on two plates, which was nice. The lemon blueberry sorbet was a perfect dessert as a palmate cleanser. We will definitely be back. read more

Brought out a burger so burnt it was inedible. So then we sent it back. They tried it again and that brought out a raw burger twice, we ordered a shrimp roll and it was actually dripping and it was on a hotdog bun. The staff, however, is incredibly nice unfortunately the Chef needs to do better. The whole reason we went was because the menu online listed a gluten-free flatbread and we went at lunch and it wasn't available until dinner and they had very limited gluten-free options for lunch. Which was also a negative. read more

This is on my list of places to recommend! My 3rd time visiting and the food is just delicious and keeps me coming back. My friends all had different entrees and I had the pork chops... again! I can't seem to tear myself away from them. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture. The servers are unmatched! My one friend has a garlic allergy and BAM!! It was acknowledge and she was accommodated!! I have a citrus allergy and our server advised me on all ingredients in the dishes I inquired about. The ambience is classy, elegant and makes you feel like you're home having your very own dinner party!!! I hope TIMOTHY's is around for a long time. read more

Took my daughter here for her 21st birthday dinner. Could not have made a better choice!!!! They made her feel very special! The food was amazing and the service was even better!! It was a very memorable evening!! We had multiple people coming by to offer their birthday wishes! The manager and bartender were as equally involved as our wonderful waiter! Highly recommend!! read more

We started with the deviled eggs which were quite good, only 3 halves though. Great place! Food was great. Fir dessert we had some kind of flaming coffee drink. Everything was top notch.

We were greeted quickly and received excellent service. I like the vibe. The menu was varied, with something for everyone. I went with the oxtail ragu. It was on point. Also, the Caesar salad was better than most. read more

We will have to come back. Overall enjoyed the food and drinks. Was a little weird they are doing photo shoot and it was super bright. Our server apologized for it which is fine. But was a little weird. Service was a little slow but that's because they were busy and probably under staffed so we totally understand! Our server was great. Shrimp penne and the chia fig rum drink were both on point. read more

Amazing truffle Mac! The service is also spectacular. Sets the mood for a romantic evening.

Went to Timothy's for my birthday. Pimento cheese deviled eggs are delicious, the duck special was gorgeous and lush, and the shrimp and grits tasted like home. Service was impeccable, the server very knowledgeable. The space was really lovely, smaller and not overwhelmingly loud like so many places can be. I look forward to returning! read more

The ambiance and service were both very nice. The vegetarian options are plentiful which is also a bonus and sometimes hard to find. Creve couer doesn't not have a lot of upscale restaurants so it's nice to have a newer edition. However the food was fairly bland. Would love to come back but can't really justify the price in comparison to other upscale dining restaurants in St. Louis. read more

A friend and I came out here today for lunch as neither of us have ever been. The interior is beautiful and intimate. Our server was nice, attentive, and knew the menu well. The food was ok. I got a chefs salad. I guess because it was lunch there was little protein. I was even considering to add more but was given the impression it was enough. It looked like 2 thin slices of turkey chopped and sprinkled on a plate with 1 deviled egg. So 1/2 of an egg and it was $15. Flavors were good. But again it's just a chef salad. There wasn't anything special about it. My friend got the steak salad and said it was nothing special not even half gone. $40 for 2 lunch salads...yikes. read more
