I drug my boyfriend all over the place so that i could look for a couple hats. I think over the course of a few months we went to several different malls and shopping centers and I just had no luck. I even looked in Texas and i couldnt find any. One day while shopping he had the idea to go to Tilly's - we left with three hats. I think i got TWO hats for around $25 and my boyfriend's hat (which he gets complimented on all the time) was about $25. Actually, I kinda had a hard time deciding which hat to get because there were about 5 that i really liked! I was surprised at their selection of clothes- they are really cute and very reasonably priced. They have mens, womens and kids clothes plus accessories and shoes. They don't accept returns, even though they might say they do on the receipt. This is my first time shopping at Tillys, and it's the last time I'll ever do so. I'm surprised it's still open. The selection here was limited. Came in to take my niece to get some school stuff. The people working the backpacks in the back, never addressed us. Took over 20 minutes to finally get help due to the line. Not sure why they keep this stuff behind the counters. Prices were ok. Ended up getting what we wanted, just took a really long time. This is the one in Burbank, right? Yeah, try someplace else, another location for sure. I walked in to get a present for someone, said "Excuse me" to one of the employees, who proceeded to stare at me and not say anything until I asked them if they worked there and they begrudgingly replied with a sigh, "yes". What a trip! It's like if you don't want to be at work, then just leave. Oh well, lesson learned but will never match rudeness with rudeness, all I could do was just walk out and ended up going to a different one. Not asking anyone there to be HAPPY to see me and wait on me hand and foot, but dang, at least be somewhat nice. Stay away from this location if at all possible. This store if full lying sales people. They ask you who helped you so they can get credit but they don't tell you about items being final sale. Completely dishonest store manager and the store is in chaos. The manager lied to customer service to save her job. This will not end here. This store isn't as good as it used to be. The salespeople aren't very helpful in finding styles and sizes. They point you to sections and that's about it. Their stock seems limited and the salesperson on the floor didn't know what the most popular styles and colors of jeans were. Also as a parent I'd like a place to sit outside the dressing room. They used to have a bench there but moved it. Bottom line is I'd let my son spend more time and more money if I could rest while he tried and be near enough to see what how things fit. When I mentioned this to the cashier, she told me I should get my blood going and stand. That was inappropriate and not at all empathetic nor appreciated. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Manager was involved and still was unable to handle the issue at satisfactory. Had a receipt for a return, for whatever life reasons that came up (COVID, sick, stuck in Texas due to weather) I was not able to return an item since I was outside of the 30 day window. A $60 purchase went down to $20 dollars due to other circumstances. Why aren't we more reasonable with purchases with COVID, why can't a store honor a receipt, unused item. I will be writing to the Better Business Bureau as well as corporate on this issue. No where on the receipt does it state will give item at the current price. Then they sent an email to say sorry and have us the offering "buy 1 item 20% free shipping". It's not fair because we got 50% off of you DIDN'T cancel our item. Emailed them. They said they will answered within 24 hours. No reply till next day. Sent a reminder. Got no feedback till now. They didn't respect thier customer. The customer service at this store is terrible. I was there on Black Friday the store was very messy and looked like a discount store. I purchased a $35 water bottle and I came home to see the bottle has stains all over. I wasn't happy with my purchase and decided to return. The store manager, Crystal refused to return the item telling that they cannot accept return on bottle because it looks like it's has stains and they cannot put it back on the shelf. I was surprised to hear that they put all the returns back on the shelf and sell it at regular price. First it doesn't meet the sanitary guidelines and having the current virus circumstances that shouldn't be an option in the first place. She was so rude. Good Tilly's location. My son is between boys and men's sizes but we were able to find some joggers and a few nice shirts. Joe was extremely helpful and attentive while we were browsing and looking for items. They also always have a good selection of backpacks to chose from and offer 20% off one item from time to time along with back to school specials. I'd recommend this location. Have to love a store where I can find cute size 3 shoes for me.. and 501 jeans for my nephew... the staff is friendly, except they won't let you take pictures of the clothes on.. Like I'm going to buy the material and make my own exact outfit. For the chunkier girl ( me) they have tons of tops and dresses that fit me and that works for me. I did not get greeted or asked if I needed help even though employees were passing by left and right. It's not until I started to walk over to the register when someone finally introduced themselves to me which leads me to assume they get comisión because I was asked at the register if anyone helped me and what their name was... Horrible business. Scam 30 day return policy. I tried to exchange a pair of shoes after One Day! I wore them a bit walking on carpet to see if they fit. They were too small. Took then back the next day and the Tilly's employee wouldn't let me exchange for a larger size. He said they were dirty. The shoes looked exactly like when I bought them, clean and brand new. Ridiculous. It wasn't like I wore them and returned for cash, like some scam. I just wanted to exchange them for shoes that fit! Probably the better of all tillys I've been to. Staff is helpful and nice and they have a lot of options. I Usually buy some cologne or perfumes here. I've also done some shoe shopping, bought some volcom pants and many dress shirts. Currently they have a buy 50 dollar before taxes worth of stuffs and receive a 10 dollar certificate for use on your next visit. Can only be used if you purchase 30 dollars worth of stuff though, Still a good deal to me. read more

I ordered online last night, I ordered two pairs of the same jean shorts but in different colors and one pair of sweat shorts, they were all supposed to have a 23in waist. The package came this morning and I was happy it came so fast, until I unpackaged my order and it had black boarding/swim shorts, that had a 27 in waist and were really short. they didn't even look like the picture and were definetly not sweat shorts. the two jeans were actually not made out of denim, but they were made out of the material used for jeggings. they too were not the correct measurements and had a 25in waist but the thighs were only 21in. They also didn't look anything like the picture. I will never shop at tillys again, they are overpriced and i have found better things at goodwill. im definetly returning my full order. Im so dissapointed because I got jean shorts from tillys last year and they shrunk after i washed them. Never shop there. its a scam and its definetly not worth your time or money, not to mention their website is really confusing and glitched out multiple times while I was trying to place an order. I purchased a Nixon watch but wasn't satisfied with it so I returned it to the Burbank store. The manager gave me a hard time about returning it and would only issue me a gift card even though I don't shop at Tillys I just shop there for there watches. I lost my wallet with my gift card inside. I called customer service and they advised me that someone used my gift card and that I was screwed. If they would of just satisfied there customer "ME" by refunding me my purchase I wouldn't have lost money. I've gone into this tillys 3x in the past 2 weeks each time hoping for a different outcome and it hasn't been better. Each time I walked in no one greeted me, no body asked if I needed help, employees walked by looking at me then going a different direction and when I did need help I had to go find someone around the store to help me. I needed help with boots and asked for a size and they came back with the wrong ones. Felix asked if I needed help when I had the boots after the guy had walked away. Then I decided to just look around and I found another pair of boots and I was holding them and a girl walked by and looked at me twice and never said a word. Ended up leaving without purchasing anything. Very bad vibes from this store. Never was displeased here until recently. Will be going to Glendale store from now on. read more
